Abstract

Low legal literacy in rural communities often hinders the effective implementation of legislation at the local level, potentially triggering disputes and reducing public compliance. This community service activity aims to enhance legal awareness among residents of Wantilan Village as a strategic pillar for regulatory enforcement. The method employed integrates Community-Based Research (CBR) and Participatory Action Research (PAR), encompassing interactive seminars, participatory discussions, and free legal consultation services. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pretest and posttest instruments administered to 85 participants. Results indicate a significant increase in legal awareness scores from an average of 42.5 to 78.3 (p < 0.01), with the highest improvement in knowledge of rights/obligations and compliance attitudes. A total of 24 consultation cases were successfully handled, primarily focusing on civil and village administration matters in a preventive manner. The findings confirm that a participatory educational approach effectively bridges the gap between formal legal norms and community practices. It is concluded that the program successfully strengthened the community’s legal awareness foundation. It is recommended that this model be developed into a sustainable village legal clinic integrated with village government programs and partner universities.

Abstract

Abstract

This study analyzes the correlation between Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) legal compliance and Human Resource (HR) productivity using national workplace accident data from Indonesia's Single Labor Data Portal (2019-2024). A qualitative approach with documentary study design and thematic analysis was employed to identify relational patterns and causal mechanisms, using accident rates as a proxy for OSH compliance. Findings reveal a 152.7% surge in accident cases (from 182,835 to 462,241), indicating systemic enforcement deficiencies. Three causal pathways were identified: (1) reduced workforce capacity due to absenteeism (14-28 days recovery) and permanent disability (6.17% fatality rate); (2) 32% higher motivation and job satisfaction in companies with structured OSH systems; and (3) resource reallocation from accident cost savings (IDR 5-500 million/case) toward HR competency development. Results refute the assumption that OSH is a financial burden, confirming instead that safety investment is a prerequisite for sustainable productivity. Sectoral disparities (construction 29-32%, manufacturing 26%) and severe underreporting (94% in peripheral regions) reflect regulatory gaps, enforcement deficits, and cultural barriers. Policy recommendations include risk-based regulatory reform, digital supervision systems, and OSH integration into vocational curricula to transform compliance from procedural obligation into a strategic productivity driver. The study contributes empirical evidence linking legal compliance with tangible productivity outcomes in Indonesia's labor context.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the inconsistency in employees’ work target achievement within the PSMA Division of the West Java Provincial Education Office, which is presumed to be associated with the suboptimal implementation of both internal and external service standards. The study aims to empirically examine the extent to which perceived service quality influences employee performance in the organization. An explanatory quantitative approach was employed, involving all 41 employees through a census sampling technique. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire that had demonstrated satisfactory validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings reveal that service quality has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.330, p = 0.020), with a coefficient of determination of 55.3%. Descriptive analysis further indicates that service quality is perceived at a very high level (mean = 4.31), while employee performance is categorized as high (mean = 4.17). These findings suggest that improving and standardizing service quality can serve as an important mechanism for enhancing employee productivity and organizational performance within public sector institutions.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of employee personal branding within GoTo Group's content based digital marketing strategy on its official website, addressing post merger cultural integration challenges between Gojek and Tokopedia. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with a single case study design, the research combines content analysis of gotocompany.com (Januari-December 2024), semi structured interviews with three key informants, and a systematic literature review of Scopus indexed journals. Findings reveal a significant gap, GoTo's website remains dominated by corporate narratives without space for employee generated content, despite strong foundations through Employee Resource Groups (±1,200 members). Persona segmentation identified four employee groups (Tech Talent, Sustainability Champions, Merchant Success, Driver Partners) with varying engagement potential. The study proposes the T-I-R-O-C-A implementation framework (Testimonial Internal Resource Organic Amplification Community Analytics), adaptively designed for post merger organizational complexity. ROI projection indicates first year savings up to IDR 13.8 billion through an 81% increase in career page conversion rate and 24% reduction in cost per hire. The findings enrich Indonesia's employer branding literature by positioning employee advocacy as an integrated digital marketing strategy that builds consumer trust through authenticity.
