Abstract

IPS not just learning the process of interaction between educators and learners with learning resources in a certain environment, with ekspositori learning strategies teachers were able to control the sequence and extent of learning material, he can know the extent to which students master learning materials delivered. Through the learning strategy ekspositori in addition to the students can be heard through the utterance of a learning material, also at once students can see or observing (through the implementation of the demonstration). Obstacles faced by IPS teacher at SMP 6 Semarang is the presumption IPS in the lessons students are always related to memorize and write so much. This resulted in students are not motivated to focus during the following lesson IPS. Although for most students still consider the lessons of IPS is the preferred lesson. Pembelajaran IPS bukan sekedar proses interaksi antara peserta didik dengan pendidik dan sumber belajar dalam lingkungan tertentu, Dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori guru mampu mengontrol urutan dan keluasan materi pembelajaran, ia dapat mengetahui sampai sejauh mana siswa menguasai bahan pembelajaran yang disampaikan. Melalui strategi pembelajaran ekspositori selain siswa dapat mendengar melalui penuturan tentang suatu materi pembelajaran, juga sekaligus siswa bisa melihat atau mengobservasi (melalui pelaksanaan demonstrasi).Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru IPS di SMPN 6 Semarang ialah anggapan para siswa dalam pelajaran IPS selalu berkaitan dengan menghafal dan menulis yang begitu banyak. Hal ini yang mengakibatkan siswa tidak termotivasi untuk fokus selama mengikuti pelajaran IPS. Walaupun bagi sebagian siswa masih banyak yang menganggap pelajaran IPS merupakan pelajaran yang disukai.

Abstract

Remedial teaching is the alternative actions that teachers can take to deal with strudent’s learning difficulties. The problems in this research are the learning process of IPS, the cause of student learning difficulties, and the implementation of remedial teaching IPS in SMP Negeri 2 Batang. The purpose of this study to identify the causes of students' learning difficulties and to know the application of remedial teaching. This study uses descriptive qualitative method using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The result shows the learning method was PBL or lecture method. The student’s difficulties are identified from the learning result and behavior, the cause of difficulties comes from internal and evironmental factors, the teacher's remedial teaching can help the students. Teaching remedial conducted by the teacher has not been optimal, because teacher has not given terepeutic function for healing and prevention functions so that students do not experience learning difficulties again. Pengajaran remedial merupakan salah satu alternatif tindakan yang dapat dilakukan guru untuk menangani kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa. Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah proses pembelajaran IPS, penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa, dan pelaksanaan pengajaran remedial IPS di SMP Negeri 2 Batang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa dan penerapan pengajaran remedial pada siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar IPS.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif diskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru antara model PBL atau ceramah, kesulitan belajar siswa diidentifikasi dari hasil belajar dan perilaku siswa, penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa karena faktor internal siswa dan faktor lingkungan, pengajaran remedial yang dilakukan guru dapat membantu kesulitan dan hasil belajar siswa. Pengajaran remedial yang dilakukan oleh guru belum optimal, karena guru belum memberi fungsi terepeutik yaitu fungsi penyembuhan dan pencegahan agar siswa tidak mengalami kesulitan belajar lagi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of PBL learning models in learning process of social studies class on the VII grade students’ of SMP Teuku Umar Semarang from the teacher skill of managing the learning process, students activity in the learning process, and students’ learning outcomes classically.This research uses quantitative method with pre-experimental design with one group pretest post-test design. Data collection methods used are tests, observations, and documentation.The results showed that teacher included high category in learning activities, learning results had increased and achieved completeness in classical manner, so it can be said that learning process using PBL learning model is effective.The calculation results of tcount = -30, 428 and t table = 2.039 because thitung<ttable then Ho is rejected. This means that the posttest results are better than the results of the pretest, or there is an increase in results. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran PBL dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VII SMP Teuku Umar Semarang kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, aktivitas peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen menggunakan pre-eksperimental design dengan desain one group pretest postest design.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dalam mengola pembelajaran termasuk kategori tinggi, aktivitas belajar masuk pada kategori tinggi, hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dan mencapai ketuntasan secara klasikal, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL efektif. Hasil perhitungan thitung=-30, 428 dan ttabel = 2,039 karena thitung < ttabel maka Ho ditolak. Hal ini berarti hasil posttest lebih baik daripada hasil pretest, atau ada peningkatan hasil.

