Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi menuntut institusi pendidikan menyediakan layanan akademik yang cepat, akurat, dan mudah diakses. Universitas Anwar Medika memerlukan sistem informasi akademik berbasis mobile yang mampu meningkatkan fleksibilitas akses bagi mahasiswa dan dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan RESTful Web Service sebagai media integrasi antara sistem Cybercampus berbasis web dengan aplikasi mobile sehingga layanan akademik dapat diakses secara real-time tanpa melakukan perubahan pada sistem backend yang telah ada.Pen elitian menggunakan metode pengembangan Waterfall yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan evaluasi. Web Service dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel dengan arsitektur REST dan format pertukaran data JSON, sedangkan aplikasi mobile dibangun menggunakan platform Kodular. Pengujian dilakukan melalui black-box testing, beta testing menggunakan skala Likert, serta pengujian kinerja sistem yang meliputi response time, throughput, uptime, dan kompatibilitas aplikasi mobile. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mengintegrasikan layanan akademik ke dalam aplikasi mobile dengan baik. Pengujian kinerja menunjukkan response time sebesar 280 ms, page load time 1,82 detik, uptime 99,87%, throughput 168 request/detik, serta error rate sebesar 0,14%. Selain itu, hasil beta testing memperoleh nilai rata-rata di atas 4,30 pada seluruh indikator, yang menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi diterima dengan baik oleh pengguna. Dengan demikian, implementasi Web Service berbasis REST mampu meningkatkan aksesibilitas layanan akademik secara efektif, responsif, dan andal.

Abstract

Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2 is a cloud computing service that offers highly flexible and customizable infrastructure, giving users complete control over specific server configurations. Heroku, on the other hand, is a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) focused on ease of use and application management, making it ideal for developers who prioritize speed and simplicity. Optimal hosting performance is crucial, especially for interbank transfer applications, which require fast response and a smooth user experience. Therefore, this study aims to compare which hosting platform is most optimal for an interbank transfer application developed using the Atlantic Pedia API. The hosting performance testing method between AWS EC2 and Heroku was conducted comprehensively using Google PageSpeed Insights. The metrics measured included performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO for both mobile and desktop views. The analysis results show that AWS EC2 excels in the Performance metric, with a score of 97/100 for Mobile and 100/100 for Desktop. For Accessibility, both EC2 views scored 92/100, Best Practices 79/100, and SEO 91/100. Meanwhile, Heroku showed a Mobile Performance of 89/100 and Desktop 92/100, but excelled in Mobile Accessibility at 100/100, followed by Best Practices 75/100 and SEO 91/100.

Abstract

The wavelet transform is an improvement of the Fourier transform. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) are part of the wavelet transform. DWT and SWT can be used to reduce noise in images. In this research, DWT and SWT methods are compared for image denoising process. The PSNR value and computation time for level 1 and 2 wavelets are compared. A grayscale test image of Lena and the cat measuring 512×512 pixels are used. We use Haar, Daubechies, biorthogonal, symlets, and coiflets wavelets. From this research results, the highest PSNR value is for the SWT method. As for the fastest computation time, it is all for DWT method.
