The simultaneous test confirms that all three independent variables together have a significant impact on stock prices with an F-statistic value of 1258.590 and a significance level of 0.000. These findings indicate that good management of liquidity, dividend policies, and profitability is crucial for increasing stock prices and attracting investor interest.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of two financial parameters - Price Earning Ratio (PER) and Earnings per Share (EPS) - on stock returns of transportation and logistics companies listed on the IDX. Both metrics are fundamental analysis tools that help investors evaluate the potential and value of a company's stock. The selection of the transportation and logistics sector is based on its significance in driving the national economy and distribution, although this sector is also vulnerable to external pressures that can impact its financial performance. A quantitative approach through multiple linear regression is applied in this research, using historical data in the form of financial reports and stock price movements from transportation and logistics issuers on the IDX. In the research model, PER and EPS act as independent variables, while stock returns are the dependent variables. The analysis reveals that both parameters have a significant impact on stock returns, with EPS showing a more dominant positive influence than PER. This suggests that earnings per share plays a greater role in determining the level of stock returns in this sector. The results of this study provide valuable insights for capital market players in making investment decisions based on financial indicators. This study also contributes to the development of knowledge related to fundamental factors that influence stock returns, while providing references for investment strategies in the transportation and logistics sector of the IDX.

Abstract

Evaluation of the financial performance of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk for the period 2020-2022 was carried out through a study with quantitative methods. The data source comes from annual reports available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Based on the calculation of profitability ratios (ROE, ROA, and NPM), it appears that the optimization of the use of equity, assets, and sales for profit is still not optimal. In terms of liquidity, although the current ratio and quick ratio are still below industry standards, the cash ratio indicates the effectiveness of cash management in maintaining short-term liquidity. Solvency analysis through DER and DAR reveals that the company still relies significantly on debt financing for operational activities, potentially increasing financial risk. It can be concluded that despite facing constraints in profitability and solvency, the company is able to maintain its short-term liquidity condition well.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Regional Original Income (PAD) on the growth of regional spending in Medan City during the 2019-2023 period. Regional development requires sufficient financing, and DAU and PAD are the two main sources of income which are very influential in regional financial planning. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative analysis with econometric models. Multiple linear regression tests were carried out to analyze the relationship between DAU, PAD and regional expenditure, after going through classic assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests. The research results show that although DAU and PAD contribute to regional spending, statistically their influence is not significant at the 95% confidence level. The regression model used has an R-square of 0.897, which shows that 89.7% of the variability in regional spending can be explained by independent variables. This research provides recommendations for designing fiscal policies that are more efficient in managing regional income sources to support sustainable development in Medan City.

Abstract

Regional financial management is the key to good governance, especially in regional autonomy that gives great authority to local governments, with high demands for accountability and transparency. The audit opinion of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) assesses the fairness of financial reports based on accounting principles. This study examines the influence of audit opinions on the financial management of Medan City, which for four consecutive years has received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP). Although it shows the quality of reporting, cases such as the Pocong Lamp and the ceramic road indicate budget inefficiency. With a Regional Financial Independence Ratio (RKD) of 41.38%, Medan City is still highly dependent on central transfers, reflecting weak fiscal autonomy. The existence of a problematic budget of 1.32% of PAD emphasizes the need for improvement. This study is expected to support the improvement of accountable, transparent, and community welfare-oriented financial management.

Abstract

Financial performance measurement is very necessary to assess regional government accountability in financial management. Accountability is not only about the ability to demonstrate the use of public money, but also includes the ability to prove that such use was carried out efficiently, effectively and economically. Currently, the Medan City Government is facing problems related to the percentage of PAD achieved from 2020 to 2023. This research aims to analyze the financial performance of the City of Medan using Regional Financial Independence Ratio Analysis, PAD Effectiveness Ratio, PAD Efficiency Ratio, Degree of Decentralization Ratio, Growth Ratio, and Conformity Ratio in the 2020-2023 period. The method used is quantitative descriptive, namely calculating financial data obtained to solve problems by analyzing various ratios. The findings of this research show that the financial performance of the Medan City Government is quite good in terms of independence, in the "delegative" category, but the effectiveness ratio and efficiency ratio aspects require more attention because the average ratio results show the less effective and less efficient categories. In terms of the degree of decentralization, the results are in the "medium" category, where PAD makes a fairly good contribution to regional income in the Medan City Government. The crowd ratio shows that the percentage of APBD used for operational expenditure is higher, namely 76.23% compared to capital expenditure which is only 23.77%. Regional income and expenditure in the Medan City Government shows a decrease and increase every year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the financial performance of infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Using a quantitative method with a comparative approach, this study measures financial ratios such as liquidity (Current Ratio, Quick Ratio), solvency (Debt to Equity Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio), and profitability (Net Profit Margin) in the period before (2019) and during the pandemic (2020). Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test to identify significant changes. The results showed a significant decrease in average profitability of 30.52 points (p = 0.000), reflecting the major challenges in maintaining net profit during the pandemic. Liquidity increased significantly with an average increase of 158.37 points (p = 0.000), indicating excess current assets due to reduced project activities. However, solvency did not change significantly with a p value of 0.193, indicating stability in the company's funding structure. This study confirms the complex impact of the pandemic on the infrastructure sector, where liquidity increases but profitability decreases, while solvency remains stable. These results provide an empirical basis for formulating policies that support financial management and sustainability of the infrastructure sector.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the preparation of financial reports by broiler chicken farms based on their compliance with accounting principles and to explain their sources of capital and financial performance. The object of this study is Muhtar Keliat's broiler chicken farm, which operated from February to November 2024. This is a descriptive quantitative study using a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through documentation and analysis of financial reports. The results indicate that the financial reports have been prepared in a simple manner but do not fully comply with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The business capital is entirely sourced from the owner, with no loans or liabilities. Profit and asset information have been recorded, but cash flow statements and notes to the financial statements have not been included. Challenges encountered in preparing the reports include a lack of accounting understanding and the lack of ongoing guidance in preparing standard-compliant financial reports. This impacts business owners' limited ability to use financial reports as a basis for optimal decision-making.
