Abstract

ABSTRAK Covid-19 merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh corona virus yang menjadikan pandemik di seluruh Negara. Covid 19 dapat dicegah dengan pengetahuan dan kepatuhan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit Covid-19. Pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi dan penyemprotan rumah ibadah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 Desember 2020 di Mesjid Al Iklas Amal Luhur. Pelaksanaan sosisalisasi pada masyarakat dan petugas mesjid yang belum optimal dalam upaya pelaksanaan pencegahan penularan covid-19. Media dan alat yang disediakan berupa leaflet dan alat penyemprotan, cairan desinfektan. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab kemudian evaluasi selanjutnya melakukan penyemprotan dengan menggunakan cairan desinfektan. Hasil pengabdian masyakat diperoleh bahwa pengetahuan responden sebelum dilakukan sosialisasi dan penyemprotan rumah ibadah diperoleh pengetahuan baik sebanyak 6 orang (40%), pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 6 orang (40%) dan pengetahuan kurang sebanyak 3 orang (20%). Sedangkan pengetahuan responden sesudah dilakukan sosialisasi dan penyemprotan rumah ibadah dalam upaya pencegahan penularan covid-19 diperoleh pengetahuan baik sebanyak 10 orang (67%), pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 5 orang (33%). Disarankan kepada masyarakat agar lebih meningkatkan upaya pencegahan penularan covid-19. Kata Kunci : pencegahan, penularan, covid-19, sosialisasi, penyemprotan.   ABSTRACT Covid-19 is a disease caused by the corona virus which has made a pandemic throughout the country. Covid 19 can be prevented with public knowledge and compliance in efforts to prevent Covid-19 disease. Socialization and spraying of places of worship were carried out on December 22, 2020 at the Al Iklas Amal Luhur Mosque. The implementation of socialization among the community and mosque officers has not been optimal in the efforts to prevent the spread of covid-19. The media and tools provided were in the form of leaflets and spraying equipment, disinfectant liquid. The method used is lecture, question and answer, then evaluation, then spraying using a disinfectant solution. The results of community service showed that the knowledge of respondents before the socialization and spraying of places of worship was obtained by 6 people (40%) good knowledge, 6 people (40%) sufficient knowledge and 3 (20%) insufficient knowledge. Whereas the knowledge of respondents after socialization and spraying of places of worship in an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, obtained good knowledge of 10 people (67%), sufficient knowledge of 5 people (33%). It is recommended for the public to further increase efforts to prevent Covid-19 transmission. Keywords: prevention, transmission, covid-19, socialization, spraying.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made many parties seek to participate in overcoming the spread of both the government and all levels of society. One of the efforts made is by issuing an online learning policy to prevent the spread of Covid-19 through the Minister of Education and Culture Circular No. 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020. This condition requires lecturers to carry out the process online. All literature indicates that not all students will be successful in online learning, this is due to differences in learning environment factors and student characteristics. One of the successes in learning is related to the motivation of students. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference between student learning motivation and online and face-to-face learning. The research method is quantitative with a comparative research type with a population of 216 people. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling technique with a total sample of 140 people. Chi-Square statistical test. The results show that there is a comparison of student learning motivation between online and face-to-face learning, the p value = 0.008 < 0.05. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a comparison of the learning motivation of undergraduate nursing students between online and face-to-face learning at Sari Mutiara University Indonesia.

Abstract

Corona virus is a virus that can infect the respiratory system. In most cases, this virus only causes mild respiratory infections, such as the flu. However, this virus can also cause severe respiratory infections, such as lung infections. This condition is a challenge for nurses in providing nursing care to Covid 19 patients. Occupational health and safety is very important to implement, especially in companies that deal directly with patients so that their employees feel safe, comfortable, healthy and safe in doing their jobs, so that work productivity can be achieved effectively. optimal. This study aims to determine the relationship between occupational health and safety and the performance of nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic at Sari Mutiara Hospital. The research design used was an analytic survey design with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all nurses at Sari Mutiara General Hospital Lubuk Pakam. The sample in this study amounted to 60  people obtained by using total sampling. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire sheet. The statistical test used was the chi square test. The results showed that most of the nurses had occupational health and safety in the good category at 71.7% and the performance of nurses was in the good category at 65%. Statistical test results obtained pvalue = 0.002. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between occupational health and safety and the performance of nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic at Sari Mutiara Hospital. It is recommended for nurses to continue to comply with health protocols while carrying out their duties in providing services to patients, especially Covid 19 patients.

