Abstract

Abstrak Organisasi profesi yang berperan besar dalam pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan di rumah sakit adalah keperawatan yang juga berpotensi mengalami konflik. Konflik mengakibatkan kerugian diantaranya stres kerja pada perawat pelaksana. Manajemen konflik merupakan prioritas utama kepala ruangan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh gaya manajemen konflik integrating dan obliging dalam mengurangi stres kerja perawat pelaksana. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah perawat pelaksana di RS Imelda Pekerja Indonesia dan RS Martha Friska dimana teknik pengambilan sampel adalah simple random sampling. Jumlah responden sebanyak 105 orang perawat pelaksana. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner yang dianalisis secara bivariat dengan menggunakan program komputer. Hasil penelitian: 1) terdapat pengaruh gaya manajemen konflik integrating terhadap stres kerja perawat pelaksana (p = <0,001;PR=1,28 95%CI 1,174-1,402), dan 2) terdapat pengaruh gaya manajemen konflik obliging terhadap stress kerja perawat pelaksana (p=<0,001;PR = 1,20 95%CI 1,124-1,295. Gaya manajemen konflik integrating dan obliging  kepala ruangan berpengaruh dalam mengurangi stres kerja perawat pelaksana. Kata Kunci: Integrating, Obliging, Stres Kerja Perawat Abstract Professional organizations that play a major role in the implementation of nursing care in hospitals are nursing that also has the potential to experience conflict. Conflicts result in losses including work stress on implementing nurses. Conflict management is the chief priority of the nurse manager to overcome this.To identify the influence of integrating and obliging conflict management styles in reducing the work stress of implementing nurses. This research is quantitative with cross sectional research design. The study population was implementing nurses at the Indonesian Hospital Imelda Worker and Martha Friska Hospital where the sampling technique was simple random sampling. The number of respondents was 105 implementing nurses. The instrument used was a questionnaire that was analyzed bivariately using a computer program.The results of the study were 1) there was an influence of integrating conflict management style on the work stress of implementing nurses (p=<0.001; PR=1.28 95% CI 1.174-1,402), and 2) there was an influence of obliging conflict management style on nurses work stress executor (p=<0.001; PR=1.20 95% CI 1.124-1.295). Abstract

Patient safety is the avoidance, prevention and repair of unexpected events and to overcome injuries from the health care process. This implementation is influenced by one factor only function manejemen head space. The purpose of this study is to determine the Relationship Function Manager Head Room With Application Patient Safety In Inpatient Room RSUD Dr.Pirngadi Medan City 2018. The type of this research is quantitative with correlation analytic design using cross sectional approach. The population of this study is all nurses who work in inpatient wards RSUD Dr.Pirngadi Medan as many as 249 people. Sampling technique of this research is Accidental Sampling as many as 50 people. The statistical test in this study used chi-square. Result of research indicate there is Relationship Function of Head of Room Management with Application of Patient Safety (P = 0,024, p <0,05). And it can be concluded that the better the management function of the head of space then the implementation of patient safety the better.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made many parties seek to participate in overcoming the spread of both the government and all levels of society. One of the efforts made is by issuing an online learning policy to prevent the spread of Covid-19 through the Minister of Education and Culture Circular No. 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020. This condition requires lecturers to carry out the process online. All literature indicates that not all students will be successful in online learning, this is due to differences in learning environment factors and student characteristics. One of the successes in learning is related to the motivation of students. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference between student learning motivation and online and face-to-face learning. The research method is quantitative with a comparative research type with a population of 216 people. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling technique with a total sample of 140 people. Chi-Square statistical test. The results show that there is a comparison of student learning motivation between online and face-to-face learning, the p value = 0.008 < 0.05. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a comparison of the learning motivation of undergraduate nursing students between online and face-to-face learning at Sari Mutiara University Indonesia.