Abstract

This study is aimed to find out how the inheritance process and the role of families and society in inheriting the alms earth values to the young generations in Taban. In addition, this study is aimed to find out the obstacles in the process of inheriting the alms earth values to the young generations. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data selection sources through purposive and snowball. The results of this study showed that the process of inheriting alms earth values was carried out through education done by families and society namely imitation, socialization, and enculturation. The inheritance process requires the contribution of facilities through formal education like schools and non-formal education like family, peers, local government, and society. The obstacles in inheriting process are the negative impacts of globalization, like the presence of new cultures, the viewpoint of young generations that the noble values are not suitable with modern life, and the degradation tendency of the young generations affiliation to local culture.

Abstract

The Braja Fajar Village community is a transmigrant community from Java and Bali. The multicultural condition of the society requires transmigration communities to adapt to the natural environment and the surrounding environment. The process of adaptation can be through social interaction. The process of social interaction can produce cooperation between individuals in society. Through cooperation, relationships between individuals will get closer, so that individuals in the community will know each other and have good social relationship. Social interaction can also be used as a media to keep preserving Javanese cultural values in the trasmigation area. This process of social interaction can be internalized with social contact and communication as an individual effort in adapting to the natural environment and the community environment in transmigration areas. Masyarakat Desa Braja Fajar adalah masyarakat transmigran dari Pulau Jawa dan Bali. Keadaan masyarakat yang multikultural mengharuskan masyarakat transmigrasi untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan alam dan lingkungan sekitar. Proses adaptadi dapat melalui interaksi sosial. Proses interaksi sosial dapat menciptakan kerja sama antar individu dalam masyarakat. Melalui kerja sama, hubungan antar individu akan semakin dekat, sehingga individu dalam masyarakat akan saling mengenal dan saling memiliki hubungan sosial yang baik. Interaksi sosial juga dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah untuk tetap melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya Jawa di daerah trasmigrasi. Proses interaksi sosial ini dapat terinternalisasi dengan kontak sosial dan komunikasi sebagai upaya individu dalam beradaptasi dengan lingkungan alam dan lingkungan masyarakat di daerah transmigrasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) Determine the application of the character values of social care through education scouting on students at SMPN 1 Cipari, (2) Determine the application of the character values environmental awareness through education scouting on students at SMPN 1 Cipari, (3) Knowing the factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values social care through education scouting, (3) Knowing the factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values matter educational environment through scouting. This type of research used in this research is the field or arena (field research) with descriptive qualitative model. . The results of the study explained that, (1) Values of social care character can be applied through scouting education. (2) Value character matter of an environmental can be applied through education scouting (3) There are many factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values social care through education scouting, ( 4) There are many factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of eco-character values through education scouting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan pada siswa di SMPN 1 Cipari, (2) Mengetahui penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan pada siswa di SMPN 1 Cipari, (3) Mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (4) Mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan atau kancah (field research) dengan model kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Nilai karakter peduli sosial dapat diterapkan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (2) Nilai karakter peduli lingkungn dapat diterapkan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan (3) Terdapat berbagai faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (4) Terdapat berbagai faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan.

Abstract

This research was aims to know about the effect of the utilization of environment as a learning resource on social science learning achievement of 7th grade in State Junior High School 2 Ambarawa. The method used was quantitative with quasi-experimental design. This research located in State Junior High School 2 Ambarawa. Sample are students from F class as a control class and students from G class as an experimental class. The data was acquired via test, observation and documentation. In order to proof the validity of the data was used validity test, reliability test, level of difficulty and level of the differentiation. The data were analyzed by using normality test, homogeneity test also paired sample t-test. The results of the research showed that the utilization of environment as a learning resource on 7th grade in State Junior High School 2 Ambarawa has affected the social science learning achievement. This fact was obtained after seeing the average of the experimental class at post-test which increase from 60 to 76.6 or 27.5% in percentage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Lokasi penelitian ini berada di SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas VII F sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII G sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Guna menguji keabsahan data digunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas juga mengukur daya beda serta tingkat kesukaran soal. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan sumber belajar lingkungan pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa memilki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Fakta ini di dapat setelah melihat nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada saat post-test mengalami kenaikan yang semula 60 naik menjadi 76,5 atau apabila dihitung dengan presentase naik sebesar 27,5%

