Abstract

Manuscript Type: Research Article Research Aims: The research studies the contextual stimuli (business knowledge and environment) toward entrepreneurial self-efficacy and locus of control that influence entrepreneurial intention. Design/methodology/approach: The survey involved vocational high school students in Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia, and collected 101 responses. The research applies a quantitative method of 2-steps Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Research Findings: Results confirms that business knowledge influences entrepreneurial intention mediated by entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Environment influences entrepreneurial intention mediated by locus of control only if students participate in entrepreneurial marketing education. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: The findings contributed to entrepreneurship literature by showing the role of entrepreneurial marketing education in enhancing student’s locus of control, which enables student’s environment to determine entrepreneurial intention. Managerial Implications in the Southeast Asian context: Research highlights important, yet, less discussed context regarding young-age entrepreneurial intention in vocational high school level. Research also demonstrates the significance of integrating entrepreneurial marketing education into school’s curriculum or supplementary curriculum. Research limitations and implications: This study is limited to vocational high school student context. Research on a more mature respondent context may produce different result

Abstract

Banyak mahasiswa menginginkan usaha rintisan. Namun usaha rintisan memerlukan pendanaan. Banyak mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memperoleh pendanaan. Setiap usaha memerlukan pendanaan. Pendanaan berasal dari pendiri usaha maupun oleh investor. Usaha rintisan memperoleh pendanaan dari investor. Usaha rintisan tidak memiliki kemampuan memperoleh pinjaman bank. Bank meminta jaminan harta tidak bergerak dan usaha yang telah berjalan selama minimal dua tahun. Pelatihan ini memberikan cara-cara dalam memperoleh pendanaan dari investor. Tahapan dan persiapan yang harus dilakukan oleh usaha rintisan. Pelatihan diharapkan dapat membuka wawasan mengenai pendanaan, valuasia dan model bisnis yang diinginkan oleh investor. Model bisnis yang fokus pada pembakaran ‘uang’ perlu dihindari. Hal-hal apa saja yang dipertimbangkan oleh investor, sebelum mengambil keputusan investasi.

Abstract

– The community service activity, which is a combination of three President University flagship researches about the creation of a Smart Ecosystem that will be outlined in the Jababeka Smart Township application, allows students and the community to work together to build a Smart city in the Jababeka area. The goal of this community service project is to create a smart city that involves everyone. The strategy employed is direct community implementation by involving President University instructors and students. According to the findings, Jababeka Smart Township Super Apps invites the community and students to participate in and contribute to this application. According to waste management studies, there is a need for timely and accurate information about the presence of garbage and the availability of waste processing facilities. Waste processing facilities were discovered as a result of waste management research. According to the findings, Jababeka Smart Township Super Apps invites the community and students to participate in and contribute to this application. According to waste management studies, there is a need for timely and accurate information about the presence of garbage and the availability of waste processing facilities. Garbage processing and waste management facilities can be visited by the general public, according to waste management studies. The trash management app on display at Jababeka Smart Township Super Apps will assist the community in garbage management while also allowing them to participate in waste management. President University's flagship tourism development research will provide information on tourist locations and all accessible tourist facilities, as well as accessibility to these tourist attractions. Furthermore, the need for information on the tourism industry might lead to the formation of tourism-related start-ups.

Abstract

This case-study articulates the findings and implications of Hackathon which was held as a part of digital literacy training program for the implementation of a Smart City digital platform called “Jababeka Smart Township Super-App”. Firstly, the case-study explores the outputs of the Hackathon and its role as an open innovation mechanism. Secondly, it aims to explore the impact of hackathon on raising the awareness as well as the participants’ willingness to be involved and accept the Smart City implementation. Narrative analysis is employed for the first research objective and descriptive analysis employed for the second research objective where 8 participants are interviewed to provide their accounts on Hackathon and analyzed based on a technology acceptance model (TAM) framework, identifying the Perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) as the indicators of positive attitude and acceptance towards Smart City implementation. The results indicate that the Super-App as an integrated digital platform can be effectively implemented based on the Open Innovation approach resulting in 30+ community-developed applications, especially as it encourages the community to be the key players in the creation of multi-sided digital platform startups. Finally, Hackathon is found to be a useful mechanism in raising the level of understanding on the concept of Smart City and increase the stakeholders’ acceptance for Smart City implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that the SME onwers in Tanjung Lesung need to promote their products through e-commerce. This study employed a quantitative method, presenting 23 questions anticipated to provide insight into the research problem. This study purposively selected 300 samples of small and medium-sized business owners who use the internet to sell their products. The results show that the management relationship between productivity and actual behavior revealed a favorable relationship between perceived usefulness and actual behavior, but a negative relationship between external pressure on actual behavior and organizational support for actual behavior. The study's limitations included the impact of internet usage via e-commerce on small and medium-sized businesses. Keywords: Actual Behavior, External Pressure, Managerial Productivity, Organizational Support, Perceived Usefulness

Abstract

Tanjung Jaya Village as one of the villages in Panimbang Regency provides a number of very high business potentials. promising. However, this business opportunity has not been fully utilized by the people of Tanjung Jaya and MSME actors. Therefore, this program aims to develop strategies regarding human resources, marketing, bookkeeping, and MSME products in a professional and independent manner to support income and improve the welfare of the people in Tanjung Jaya Village. The implementation method used is interviews, and seminars for MSME actors. First of all, the researcher asked MSME actors in Tanjung Jaya Village about the concept of managing a business professionally, innovatively, creatively and independently. Next, researchers will score and triangulate the results of interviews with the Tanjung Jaya community to carry out MSME development strategies. With the implementation of these activities, it has a positive impact on the people of Tanjung Jaya Village to increase business potential, especially in the MSME sector. In the end, this program can support income and improve the welfare of the people of Tanjung Jaya Village and also contribute to increasing economic growth in Panimbang Regency.

Abstract

This study examines the emerging concept of leaderpreneurship in higher education through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. By analysing 162 documents from 128 sources published between 2014 and 2024, this research explores the convergence of leadership and entrepreneurship in academic settings. The findings indicate significant growth in leaderpreneurship research, with an annual increase of 4.14%, highlighting distinct patterns in both theoretical development and practical implementation. Key themes identified in the analysis include entrepreneurial leadership development, institutional transformation, and ecosystem building within higher education contexts.

Abstract

Previous research and practitioners are recognizing the common understanding business doing collaboration; they lack on certain capabilities to be successful in a certain area, cover the weakness and strengthen their competitive advantage, and also reduce transaction costs. This research will enhance the understanding of the effective supply chain collaboration resource on firm performance by the information from the logistic service provider (LSP) company using resource complimentary, supply chain risk, and relational stability and its impact on enhance the collaboration advantage. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was utilized to examine the data analysis; 151 with export and import service providers’ logistic companies in Indonesia. The result indicates that partner selection has an important effect on the formation of supply chain collaboration, while the supply chain risk partner did not affect the firm performance and was not a selection criterion among logistic service providers. Relational stability has the highest influence to supply chain collaboration. Additionally, supply chain collaboration has a dominant influence on the collaborative advantage when compared to non-financial company performance.