Abstract

Nurses are one of the most important professions in providing services in hospitals, therefore nurses must be able to display optimal performance. Many things can affect nurse performance including conflict and work motivation. Head nurses is demanded to be able to manage conflicts that will have an impact on the work motivation of implementing nurses in providing nursing care in hospitals. This type of research uses quantitative research methods with cross sectional research design that is collecting data on the implementation of conflict management of head nurse and the work motivation of implementing nurses used in the same time and measured once. Sampling in this study used simple random sampling in which there were 59 nurses involved. Bivariate analysis uses chi-square statistical tests to determine the relationship between the implementation of conflict management of head nurse that is good, enough, and less with the nurses’ work motivation that strong, medium and weak. The results showed that the majority of conflict management of head nurse was 54.2% (enough) and the majority of nurses' work motivation was 57.6% (medium). Chi square statistical test results indicate that there is an influence between the implementation of conflict management of head nuse on the nurses work motivation (p value = 0,000, α = 0.05). Management, communication and good cooperation between health service providers Improving skills in conflict in hospitals is an important thing that must be improved and carried out of head nurse. The hospital management is also expected to pay attention in terms of human resource development, especially conflict management, and optimize the implementation of programmatic conflict management that affects the nurses’ work motivation. Perawat merupakan salah satu profesi yang paling berperan penting dalam memberikan pelayanan dirumah sakit, oleh karena itu perawat harus mampu menampilkan kinerja yang optimal. Banyak hal yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja perawat termasuk adanya konflik dan motivasi kerja. Kepala ruangan dituntut dapat memanajemen konflik yang akan berdampak pada motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan di rumah sakit. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional yaitu melakukan pengumpulan data pelaksanaan manajemen konflik oleh kepala ruangan dan motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana yang digunakan dalam waktu yang sama dan diukur satu kali saja. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling dimana perawat pelaksana yang diikutsertakan berjumlah 59 orang. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistik chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pelaksanaan manajemen konflik oleh kepala ruangan yang baik, cukup, dan kurang dengan motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana yang kuat, sedang dan lemah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pelaksanaan manajemen konflik oleh kepala ruangan adalah cukup sebanyak 54,2% dan mayoritas motivasi kerja perawat adalah sedang sebanyak 57,6% di Rumah Sakit Martha Friska Medan. Hasil uji statistik chi square menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara pelaksanaan manajemen konflik oleh kepala ruangan pada motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana (p value = 0,000, α = 0,05). Meningkatkan keterampilan dalam memanajemen konflik, komunikasi dan kerjasama yang baik antar pemberi pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit untuk merupakan hal penting yang harus ditingkatkan dan dilakukan oleh kepala ruangan. Pihak manajemen rumah sakit juga diharapkan memberi perhatian dalam hal pengembangan SDM khususnya manajemen konflik, dan mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan manajemen konflik secara terprogram yang berpengaruh pada motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana.

Abstract

Nursing services are very important in hospitals and health institutions, so efforts are needed to improve health services and nursing services together to improve the quality of hospital services. One effort that needs to be done is to increase the Quality of Nursing Work Life (QNWL) in hospitals.Improving the quality of work life is carried out by means of a better way of working where employees and other members gain insight to improve the quality of work effectively so as to increase the productivity of nurses. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing work life and the productivity of nurses at Bethesda General Hospital Gunungsitoliin. The method in this research is descriptive correlation using cross sectional design. The population in this study were 43 nurses who worked at Bethesda General Hospital Gunungsitoli. The sample in this study were 43 nurses. Total sampling sampling technique. The tool used is a questionnaire sheet, the data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of the univariate analysis of the frequency distribution show that the majority of nurses with a high quality of nursing work life were 76.7%, and the frequency distribution of nurse productivity in the good category is 65.1%.So that the bivariate analysis show that there is a relationship between the quality of nursing work life and the productivity of nurses at Bethesda General Hospital Gunungsitoli (p value = 0.002). Suggestions from this study are expected to be input for nursing staff and hospitals to improve the quality of nursing work life in an effort to increase the productivity of nurses to improve the quality of health services that are better and quality and can be used as consideration for reference in further research. Abstrak Pelayanan keperawatan menjadi sangat penting di rumah sakit dan instansi kesehatan, sehingga perlu upaya peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan dan pelayanan keperawatan secara bersama-sama untuk peningkatan kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit. Salah satu upaya yang perlu dilakukan yaitu peningkatan quality of nursing work life (QNWL) di rumah sakit. Peningkatan kualitas kehidupan kerja dilakuakan dengan cara kerja yang lebih baik dimana karyawan serta anggota lainnya mendapatkan wawasan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kerja secara efektif sehingga meningkatkan produktivitas perawat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan quality of nursing work life dengan produktivitas perawat di RSU Bethesda Gunungsitoli. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif korelasi dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh perawat yang bekerja di RSU Bethesda Gunungsitoli sebanyak 43 perawat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 43 perawat. Teknik pengampilan sampel total sampling. Alat yang digunakan yaitu lembar kuesioner, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil analisa univariat distribusi frekuensi bahwa mayoritas perawat dengan quality of nursing work life tinggi yaitu sebanyak 76,7 %, dan distribusi frekuensi produktivitas perawat dengan kategori baik sebanyak 65,1%. Sehingga analisa bivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan antara hubungan quality of nursing work life dengan produktivitas perawat di RSU Bethesda Gunungsitoli (p value = 0,002). Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu diharapkan menjadi bahan masukan bagi tenaga keperawatan serta rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan quality of nursing work life dalam upaya meningkatkan produktivitas perawat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih baik dan bermutu serta dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk dijadikan referensi dalam penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Background: The Indonesian National Nurses Association (INNA) has a method and tool for staffing calculation-performance-oriented calculation based on information systemPurpose: To identify of satisfaction among hospital staff nurses on nurse staffing calculation-performance-oriented calculation based on  Indonesian National Nurses Association (INNA) on information systemMethod: The technique of determining the sample using the Cohen effect size (d) formula, the total sample is 30 nurses, divided by two groups, each group comprise 15 nurses  the as control group and intervention group 15. The pre-post test done for both groups. The training given to participants for two days and following by measured to identify of satisfaction among hospital staff nurses twice to control and intervention groups using a questionnaire.Results: The Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test and finding the data had abnormally distributed (p <0.05), and following by the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that all the participants showed an increase in nurse satisfaction on nurse staffing calculation-performance-oriented calculation based on  Indonesian National Nurses Association (INNA)Conclusion: There is a difference in the level of satisfaction between a control group and an intervention with a range of 4.66 points. Using nurse staffing calculation-performance-oriented calculation based on  Indonesian National Nurses Association (INNA) on information system, it applicable and reasonable to nurses to calculate nurse staffing in the hospital.

