Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the impact of technology on marketing practices, from the adoption stage to the creation of customer experience, through a bibliometric approach. Using 133 articles published between 2000 and 2024 obtained from Scopus.com database, the study compiled a comprehensive literature analysis to identify key trends, dominant research themes, and gaps in the literature. The article selection process was carried out using the PRISMA method with keywords such as "technology adoption," "digital marketing," and "customer experience,". The bibliometric process was carried out using bibliometric analysis tools such as Biblioshiny-R. The results showed that technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) have a significant role in improving personalization and marketing efficiency, while creating a more immersive and satisfying customer experience. The study identified patterns of author networks, leading journals, as well as research trends that focus on the integration of technology in customer experience design. These findings make a theoretical contribution by strengthening the understanding of the relationship between technology adoption and customer experience, as well as practical implications for companies in developing technology-based marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study investigated how exposure to negative information influenced consumer trust and repurchase intention within Indonesia’s traditional medicine market. By integrating the Theory of Planned Behavior with Trust Deterioration Models, the research addressed a critical gap concerning the impact of adverse digital narratives on culturally embedded health products. A quantitative, cross-sectional design was employed using an online survey that collected 207 valid responses from traditional medicine users across Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Descriptive analysis and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate both measurement and structural models. Results showed that negative information significantly undermined trust in traditional medicine, which in turn reduced consumers’ intention to repurchase. The strongest effects emerged from the perceived credibility and virality of negative news, which heightened risk perception and skepticism toward product quality, brand integrity, and regulatory oversight. Trust was found to partially mediate the relationship between negative information and repurchase intention, highlighting its central role as both a psychological enabler and a vulnerability point in consumer behavior. These findings provided substantial implications for producers, regulators, and marketers in preserving consumer confidence, suggesting the urgent need for reputation management strategies and transparent communication to counteract digital skepticism in emerging markets.

Abstract

This study explored the evolution of scholarly research addressing ethical concerns related to artificial intelligence (AI) within academic settings. Despite the growing use of AI technologies in higher education—ranging from instructional tools to administrative applications—limited empirical work has systematically examined how ethical issues have been conceptualized and discussed. A bibliometric analysis was conducted to address this gap, using data extracted from the Scopus database and 107 documents covering 2015 and 2025. The study employed the PRISMA method for data screening. Bibliometric mapping was performed using Biblioshiny-R, which enabled comprehensive visualization through co-occurrence networks, thematic maps, and trend analyses. The findings revealed a significant increase in scholarly output and interdisciplinary collaboration on AI ethics in academia. Key themes included algorithmic bias, transparency, accountability, fairness, and responsible innovation. Notably, the research highlighted a progressive shift from technical concerns toward more socially grounded issues such as inclusivity, data governance, and digital justice.  The study identified core publications shaping the field and suggested that ethical AI in education remains an emerging but critical area for future inquiry. These findings provide a robust foundation for developing evidence-based, globally relevant policy frameworks that promote fair, transparent, and accountable AI integration in higher education.

Abstract

This study aimed to track the digital transformation journey through the lens of AI adoption in higher education from 2010 to 2025. Using a data-based bibliometric method from Scopus, this study identified the dominant theories used in AI adoption intention studies and conceptual structures. The literature selection process was carried out systematically using the PRISMA method to ensure transparency and accuracy in document selection. Data analysis used bibliometric techniques to analyse the research landscape quantitatively and was conducted using VosViewer Software. The analysis results show that research on AI adoption intention has experienced an annual growth of 34.15%, with most publications using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approaches. Network visualisation revealed fragmentation in this research, where several clusters of theories develop separately without strong integration. Overlay visualisation showed a shift from technology acceptance model-based studies to exploration of ethical impacts, algorithm transparency, and AI regulation in higher education. Density visualisation confirmed that although technical factors have been widely studied, AI's social and policy aspects are still underexplored. This research provides a more comprehensive conceptual mapping and identifies research gaps that future studies can fill.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of financial literacy, innovation, and profitability on the performance of new ventures, focusing on the mediating role of capital structure. Addressing a sample of 287 new ventures in East Java, Indonesia, this study employed the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach to analyze the relationships among key constructs. The findings revealed that innovation and profitability significantly influenced capital structure, which had a strong positive effect on firm performance.  The innovation had a direct impact on performance, while financial literacy and profitability did not show significant direct effects. Among the indirect effects, only innovation had a significant impact on performance through capital structure, reinforcing its strategic importance. The results of this study suggest that innovation, more than financial acumen or short-term profitability, plays a central role in shaping financial strategies that enhance new venture outcomes. The findings contributed to the entrepreneurial and financial management literature by integrating financial and non-financial competencies into a comprehensive model of entrepreneurial and financial management. This study also provided policymakers, educators, and practitioners with practical insights on how to strengthen the sustainability of new ventures through targeted innovation support and strategic financial structuring.
