Abstract

The increase in bicycle users during the pandemic by school age in Pekanbaru increased quite significantly, this has become the basis for planning the implementation of Safe Routes to School (SRTS) for cyclists. This planning was carried out to follow up on the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. PM 16 of 2016 as an effort to increase the use of bicycles to school by providing infrastructure that provides safe and secure rights for its users. This research was conducted with the aim of providing directions for Safe and SRTS for cyclists in Pekanbaru. Secondary data collection is in the form of a literature study by examining the factors that influence determining safe and safe bicycle routes to school and reviewing SRTS planning guidelines for cyclists. Primary data was obtained from observations and documentation to identify the existing condition of the factors that influence route determination on the case study roads. This research was conducted from March to August 2021, located in Pekanbaru. The analysis used is a systematic review, quantitative, spatial, descriptive qualitative, and MKJI. Based on the results of the Systematic Review, several dominant variables influence the determination of safe and safe bicycle routes to school, namely traffic volume, traffic speed, points of conflict/intersection and physical condition of the road. with the RASS recommendation directives for cyclists in Pekanbaru City located on Jl. General Soedirman - Jl. Kaharuddin Nst – Jl. Soekarno-Hatta – Jl. Arifin Ahmad – Jl. HR. Soebrantas – Jl. Riau – Jl. Yos Soedarso – Jl. Pope – Jl. nineg.

Abstract

Slum is one of the many problems in cities, including Makassar. So that the government has set the handling of housing and slum settlements as a national target. Therefore, Ditjen Cipta Karya initiated the construction of a collaboration platform between the Regional Government, Provincial Government, Central Government, where the Regional Government is the coordinator to create livable settlements through the Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) program. Lette itself is one of the areas that has received slum settlements for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019 by KOTAKU. This study aims to assess KOTAKU in handling slums in Lette and KOTAKU's direction in handling slum settlements in Lette. This research uses descriptive analysis method using qualitative and quantitative analysis. This research was conducted from September 2020 to July 2021. The results showed that the KOTAKU Program in handling slum settlements in Lette was quite successful in achieving its goals (quite effective), not successful in the efforts carried out (inefficient) during program implementation, quite successful in the level of benefit/impact (adequacy) in implementation. program, quite successful in public perception (responsiveness) during program implementation and quite successful in accuracy. There are 2 directions to the KOTAKU Program in handling slum settlements in Lette, first, forming a budget plan for handling and solving problems regarding slum settlements that are in accordance with the needs of the local community so that slum settlements are narrower and low income people is reduced and last optimizing working groups so that the community is actively involved in handling.

Abstract

Tamalanrea Indah Village is one of the areas that has been designated as a flood-prone area based on data from the RTRW of Makassar City in 2015-2034. The research aims to determine the physical characteristics of the area, the factors that cause flooding, and formulate prevention of flood hazards. Data was collected by using observation, questionnaire, interview and literature study techniques. This research is included in a quantitative qualitative descriptive study conducted. The data collection method was carried out primarily through surveys, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Secondary data obtained from literature studies and visits to institutions. The analytical technique used in this research is spatial analysis (overlay) to identify the physical condition of the area at the research location. Then to determine the factors causing flooding at the research site using AHP analysis with the help of qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis and hydrological analysis to determine the factors causing flooding. The results of this study are recommendations for preventing flood hazards in Hamzy BTN. The research was carried out as an effort to avoid flooding in the Makassar City sub-urban, especially in Hamzy BTN, Tamalanrea Indah Village, Tamalanrea.

Abstract

The Somba Opu Fort Cultural Tourism Area is one of the Provincial Strategic Areas according to Regional Regulation Number 09 of 2009-2029 concerning the RTRW of South Sulawesi Province. The existence of settlements that grow around the area that is irregular and violates land use, as well as social activities of residential communities that do not support tourism activities in the Somba Opu Fort area. The Somba Opu Fort area is one of the Provincial Strategic Areas according to Regional Regulation Number 09 of 2009-2029 concerning the RTRW of South Sulawesi Province because it has a very important influence within the district on the economy, social, culture, and/or environment. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to identify the condition of settlements in the Somba Opu Fort area with eco-settlements indicators and recommend directions for revitalizing the residential environment in the Somba Opu Fort area with an eco-settlements approach. The analytical technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis, and descriptive comparative analysis. The results of the analysis will later be expected to determine the condition of settlements with existing aspects so as to achieve the right direction as a reference for revitalization according to the concept of eco-settlements in settlements in the Fort Somba Opu area later.
