The purpose of this study is to find out the potential application of the concept of aerotropolis through the principles of aerotropolis development, then from these results it can be approved the direction of further development. This research uses comparative, spatial, and AHP analysis methods. Based on the results of the analysis, from several aerotropilis planning principles related to the four principles that are not appropriate, namely (1) Principles of spatial planning, (2) Principles of land use, (3) Principles for the main designation in the area, (4) Principles for the provision of business services. To make Sultan Hasanuddin airport become an aerotropolis, it is necessary to develop a system to fight the commercial dominant, as well as provide business areas and make the airport area the center of activity or the same as the city center.

Abstract

Increased population growth follows changes in land use, resulting in a higher risk of groundwater pollution. Such conditions can affect groundwater pollution as a source of clean water. The purpose of this study was to identify patterns of distribution of groundwater pollution based on geographic information systems in Mariso District. Therefore, Mariso District is determined to be a research location to find out the spread of groundwater pollution. This aims to identify patterns of distribution of groundwater pollution based on geographic information systems in Mariso District. Data use d in this study are primary data from observation, while secondary data obtained through related regulation, literature, and previous research. The analysis was carried out through map overlay techniques in the Arcgis application of the predetermined variables. Several factors that are thought to influence groundwater quality include pollutant sources, the distance of pollutant sources with the location of wells which have an impact on the potential for diarrheal disease in the study site. The results showed that 26% of septic tanks <10 meters away from wells included Lette, Mattoanging, Bontorannu and Kunjungmae village. This has to do with the condition of the slums which are spread over several in Mariso Subdistrict. The pattern of pollution of ground water distribution that shows the red zone is the Bontorannu Village, Panambungan Village and Kunjungmae Village which have the potential to affect the surrounding villages.

Abstract

South Sulawesi Province Regional Spatial Plan 2009-2029 establishes Barru Regency as one of the strategic areas in the agropolitan area, while the 2011-2031 Barru Regional Spatial Plan establishes a strategic area in the agropolitan area in Barru and Pujananting Districts, in implementing the agropolitan concept first determine the growth center village then carried out an assessment based on Practical Guidelines for Identifying the Location of Selected Areas Village Development Centers by the Directorate of Settlement Development, Directorate General of Ciptakarya, Ministry of Public Works (2006) then the results of the assessment are used as a reference in determining direction for developing growth center villages with the highest score. The results of this study indicate that there is no village included in the classification of growth center villages only included in the classification of potential village growth center villages so that the selected village is the village with the highest score, In Barru Subdistrict the highest score is Tompo Village while Pujananting Village is Bulo Village -Bulo. Direction to develop Tompo Village Barru District and Bulo-Bulo Village Pujananting District in order to be classified as a growth center village, the aspects that need to be developed are village classification, clean water facilities, lighting facilities, dominant number of houses, management of agricultural activities, number of factories, potential economic sectors, market facilities, credit facilities, environmental sanitation facilities (waste), health facilities, recreational facilities, and transportation facilities.

Abstract

The development of settlements in urban areas is inseparable from the rapid rate of growth of urban population. Maradekaya Kelurahan is one of 143 urban villages in Makassar City which is part of the slum area with a moderate category. (SK Slum Mayor of Makassar City, 2015). Water Sensitive Urban Design is a land planning concept and engineering approach that integrates urban water cycles, including rainwater, groundwater and wastewater and clean water management into urban designs to minimize environmental damage and increase aesthetic and recreational appeal. This concept is considered capable of being one of the solutions in handling slums in Maradekaya Kelurahan by utilizing appropriate measures against existing components. The purpose of this study is to identify opportunities for the application of the concept of Water Sensitive Urban Design in the study area and produce concept directions as an evaluation of slums. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods of existing WSUD components in Maradekaya Kelurahan. Based on the results of the study, found a variety of conditions varying from the two components of the Water Sensitive Urban Design starting from the conditions, extent, characteristics, potential, problems and availability of a variety of each component, this is used as an introduction to the analysis based on the characteristics of the components owned, policies and guidelines used the researcher. This research resulted in the direction of the concept of applying Water Sensitive Urban Design based on two components in Maradekaya Village to reduce the growth of slums in Makassar City.

The analytical technique used is SWOT analysis and distribution. Determination of the sample in this study was carried out using the Non-Probability Sampling technique with the Quota Sampling technique. This study took 5 samples from coffee shops and 5 samples from kafes in each district. Based on the results of the research, the distribution of coffee beans in the majority of kafes or coffee shops comes from the Tana Toraja, Enrekang, and coffee shops in Makassar. The distribution flow of coffee beans is divided into two patterns with the difference in price margins between the two distribution patterns of 50,000. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, strategic ideas emerged, namely utilizing the development of marketing networks, improving service quality, increasing promotional and advertising activities, setting prices to face competition, increasing the use of technology, and suppressing any possible leakage of operational costs.
