Abstract

Penelitian ini berusaha mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tentang metode pembelajaran Tanya jawab. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur, yang selanjutnya sumber literatur tersebut dikaji lalu dibuat hasil dan pembahasan sehingga dapat dibuat kesimpulan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Metode studi literatur adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat, serta mengelolah bahan penelitian. Metode Tanya jawab adalah metode mengajar yang memungkinkan terjadinya komunikasi langsung yang bersifat two way trafficsebab pada saat yang sama terjadi dialog antara guru dan siswa. Guru bertanya siswa menjawab atau siswa bertanya guru menjawab. Dalam komunikasi ini terlihat adanya hubungan timbal balik secara langsung antara guru. Pertanyaan yang dirancang dengan baik akan mendorong siswa terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Akibatnya siswa dapat dirangsang untuk berpikir dan melakukan kegiatan belajar yang bermakna, dan tentunya keterlibatan siswa juga meningkat. Salah satu metode belajar yang banyak menggunakan pertanyaan yaitu metode belajar tdengan Tanya jawab.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of education in traditional Sasak society in Lombok which is influenced by local wisdom related to environmental management and cultural preservation. This education involves hereditary practices that focus on ecosystem sustainability, such as the use of traditional medicinal plants which not only function as medicine, but also to maintain environmental balance. Local practices such as the Ngelowong tradition demonstrate an environmentally friendly approach that has long been part of Sasak people's lives. Education based on local wisdom also plays an important role in instilling character values, such as mutual cooperation and respect for nature, in the younger generation. These values are integrated into daily activities, helping to ensure environmental sustainability through the participation of the next generation. This research uses a literature review method, namely examining information published in a certain field of study within a certain time period. Data collection techniques involve searching for journals or books relevant to the research title. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman's theory which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. With this approach, the Sasak community becomes a model for sustainable environmental management that is relevant for other indigenous communities.

Abstract

This study examines the national identity crisis in Indonesian education globally. This type of research is literature with a qualitative approach. Data collection by reconstructing data from books, archives, magazines, documents, journals, documentation, newspapers, etc. Using the philosophical hermeneutic analysis approach of Hans-Georg Gadamer through the stages of interpretation, holistic, and heuristic. This study shows that education is needed to strengthen national identity in the vortex of social change. Globalization is like a "three-edged sword," namely it can weaken or even eliminate a culture (transcendence), can help revive a culture (transference), and can cause a mixture of cultures (transformation) between globalization and local culture. In addition, the factors causing the national identity crisis based on a global perspective from a sociological vision are specific culture (web culture), antisocial nature, and low criticality of adolescents in facing the development of technological culture. From an anthropological perspective, namely the hegemony of global culture by international powers, the weak resilience of society in facing the onslaught of global culture, the noble values ​​of culture are starting to erode and may even disappear at some point, and modern culture is replacing old traditions. This research is limited to a narrow-scope analysis of the national identity crisis, while there is still a need for other essential aspects that need further study. Education should not only examine the intellectual side but there is a need for a balance of science and knowledge so that the output is not only intelligent in intellectual terms but also has value, one of which is national identity and love for one's products and culture.

Abstract

This study explores the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model as a contextual approach to overcome learning difficulties among eighth-grade students in understanding the topic of circles. The research was conducted through a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method in two cycles at SMPN SATAP 1 Pringgabaya, involving 13 students as subjects. The implementation of RME focused on bridging abstract mathematical concepts with real-life experiences through contextualized problem-solving, group activities, and visual representations. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, and classroom observations. The results showed a notable improvement in students’ conceptual understanding, with the average score increasing from 62.91 in cycle I to 72.5 in cycle II, and classical completeness rising from 58.33% to 75%. Furthermore, learning interest increased from 61.42% to 79.45%. These findings indicate that RME not only enhances students' cognitive outcomes but also positively influences their engagement and motivation. Thus, RME serves as an effective pedagogical strategy for teaching geometry, particularly in visualizing and contextualizing mathematical concepts such as circles.

