This study aims to identify and obtain information about the effectiveness of the implementation of online lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic at Higher Education Institutions, especially President University. Data was collected by looking at the results of student satisfaction assessments of lecturers during the teaching and learning process, namely in the PUIS (President University Information System) system in the "Lecturing Evaluation" menu. The research used quantitative methods and data analysis used SPSS version 21 software. After the data were analyzed, the researchers conducted online interviews with 12 (twelve) lecturers. The results of this study are that there is a significant difference in satisfaction between offline and online lectures, namely, when offline class students can get knowledge directly without any technical constraints and face-to-face teaching and learning process there are values that can be taken such as the process of social, cultural, ethical maturity. and morals that can only be found in the area of education. In contrast to online lectures, apart from technical problems such as the unsupported internet, online classes also make students lose motivation to study because no chemistry can be built. There are different characteristics in each faculty, this is a challenge for lecturers to explore their abilities and provide new knowledge, and of course, it can be well accepted by students. Online classes will run more effectively if both lecturers and students live it with a sense of responsibility.

Study this aim is to know how big an influence there is a free lunch to interest buy repeat consumers at Mitra Sedekah Store. Data were collected with a method spread questionnaire in the form of Google forms to consumers through Whatsapp Group and Facebook Mitra Sedekah account, successful data was collected from as many as 214 respondents. The method used is quantitative, then data analysis using SPSS version 26 software with assumption test classic namely normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and testing hypothesis in a manner partial (t). Research results are No there is a significant influence there is a free lunch to interest buy repeat consumers at Mitra Sedekah Store. Not all shops give matter like that, consumers consider matter thereby unique and interesting. Then the results study descriptive concluded that products in Mitra Sedekah Store quality, the choice of many and varied goods, and the price offered is also cheaper, as well as the services provided are friendly. Social programs carried out by Mitra Sedekah Store Enough help society in need, so become an attention magnet consumer, for shopping at the Mitra Sedekah Store.

This investigation examines the implementation of linguistic politeness in English as Foreign Language (EFL) instruction in Karawang, with particular emphasis on faculty-student interactions. Utilizing an ethnographic qualitative methodology, the research encompasses one faculty member and thirty-five, first-semester students. Data acquisition was conducted through non-participant classroom observations and semi-structured in-depth interviews. The findings demonstrate that the faculty member systematically implemented politeness strategies through indirect communication and face-threatening acts management. The incorporation of Sundanese cultural values in instruction was manifested in the utilization of address systems and modifications in communication approaches. The implementation of politeness significantly contributed to the enhancement of students' communicative competence and the establishment of a conducive learning environment. This research underscores the significance of integrating linguistic politeness and indigenous cultural values in EFL instruction to facilitate pedagogical effectiveness.

The purpose of this research is to identify the different forms of translanguaging utilized in general English classes at a university in Karawang, while also exploring the students' attitudes toward the use of translanguaging in the English language classroom. The primary research objective is centered on the types of translanguaging employed in the general English classes at a university. Furthermore, the study aims to ascertain the students' perceptions concerning the application of translanguaging in their general English language learning. This research employs a descriptive qualitative analysis as its methodological approach. The results revealed that a teacher used code-switching to assist students in understanding complex English language concepts. Additionally, the teacher frequently applied translation patterns in general English classes. As for students' perspectives, the findings suggest that the use of translanguaging can enhance their comprehension of the English language when presented by their teacher. Ultimately, this research argues that the implementation of translanguaging strategies by educators is particularly advantageous in augmenting students' comprehension of English language skills within the classroom setting.

Kineja sumber daya manusia memegang andil besar guna menentukan keberhasilan sebuah organisasi, termasuk lembaga pemerintah. Peneltian ini bermaksud guna menganalisis dampak lingkungan kerja dan tingkat kedisiplinan pada performa pegawai di Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Sebanyak 70 responden dipilih secara acak dari total 126 pegawai, menerapkan rumus Slovin. Pengumpulan data dijalankan melewati observasi beserta penyebaran kuesioner skala Likert. Temuan dari penelitian mengindikasikan bahwasanya secara terpisah, lingkungan kerja membawa dampak signifikan pada kinerja, dibuktikan melalui nilai t senilai 2.764 dan signifikansi 0.007. Demikian pula, kedisiplinan kerja juga menunjukkan dampak signifikan, melalui nilai t sebesar 2.691 dan signifikansi 0.009. Secara keseluruhan, kedua variabel ini berkontribusi signifikan pada peningkatan kinerja pegawai, seperti yang tercermin dari nilai F yakni 18.145 beserta signifikansi 0.000. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi lingkungan kerja yang nyaman beserta tingkat disiplin yang tinggi merupakan kunci dalam mengoptimalkan produktivitas aparatur.

