Abstract

Modules are teaching materials that can be used by teachers in providing material during learning. In addition, the module is a support for learning activities. Even so, many teachers still who cannot compile modules to assist them in teaching and developing their potential. Therefore, this independent curriculum-based teaching module preparation training activity will provide benefits for teachers and students. Teachers will be able to teach well with existing teaching materials and can improve the quality of educator skills, and students get structured and systematic material. The methods used in community service activities are discussions, lectures, questions and consultations. Lectures and discussions are conducted to convey material regarding learning modules in general, while consultations are held to assist in the preparation of modules carried out by teachers and resource persons. The impact of the mentoring module at SD IT Darul Ilmi is good for teachers. This is shown from the modules produced by the teacher that have been adapted to the needs of students. In addition, the teacher also has good teaching materials for delivering material and students can master the material provided well.

Abstract

Solid motivation has a positive impact on learning achievement and student attainment. This study aimed to determine the impact of cooperative learning on learning motivation of grade IV students in Mojokerto, involving 72 elementary school students. The research method used was quantitative using Comparison-Group Design. The results showed significantly higher student learning motivation in the experimental group than in the control group. Cooperative learning was applied for the experimental group, while lecture-based teaching was used in the control group. Implications for innovation in teaching methods and further research are suggested to further popularize cooperative learning for better learning outcomes.

Abstract

This was survey research which aims to measure the higher order thinking skills of students at STKIP PGRI Pacitan. Respondent of this research were student of PGSD Department at STKIP PGRI Pacitan which total of 34 respondens. From the survey results obtained that of the 13 Marzano HOTS levels, not a single level was in the high category. Apart from that, there were only 3 Marzano HOTS levels which are in the moderate category, namely the level of comparing, classifying, and deductive reasoning. Meanwhile, the 10 levels other, namely inductive reasoning, analyzing errors, constructing support, analyzing perspective, abstracting, decision making, investigation, problem solving, experimental inquiry, and invention are in the low category. In this way, this research can measure students' cognitive levels so that they can be given appropriate treatment to improve their higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

Teacher’s strategy in preventing bullying in elementary schools are crucial factors in creating a safe and conducive learning environment. This study aims to describe teacher strategies for bullying prevention based on a child-friendly school approach at 1 Pringkuku elementary school, employing a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources includde teachers from grades 1 to 6, with data collected through observation and interviews. The findings indicated that teachers integrate anti-bullying education into subjects such as Indonesian Language and Civic Education, supported by participatory teaching methods and models, the habitual practice of 5S (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan, Santun), enforcement of rules, and follow-up with educational sanctions and consequences. Additionally, a prevention and violence response team composed of teachers and the school committee has been established to reinforce these efforts. The implementation of teacher strategies based on the child-friendly approach has been highly effective in preventing and addressing bullying at 1 Pringkuku elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the activities of teachers and students in the application of differentiated learning and understanding of mathematical concepts in grade 5 students of SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo. This descriptive research was carried out in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data was collected through observation, tests, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that: (1) Teachers' activities in the application of differentiated learning models have been carried out well in the aspects of student readiness, content differentiation, and product differentiation; (2) Student activities are also in accordance with aspects of student readiness, content differentiation, and product differentiation; (3) The understanding of mathematical concepts of grade 5 students of SD Negeri 1 Sirnoboyo after the application of the differentiated learning model showed that is generally good and quite good. Students are able to represent the concepts learned, solve mathematical problems, and present mathematical statements orally and in writing in various forms of representation. However, some students still need further guidance and practice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe 1) teacher strategies in forming the religious character of fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Klesem, 2) the religious character of fourth-grade students from the results of the implementation of teacher strategies. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects were Islamic Religious Education teachers, grade IV homeroom teachers, and 21 grade IV students. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity checking techniques are source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis techniques are in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that: 1) teacher strategies in forming the religious character of fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Klesem are the habituation approach (through praying, tadarus, dhuha prayer, memorization, and Asmaul Husna), role models, integration in learning, providing motivation and rewards, implementing 3S culture (Smile, Greet, Say Hello), participation in religious and extracurricular activities, 2) the religious character of fourth-grade students from the results of the implementation of teacher strategies is starting to form and is shown by the consistency of increasing student habituation participation in every aspect and indicator that exists for three weeks. Teacher strategies have proven effective in instilling religious values in students.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman tentang Komunitas Belajar, khususnya bagaimana membangun dan mengoptimalkan komunitas belajar di sekolah SDN Wringrejo IV menjadi salah satu tujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan bagi guru-guru SDN Wringinrejo IV untuk dapat membangun budaya belajar melalui komunitas belajar dan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dan juga meningkatkan pemahaman tentang Komunitas Belajar terutama tentang cara membangun dan mengoptimalkan Komunitas Belajar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru terutama terkait dengan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Metode PkM ini ialah pelatihan lokakarya digunakan untuk membantu membangun komunitas belajar dan mengoptimalkannya di sekolah mitra. Tujuan dari metode ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dengan berbagi informasi dan berdiskusi tentang hasil belajar. Dengan menerapkan PKM, mitra belajar tahu tentang pentingnya Komunitas Belajar di sekolah, terutama tentang bagaimana membangun dan optimalisasi Komunitas Belajar di sekolah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dan budaya belajar di sekolah, dengan 100% kehadiran peserta dan 87% pemahaman materi.