Abstract

This entrepreneurial activity is carried out in the form of training in making flower bouquets and assistance in efforts to maintain and develop the business being formed. This entrepreneurial activity was motivated by the condition of the productive age population in the city of Mataram, NTB, especially in Lendang Lekong village. The productive age population consists of teenagers who are members of youth organizations. The results of the activities carried out show an increase in entrepreneurial attitudes, knowledge and skills in making bouquets and running a bouquet business to gain economic income.

Abstract

Abstrak Meskipun banyak penelitian telah mengeksplorasi pentingnya pecahan dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar, penelitian mengenai topik ini di tingkat sekolah menengah pertama masih terbatas, terutama dalam mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa dan merancang pendekatan alternatif untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kedua aspek tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah fenomenologi hermeneutik. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 1 Narmada Lombok Barat yang terdiri dari 29 siswa kelas VIII. Peneliti berperan sebagai instrumen utama yang didukung dengan beberapa alat seperti tes operasi pecahan, pedoman wawancara mendalam. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengoperasikan bilangan bulat, khususnya perkalian dan pembagian, merupakan faktor utama kesulitan belajar. Rancangan didaktis terdiri dari 3 tahap. Tahap pertama meliputi beberapa kegiatan yaitu Ayo Tebak dan Ayo Baca. Tahap kedua meliputi kegiatan-kegiatan seperti Mari Mencari, Mari Berdiskusi, dan Mari Menyimpulkan. Tahap ketiga terdiri dari kegiatan Ayo Latihan dan Refleksi Diri. Tahapan ini dikembangkan untuk memperkuat pemahaman terhadap prasyarat tersebut melalui kegiatan yang melibatkan penentuan kelipatan persekutuan terkecil dan faktor persekutuan terbesar. Sebagai rekomendasi, penelitian ini menyarankan agar guru matematika mengadopsi berbagai situasi didaktik berbasis masalah dalam pembelajaran pecahan. Abstract Although numerous studies have explored the role of fractions in the elementary school curriculum, research at the junior high school level remains limited, especially in identifying factors contributing to students' learning difficulties and developing alternative instructional approaches to address these challenges. This study aimed to examine both aspects. A hermeneutic phenomenology method was employed, with participants consisting of 29 eighth-grade students from SMPN 1 Narmada in West Lombok. The researcher acted as the primary instrument, supported by tools such as fraction operation tests and in-depth interview guidelines. The findings indicated that students’ difficulties stemmed primarily from their weak understanding of integer operations, particularly multiplication and division. To address this, a three-stage didactic design was implemented. The first stage included activities like "Let’s Guess" and "Let’s Read." The second stage incorporated "Let’s Search," "Let’s Discuss," and "Let’s Conclude." The final stage consisted of "Let’s Practice" and "Self-Reflection." These stages were designed to strengthen prerequisite knowledge through exercises on determining the least common multiple and greatest common factor. The study recommends that mathematics teachers integrate problem-based didactic strategies into fraction instruction.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan belajar mahasiswa menggunakan Aplikasi Google Classroom dalam matakuliah Matematika Diskrit pada masa pandemic covid-19. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai semester ganjil tahun akademik 2020/2021 pada Mahasiswa semester V matakuliah Matematika Diskrit sebanyak 34 orang, Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. FSTT UNDIKMA Mataram. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa angket/kuisioner dengan menggunakan google form. Wawancara dilakukan pada saat akhir kegiatan belajar mengajar secara daring. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan excel untuk menghitung jumlah persentase serta nilai rata-rata. Indikator angket diberikan pada mahasiswa terdiri dari ; 1) Respon siswa mudah dalam mengakses Aplikasi Google Classroom, 2) keefektifan dalam pembelajaran Matematika Diskrit dalam menggunakan Aplikasi Google Classroom, 3) pemahaman terhadap materi dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Aplikasi Google Classroom, (4) mudah pemahaman materi Matematika Diskrit  jika menggunakan aplikasi Aplikasi Google Classroom selama masa Pandemi Covid 19. (5) motivasi mahasiswa  dalam melakukan belajar online karena menggunakan Aplikasi Google Classroom,(6) kualiatas interaksi guru dan siswa dalam Pembelajaran menggunakan Aplikasi Google Classroom. Berdasarkan indikator penerapan  Aplikasi Google Classroom menunjukan rata-rata mahasiswa menjawab setuju sebesar 75.5% dan tidak setuju sebesar 25.5%. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa penerapan Google Classroom mendapatkan tanggapan yang baik dari mahasiswa, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran pada matakuliah Matematika Diskrit.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hasil belajar mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Google Classroom pada matakuliah Matematika Diskrit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai semester ganjil tahun akademik 2020/2021 pada Mahasiswa semester V matakuliah Matematika Diskrit sebanyak 34 orang, Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. FSTT UNDIKMA Mataram. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar Mahasiswa. pada penelitian ini dianggap berhasil jika hasil belajar mahasiswa telah mencapai nilai ketuntasan belajar yaitu > 70. Sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 29 mahasiswa atau sekitar 85,3% mahasiswa dinyatakan tuntas dengan nilai akhir >70 sedangkan sebanyak 5 mahasiswa atau sekitar 14,7% mahasiswa dinyatakan tidak tuntas karena memperoleh nilai akhir < 70.