Abstract

Introduction: Covid-19, a new disease, has been becoming a pandemic. One of the terms in patients exposed to this virus is Patient Under Surveillance. Currently,Covid-19  are under psychological pressure which is one of the factors that affect the patients’ immunity so they need adequate spiritual support from nurses. The purpose of this study is to identify the fulfillment of spiritual needs in improving the quality of life of Covid-19 patients under supervision in Medan. Methods: This type of research is a quantitative study with a correlative approach and a cross sectional study design to determine the fulfillment of the spiritual needs of patients in improving the quality of life of Covid-19 patients under supervision in Medan. Probability random sampling method is used as sampling with simple random sampling technique. There are 40 patients as respondents. A questionnaire contains 14 statements to fulfill the patients’ spiritual needs and 25 statements for the patients’ quality of life using a Likert scale as the instruments. Data analysis with bivariate analysis to identify the fulfillment of spiritual needs in improving the quality of life of Covid-19 patients under supervision in Medan. Chi Square is analyzed using a computer program and used as statistical test. Results: The results of the analysis showed the results of the bivariate test in this study show 19 patients with enough needs, 11 (57.9%) patients who have a good quality of life and 8 (42.1%) patients have a very good quality of life. Among 21 patients with good fulfillment of needs, there are 3 (14.3%) patients have a good quality of life and 18 (85.7%) patients have a very good quality of life. The results of the Chi Square test showed that there is a relationship between patients’ fulfillment and quality of life (p = 0.011). Conclusion: Fulfilling spiritual needs can improve the quality of life of Covid-19 patients under supervision.

Abstract

Coronavirus is a virus that infects the respiratory system. Coronavirus is troubling the public with signs of fear and anxiety. Likewise, experienced by nurses who work in health services so that it needs to be given support to strengthen coping to keep treating patients without any difficulties. These community service activities are carried out using zooming and live streaming on YouTube to maintain the health protocol recommended by the government. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and motivation for nurses to strengthen coping or self-efficacy in carrying out activities in the health service. The results of these community service activities are expected to increase the motivation of 1,120 nurses in using positive and adaptive coping in their daily activities and in health services.

Abstract

Workload is a condition that burdens the workforce, both physically and non-physically in completing work. Excessive workload can cause a person to become nervous which leads to stress. Workload must be considered because workload can affect nurse performance and indirectly affect nursing services to patients. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is a relationship between workload and nurse performance room at Advent Hospital. This type of research is quantitative research with a non-experimental design with a cross-sectional method. The object of this study were 34 nurses and the sampling technique used was total sampling where the entire population will be sampled. A questionnaire was used in collecting data and analyzed by using the Chi Square correlation test. The results show that the majority of nurses has a moderate workload of 25 respondents (73.5%) and the majority of nurses has good performance of 28 respondents (82.4%). The statistical results show that there is a significant relationship between workload and the performance of nurses in the inpatient ward of Advent Hospital, with a significance level of p value 0.02 (<0.05). So it can be concluded that the lighter the workload the better the nurse's performance. It is expected that the hospital will evaluate the workload and efforts of nurses to improve performance so as to improve the quality of service in providing nursing care services.