Pengembangan desa wisata merupakan salah satu strategi penting dalam meningkatkan daya tarik pariwisata daerah sekaligus memberdayakan masyarakat lokal. Desa Wisata Karawang memiliki potensi wisata alam dan budaya yang cukup besar, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam hal kesiapan sumber daya manusia, terutama kemampuan berbahasa Inggris sebagai salah satu kompetensi utama seorang pemandu wisata (tour guide). Penguasaan bahasa Inggris menjadi krusial karena bahasa ini berfungsi sebagai sarana komunikasi internasional yang memungkinkan masyarakat lokal memperkenalkan potensi wisata, budaya, dan kearifan lokal kepada wisatawan mancanegara secara efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris masyarakat Desa Wisata Karawang agar mampu menjalankan peran sebagai tour guide secara profesional. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan intensif bahasa Inggris pariwisata, praktik komunikasi langsung melalui simulasi pemanduan wisata, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk membangun kepercayaan diri peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam penguasaan kosakata, kemampuan berbicara, serta sikap percaya diri peserta saat memandu wisatawan. Melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat desa mulai menunjukkan kesiapan untuk menjadi pelaku utama dalam pengelolaan pariwisata lokal secara berkelanjutan. Program ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal untuk menciptakan pemandu wisata lokal yang komunikatif, profesional, dan mampu meningkatkan citra positif Karawang sebagai destinasi wisata yang kompetitif di tingkat nasional maupun internasional.

Student mobility through student exchange programs plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of higher education, yet participation among students from non-metropolitan universities remains relatively low. This study aims to analyze the motivational factors that encourage students at Buana Perjuangan University Karawang to participate in the student exchange program within the framework of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. Five variables were examined: academic experience, skill enhancement, career opportunities, personal development, and cultural exchange. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 140 students through an online questionnaire and analyzed with Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) using SPSS 21. The findings reveal that all five variables converge into a single dominant construct, with a KMO value of 0.903, factor loadings above 0.80, and variance explained of 78.64%. This finding highlights that students’ motivation in non-metropolitan contexts tends to be holistic rather than fragmented, distinguishing it from prior studies conducted in metropolitan settings. The results provide new insights into the integrated nature of student motivation and offer practical implications for universities in formulating strategies to enhance participation in the student exchange program.

This study aims to examine the results of the function area and many functional thoughts to the performance of the workforce at PT. Bhineka held a Karya. The research method used is a quantitative approach using census procedures with all populations as respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing a Google Form-based questionnaire distributed with WhatsApp groups by obtaining 100 respondents with the full number of PT. Diversity of Works. The research instrument has been tested for legality and reliability to ensure the reliability of the data. Data analysis used t-test, F test, and multiple linear regression. A determination coefficient (Adjusted R Square) of 0.692 indicates that 69.2% of the variation in labor performance can be explained by functional areas as well as many functional minds, while the remaining 30.8% are influenced by other factors not accounted for in this study model. The results of the study tell that the functional environment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, while many functional thoughts have a negative and important influence on the performance of the workforce, in a simultaneous way, the work environment and many work thoughts affect the performance of the workforce.

Investigating and evaluating the effects of work discipline and motivation on employee performance at Karawang Regency's Department of Manpower and Transmigration is the aim of this study. The study was prompted by the urgent need to address the issue of low staff productivity. The methodology used is a descriptive research with a quantitative experimental approach. The saturation sampling technique, which uses the entire population as the sample, was used to select the 100 respondents in total. Data was collected by questionnaires, and the results were analyzed using descriptive interpretation and multiple linear regression tests in SPSS version 25. Based on the validity test results, 15 items for each variable motivation, work discipline, and employee performance were declared valid, and all items were found to be reliable. The data analysis results indicated that the significance values for motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) were both 0.000. Since these values are less than 0.05, it can be concluded that both factors have a considerable effect on employee performance. These findings support the notion that more employee motivation and discipline translate into improved performance. With the best motivation and discipline, the Department of Manpower and Transmigration at Karawang Regency will be more productive.

This study intends to examine the influence of Work-Life Balance (X1) and Motivation (X2) on Academic Performance (Y) with a quantitative approach utilizing multiple regression analysis methods. The research sample consisted of 97 respondents through the purposive sampling method. The results of the research prove that Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Academic Performance with a t-point of 4.673, a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05), and a regression coefficient (Beta) of 0.424. In addition, Motivation also has a positive and significant effect on Academic Performance with a t-point of 4.125, a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05), and a regression coefficient (Beta) of 0.374. Simultaneously, Work-Life Balance and Motivation can explain 51.2% variation in Academic Performance with an R Square point of 0.512 and a significant F test result (sig. 0.000). These findings confirm that work-life balance and academic life as well as optimal motivation play an important role in improving academic performance. The implications of this research prove its contribution to the development of theories regarding factors that affect academic performance and become a recommendation for educational institutions and the world of work in creating an environment that supports individual productivity and well-being.