Abstract

Kabupaten Kediri memiliki potensi besar sebagai sentra penghasil ubi kayu, namun masihmenghadapi kendala dalam efisiensi produksi, manajemen usaha, serta strategi pemasarandigital Tujuan pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan berbasis wilayah skema pengembanganproduk unggulan daerah ini adalah mengembangkan potensi unggulan daerah melaluioptimalisasi dapur usaha UMKM olahan ubi kayu di Kabupaten Kediri guna meningkatkanproduktivitas, branding, dan pendapatan usaha. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada penguatankapasitas dua mitra utama, yaitu UMKM Kripik Sermier dan UMKM Kripik Tempe Sagu,dengan dukungan Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Kabupaten Kediri. Metode pelaksanaanmeliputi pemetaan kebutuhan, modernisasi peralatan produksi, pelatihan manajemenkeuangan digital, pengembangan desain kemasan, serta pendampingan promosi digital danpenerapan sistem keamanan pangan sederhana (HACCP). Teknologi tepat guna yangditerapkan mencakup mesin pencetak kerupuk otomatis, mesin pengaduk bumbu, danmesin pengemas higienis untuk mitra pertama, serta mesin pencuci dan pemotong tempesemiotomatis bagi mitra kedua. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitasproduksi sebesar 6–7%, efisiensi waktu naik 20%, dan penurunan cacat produk sebesar3,5%. Kedua mitra kini memiliki sistem pencatatan keuangan digital, kemasan yang lebihmenarik, dan aktif di marketplace serta media sosial. Dampak sosial ekonomi terlihat daripeningkatan pendapatan dan keterlibatan tenaga kerja lokal, terutama ibu rumah tangga

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan guru SDN Sooko 4 Mojokerto dalam menyusun asesmen pembelajaran mendalam yang sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Asesmen yang digunakan guru masih berfokus pada pengukuran kedapatan mengingat dan memahami, sehingga belum optimal mendorong keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (Higher Order Thinking Skills). Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang instrumen asesmen yang dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran mendalam. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan berbasis praktik, meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, praktik penyusunan asesmen, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi hasil kerja peserta. Mitra pengabdian adalah 15 guru SDN Sooko 4 Mojokerto. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai pemahaman guru dari 58,4 sebelum pelatihan menjadi 87,2 setelah pelatihan. Selain itu, guru dapat menghasilkan instrumen asesmen berbasis HOTS dengan rubrik penilaian autentik yang lebih terukur. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik efektif meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan berimplikasi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dengan menggunakan media permainan chess math. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa STKIP Bina Insan Mandiri Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4D dengan rancangan Pre Test Post Test Design. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh beberapa temuan, yaitu: kemampuan dosen dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media permainan chess math berada dalam kategori baik, kinerja mahasiswa selama menerapkan permainan chess math berada dalam kategori baik, hasil belajar mahasiswa sesudah menerapkan pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan sebelum pembelajaran, serta respon yang diberikan mahasiswa pada pembelajaran ini positif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT menggunakan media permainan chess math dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