Abstract

Respon peserta didik dalam pembelajaran yang dilakukan pengajar merupakan tanggapan dan reaksi dari peserta didik terhadap pengkondisian pembelajaran yang dilakukan pengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Aplikasi Google Classroom pada matakuliah Matematika Diskrit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai semester ganjil tahun akademik 2020/2021 pada Mahasiswa semester V matakuliah Matematika Diskrit sebanyak 34 orang, Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FSTT UNDIKMA Mataram. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa angket/kuisioner dengan menggunakan google form. Indikator untuk mengukur respon mahasiswa yaitu 1) penerimaan mahasiswa pada kemudahan Google Classroom dan performa Google Classroom untuk pembelajaran pada matakuliah Matematika Diskrit yang terdiri dari Isi (content) (1.a), Akurasi (accuracy) (1.b), Bentuk (format) (1.c), Ketepatan Waktu (timeliness) (1.d), Kemudahan Penggunan (ease of use) (1.e), Keamanan dan Privasi (security and privacy) (1.f), dan Kecepatan Respon Media (1.g). dan 2) Kepuasan Pengguna (user satisfaction) Google Classroom. Respon mahasiswa pada indikator 1) penerimaan mahasiswa pada kemudahan Google Classroom dan performa Google Classroom untuk pembelajaran pada matakuliah Matematika Diskrit rata-ratanya sebanyak 79.70% mahasiswa sangat setuju dan 18.64% mahasiswa setuju mahasiswa dan hanya sebesar 1.66% mahasiswa menyatakan tidak setuju. Dan  indikator 2) Kepuasan Pengguna (user satisfaction) Google Classroom yaitu rata-rata Respon mahasiswa sebanyak 86.76% mahasiswa sangat setuju dan 11.76% mahasiswa setuju mahasiswa dan hanya sebesar 1.47% mahasiswa menyatakan tidak setuju. Dengan hasil yang demikian, penggunaan aplikasi Aplikasi Google Classroom pada matakuliah Matematika Diskrit mendapat respon yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how Merdeka learns in the view of Ki Hadjar Dewantara and its relevance for character education developers. Character education is very important and must be carried out, because it forms the character of the nation which is one of the objectives of a national education. Character education is not new, but in its implementation efforts educators and educational units are still not optimally implementing character education. Nevertheless, character education continues to be pursued until today, character education continues to be implemented, strengthened, and continues to be developed including in the independent curriculum through the character of Pancasila students. Philosophically, character building through character education is needed and needs to be given to students to achieve the nation's educational goals. In line with the view of Ki Hajar Dewantara, education will not be separated from the values of character (ethics), physical, and mind of students who will later become 'humans' in society. So that character education has an important role to develop the potential of students and become a virtuous Indonesian society. In this study, the literature review method was used. This method addresses information published in a particular field of study within a specific period. A literature review can be a simple summary of sources, but usually has an organizational pattern and incorporates summary and synthesis. The data collection technique is to search for relevant journals or books. The data analysis technique used is the theory of Miles and Huberman which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions.