Abstract

Rawat inap (hospitalisasi)  merupakan situasi krisis yang dihadapi anak ketika anak dirawat di rumah sakit untuk memulihkan kesehatan anak dengan menjalani berbagai jenis perawatan seperti pemeriksaan kesehatan, pemasangan infus dan pemberian obat sampai anak dikatakan sembuh dan diperbolehkan pulang, hal ini dapat mengakibatkan ketakutan dan kecemasan bagi anak serta mempengaruhi perubahan psikologis anak.  Terapi bermain lilin adalah jenis permainan keterampilan bermain yang cocok untuk anak usia pra sekolah dan dapat memberikan kesempatan anak untuk berkreasi dengan imajinasinya sendiri, yang tujuannya untuk mengalihkan perhatian anak pada permainan sehingga anak tidak fokus. terlalu banyak pada kondisinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan lilin dan terapi musik terhadap kecemasan anak prasekolah yang menjalani rawat inap di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan one group pre and post test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia pra sekolah pada bulan Januari-Maret 2019 dengan rata-rata 69 pasien setiap bulannya dengan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 19 responden. penelitian ini menggunakan Paired t-test. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan tingkat kecemasan anak sebelum intervensi sebesar 39,32 dan setelah intervensi sebesar 34,37 yang menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan tingkat kecemasan anak pra sekolah setelah diberikan intervensi dengan nilai p = 0,000 (p<0,05). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan bermain lilin dan terapi musik terhadap kecemasan anak menjalani rawat inap di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan.

Abstract

Coronavirus is a virus that infects the respiratory system. Coronavirus is troubling the public with signs of fear and anxiety. Likewise, experienced by nurses who work in health services so that it needs to be given support to strengthen coping to keep treating patients without any difficulties. These community service activities are carried out using zooming and live streaming on YouTube to maintain the health protocol recommended by the government. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and motivation for nurses to strengthen coping or self-efficacy in carrying out activities in the health service. The results of these community service activities are expected to increase the motivation of 1,120 nurses in using positive and adaptive coping in their daily activities and in health services.

Abstract

Model Asuhan Keperawatan Profesional (MAKP) merupakan sebuah sistem yang meliputi struktur, proses, dan nilai professional yang mengatur pemberian asuhan keperawatan dan sebagai suatu model dalam praktik keperawatan professional di Rumah Sakit. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menambah  pengetahuan perawat dalam menerapkan metode asuhan keperawatan professional tim. Pelaksanaan metode kegiatan pertama sekali dengan penyampaian materi terkait bahan kajian yang perlu disampikan setelah itu melaksanakan roleplay model asuhan keperawatan professional tim. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah dilakukan sosialisasi dan praktek menunjukkan  80 % perawat             paham terkait penjelasan materi dan 95% perawat dapat mempraktekkan metode tim.

Abstract

Conflict management styles among nurse managers in general hospitals, Medan-Indonesia Background: Hospitals are required to improve the quality of health services so they can survive and thrive in the current era of national health insurance. Nurses are the most human resources in hospitals so they are required to have optimal performance. One of the factors that affect performance is conflict that causes work stress. Conflict management is expected to reduce the nurses’working stress.Purpose: To identify the influence of compromising and dominating conflict management styles to reduce the nurses’working stress.Method: A quantitative research with a correlative approach and cross sectional research design. The population was nurses at the Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Hospital and Martha Friska Hospital. Sampling using probability random sampling method with simple random sampling technique where the number of respondents was 105 nurses. The instrument used was a questionnaire containing 28 statements for conflict management style and 57 statements to measure the level of nurses’ working stress. Analyze data with bivariate analysis to see the influence of compromising and dominating conflict management styles to reduce the nurses’ working stress where the statistical test used is simple logistic regression (SLR) which is analyzed using a computer program.Results: Finding that there was an influence of compromising conflict management style to reduce the nurses’working stress (p = <0.001; PR = 1.33 95% CI 1.180-1.516), and there was an influence of conflict management style dominating to reduce the nurses’working stress (p = 0.012; PR = 1.10 95% CI 1.021-1.189)Conculsion: Compromising and dominating conflict management styles can reduce the nurses’working stress.Keywords: Conflict Management; Compromising; Dominating; Nurse Managers  Pendahuluan: Rumah sakit dituntut meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan sehingga mampu bertahan dan berkembang di era jaminan kesehatan nasional saat ini.