Abstract

In the global era demanded the world of education to always and constantly adjust technological developments to efforts in improving the quality of education, especially adjustments to the use of information technology. The research objectives are (1) Knowing how the application of e-learning learning models to support students' analytical skills, (2) Knowing how the effectiveness of kahoot-based e-learning learning models in social studies learning, (3) Knowing what obstacles are experienced when applying the model Kahoot-based e-learning learning. The method used in this research is quantitative. This research is a Quasi Experiment research using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results of this study are: (1) teachers are able to carry out the steps of learning well (2) Analysis of the ability of teachers in accordance with the learning plan. (3) Student learning activities are classified as moderate, (4) Student learning outcomes if seen 67% of students of Class VII A who complete KKM, only 13% of Class VII B students who complete KKM so that it can be said to be effective. (5) It can be seen that students respond well to learning. As for the skills variable, it can be known to have good skills, the results can be said to be effective. (6) There are obstacles, namely the available hardware, the constraints on the part of the students themselves, namely there are some students who have symptoms of nearsightedness. The conclusion from this study is that the learning model can be said to be effective. Pada era global menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk selalu dan senantiasa menyesuaikan perkembangan teknologi terhadap usaha dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan, terutama penyesuaian penggunaan teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) Mengetahui bagaimanakah penerapan model pembelajaran e-learning guna menunjang kemampuan analisis peserta didik, (2) Mengetahui bagaimanakah efektivitas model belajar e-learning berbasis kahoot dalam pembelajaran IPS, (3) Mengetahui apa saja kendala yang dialami saat pengaplikasian model pembelajaran e-learning berbasis kahoot. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Eksperimen Quasi menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) guru mampu melakukan langkah-langkah pembelajaran dengan baik(2) Analisis kemampuan guru sesuai dengan rencana pembelajaran. (3) Aktivitas belajar peserta didik tergolong sedang, (4) Hasil belajar peserta didik jika dilihat 67% siswa kelas VII A yang tuntas KKM, hanya 13% siswa kelas VII B yang tuntas KKM sehingga dapat dikatakan efektif. (5) Dapat diketahui bahwa siswa merespon baik terhadap pembelajaran Sedangkan untuk variabel ketrampilan, dapat diketahui memiliki ketrampilan baik, hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan efektif. (6) Terdapat kendala yaitu pada hardware yang tersedia, kendala pada pihak peserta didik sendiri yaitu terdapat beberapa peserta didik yang memiliki gejala rabun jauh. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran dapat dikatakan efektif.

Abstract

The birth of the 2013 curriculum requires an increase in the thinking skills of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Treffinger learning model on HOTS in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Gombong. The method used in this research is quantitative. The results of this study are (1) The implementation of learning using the Treffinger learning model at SMP N 1 Gombong consists of three stages, namely basic tools, practice with processes, and working with the real problems. The learning model (2) Treffinger has an effect that increases the HOTS of students at social studies learning. This is known from the value of sig. = 0.000 <0.05 with t_hitung = -13.763. HOTS using the Treffinger learning model has a higher effect than learning using the conventional learning model. (3) There are obstacles in learning using the Treffinger learning model, namely differences in the abilities of each student in readiness to receive the material given.

Abstract

In the global era, it requires world education to always adjust and follow technological development to improve the quality of education, especially are used of varied and creative models and media for education, especially in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the snowball throwing learning model with rolling ball game media on online-based students learning motivation in social education at the class of VIII SMP N 33 Semarang. The method used in this research is quantitative. The results of this study are (1) The learning implementation uses the snowball throwing learning model and the rolling ball game media at SMP N 33 Semarang. (2) The use of the snowball throwing learning model and the rolling ball game media can have an influence on student learning motivation in social studies learning. (3) There are obstacles, namely the available hardware such as cellphones or laptops and unstable internet networks during learning activities.
