Abstract

This study aims to quantify the influence of halal brand awareness and halal label on purchase decision at Saudi Store in Banda Aceh City with religiosity being a moderation variable. In this study, primary and secondary data collected were used to support the analysis process. The population of this study were Saudi Store consumers domiciled in Banda Aceh City, with a total sample of 150 respondents. The number of samples was determined using the Hair formula and taken using a non-probability sampling technique. This study used a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA), which were then analyzed using the SPSS data processing program. The results showed that halal brand awareness and halal label had a positive and significant effect on the purchase decision of Saudi Store in Banda Aceh City. The results of this study indicate that religiosity acts as a pure moderating variable in the relationship between halal brand awareness and purchase decision where the interaction of religiosity strengthens the influence of halal brand awareness on purchase decision. Then the results of this study show that religiosity plays a role as a pure moderating variable in the relationship between halal labels and purchase decisions among Saudi Store consumers in Banda Aceh City, but the interaction of religiosity weakens the influence of halal labels on purchase decisions.

Abstract

This research focuses on the influence of Brand Image, Service Quality, and Religiosity on Customer Loyalty, mediated by customer satisfaction at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Banda Aceh. In Aceh Province, the operation of sharia financial institutions is comprehensively regulated through Qanun Aceh Number 11 of 2018 concerning Sharia Financial Institutions (LKS), which implies that customer loyalty is determined not only by service-related aspects but also by the observance of sharia values. Using the SmartPLS 4.0 application, this research implemented the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method within a quantitative research approach. The data were gathered through a Likert scale questionnaire distributed to 150 active BSI customers in Banda Aceh who were selected using purposive sampling. Based on the findings, Brand Image and Service Quality significantly and positively affect customer satisfaction, whereas Religiosity does not significantly influence customer satisfaction. The results further indicate that customer satisfaction significantly affects Customer Loyalty. In addition, customer satisfaction mediates the influence of Brand Image and Service Quality on Customer Loyalty, but it does not serve as a mediator between Religiosity and Customer Loyalty. These findings indicate that the loyalty of BSI customers in Banda Aceh is more dominantly influenced by brand image and service quality through satisfaction, rather than Religiosity.

Abstract

This research investigates the effect of entrepreneurial motivation and educational factors on students’ entrepreneurial intention within the USK entrepreneurship programme, with attitude towards entrepreneurship positioned as a mediating variable. A quantitative method was employed, utilizing path analysis through SmartPLS 4.0. The study involved 135 active students enrolled in the programme, selected using purposive sampling. The model assessment covered outer model evaluation, inner model testing, and hypothesis verification through the bootstrapping procedure. The findings reveal that both entrepreneurial motivation and educational factors positively influence entrepreneurial intention. Nevertheless, attitude towards entrepreneurship does not exert a direct effect on entrepreneurial intention, nor does it serve as a mediator between motivation, education, and intention. These results highlight that while motivation and education significantly contribute to fostering entrepreneurial intention, the role of entrepreneurial attitude is not always a determining psychological element in this context.

Abstract

This article discusses how consumer value, satisfaction, and loyalty can be developed from the perspective of Islamic marketing. This issue is important because modern marketing practices often position consumers as transactional targets, whereas Islamic marketing requires business relationships based on values, ethics, justice, and public benefit. This article positions Islamic marketing as a conceptual approach that is not only concerned with functional satisfaction, but also with consumers’ spiritual and moral satisfaction. The discussion is conducted through a qualitative literature-based study by examining the concepts of consumer value, satisfaction, loyalty, and Islamic principles such as halal, thayyib, amanah, sidq, adl, ihsan, and maslahah. The discussion shows that consumer loyalty in Islamic marketing is formed through the integration of perceived value, satisfaction with consumption experience, trust in the company, and consistent business practices aligned with sharia principles.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen lecturers’ capacity to improve SINTA performance by transforming community-service activities into publishable outputs. Using a service-learning (SL) approach integrated with a publication pipeline, the program was implemented through (1) needs assessment and baseline mapping, (2) a core workshop on manuscript structure, ethical publication, journal/publisher selection, and reference management, (3) writing clinics and peer-review in small groups, and (4) finalization and submission planning. The activities were conducted in one main session followed by a short mentoring follow-up period (2–4 weeks). Results indicated improved participants’ writing literacy and manuscript quality, with most participants producing complete drafts and a substantial proportion reaching “submission-ready” status. The program implies a replicable model to accelerate credible scholarly dissemination and support SDG 4, 9, and 17.

Abstract

This community service program addressed post–hydro-meteorological disaster disruptions to safe water access in Rancong Village, Kuta Blang Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency, Aceh, where flooding and environmental contamination increased the risk of unsafe household water and hindered recovery of daily activities. The program aimed to restore access to safer drinking water and strengthen community capacity to operate and maintain the service through an integrated, appropriate-technology intervention. The implementation combined participatory action cycles with community co-design, student service-learning through an impact-oriented field program, and an asset-based approach to leverage local resources for sustainability. Activities were conducted in sequential stages: stakeholder coordination and joint decision-making, rapid needs and risk assessment of water sources, engineering design and installation of an integrated multi-stage emergency drinking water filtration unit, field functionality and performance testing using a before–after measurement approach, technology transfer through hands-on training, and development of standard operating procedures and an operation-and-maintenance logbook managed by the village team. The program produced key outputs: a validated baseline of local water risks and service needs; an installed filtration unit at a community-agreed location; community training and operational guidelines to ensure consistent daily use; and an agreed operation-and-maintenance mechanism to support continuity beyond the project period. Overall, the program demonstrated that pairing emergency water treatment technology with structured community governance and practical capacity building can accelerate post-disaster recovery of basic services and provide a replicable model for similar villages affected by flooding and related hazards.

Abstract

This community service article reports a post-disaster recovery program conducted in Rancong Village, Kuta Blang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh, following a hydrometeorological flood that disrupted clean water access, environmental sanitation, public facilities, and children’s psychosocial well-being. The program aimed to support community recovery through an integrated and participatory approach. The activity was implemented for 20 days, from 2 to 21 February 2026, involving university students, field supervisors, village authorities, and local residents through a service-learning method. The main intervention focused on installing a clean water filtration system, while supporting activities included cleaning flood-affected houses, restoring religious and public facilities, clearing drainage channels and roads, introducing a low-smoke rocket stove for household waste management, and conducting educational and recreational activities for children. The results show that the program improved access to cleaner water, restored environmental and communal functions, strengthened community participation, and created a more positive post-disaster social atmosphere.