Abstract

Nurses are one of the most important professions in providing services in hospitals, therefore nurses must be able to display optimal performance. Many things can affect nurse performance including conflict and work motivation. Head nurses is demanded to be able to manage conflicts that will have an impact on the work motivation of implementing nurses in providing nursing care in hospitals. This type of research uses quantitative research methods with cross sectional research design that is collecting data on the implementation of conflict management of head nurse and the work motivation of implementing nurses used in the same time and measured once. Sampling in this study used simple random sampling in which there were 59 nurses involved. Bivariate analysis uses chi-square statistical tests to determine the relationship between the implementation of conflict management of head nurse that is good, enough, and less with the nurses’ work motivation that strong, medium and weak. The results showed that the majority of conflict management of head nurse was 54.2% (enough) and the majority of nurses' work motivation was 57.6% (medium). Chi square statistical test results indicate that there is an influence between the implementation of conflict management of head nuse on the nurses work motivation (p value = 0,000, α = 0.05). Management, communication and good cooperation between health service providers Improving skills in conflict in hospitals is an important thing that must be improved and carried out of head nurse. The hospital management is also expected to pay attention in terms of human resource development, especially conflict management, and optimize the implementation of programmatic conflict management that affects the nurses’ work motivation. Perawat merupakan salah satu profesi yang paling berperan penting dalam memberikan pelayanan dirumah sakit, oleh karena itu perawat harus mampu menampilkan kinerja yang optimal. Banyak hal yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja perawat termasuk adanya konflik dan motivasi kerja. Kepala ruangan dituntut dapat memanajemen konflik yang akan berdampak pada motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan di rumah sakit. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional yaitu melakukan pengumpulan data pelaksanaan manajemen konflik oleh kepala ruangan dan motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana yang digunakan dalam waktu yang sama dan diukur satu kali saja. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling dimana perawat pelaksana yang diikutsertakan berjumlah 59 orang. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistik chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pelaksanaan manajemen konflik oleh kepala ruangan yang baik, cukup, dan kurang dengan motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana yang kuat, sedang dan lemah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pelaksanaan manajemen konflik oleh kepala ruangan adalah cukup sebanyak 54,2% dan mayoritas motivasi kerja perawat adalah sedang sebanyak 57,6% di Rumah Sakit Martha Friska Medan. Hasil uji statistik chi square menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara pelaksanaan manajemen konflik oleh kepala ruangan pada motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana (p value = 0,000, α = 0,05). Meningkatkan keterampilan dalam memanajemen konflik, komunikasi dan kerjasama yang baik antar pemberi pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit untuk merupakan hal penting yang harus ditingkatkan dan dilakukan oleh kepala ruangan. Pihak manajemen rumah sakit juga diharapkan memberi perhatian dalam hal pengembangan SDM khususnya manajemen konflik, dan mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan manajemen konflik secara terprogram yang berpengaruh pada motivasi kerja perawat pelaksana.

Abstract

Kanker payudara merupakan kanker penyebab kematian tertinggi nomor 2 setelah kanker leher rahim. Saat ini, kanker payudara sudah mulai menyerang remaja. Namun remaja masih memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap yang rendah mengenai deteksi dini kanker payudara. Salah satu penanggulangan kanker payudara yaitu penemuan kasus dengan deteksi dini yang dilakukan melalui Pemeriksaan Payudara Sendiri (SADARI) yang bisa dilakukan secara mudah yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya benjolan yang dapat berkembang menjadi kanker payudara. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, dan perubahan perilaku tentang deteksi dini kanker payudara melalui Pemeriksaan Payudara Sendiri (SADARI) di SMA YPI Amir Hamzah Medan. Sasaran khalayak dari pengabdian ini adalah siswi SMA YPI Amir Hamzah Medan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahapan proses ceramah, pemutaran video, pemberian poster atau leaflet tentang SADARI, tanya jawab, praktek dan evaluasi kegiatan berupa Tanya jawab dan demonstrasi siswi. Disarankan kepada remaja putri untuk melakukan SADARI secara rutin dan sekolah melakukan penyuluhan kesehatan siswanya.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit jenis baru yang belum pernah diidentifikasi sebelumnya pada manusia. Virus penyebab COVID-19 ini dinamakan SarsCoV-2. Virus corona adalah jenis zoonosis (ditularkan antara hewan dan manusia). Memburuknya wabah virus Corona mengharuskan pemerintah mengambil sikap dan tindakan untuk menerapkan social distancing (menjaga jarak), menggunkan masker dan mencuci tangan dengan sabun guna menghadapi pandemi COVID-19. Menjaga jarak, memakai masker dan mencuci tangan dengan sabun merupakan beberapa upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi virus Corona. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang upaya pencegahan COVID-19. Solusi Permasalahan dalam pengabdian ini melaksanakan sosialisasi pencegahan virus corona yang tepat dan efektif sekaligus pembagian masker pada masyarakat di Pasar Sukaramai Kecamatan Medan Area dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan demonstrasi. Hal ini dilakukan dengan media leaflet dan membagikan masker kain. Luaran kegiatan ini adalah seluruh masyarakat baik pedagang maupun pembeli di Pasar Sukaramai Kecamatan Medan Area mampu memahami dan menjelaskan kembali definisi COVID-19, penyebab COVID-19, tanda dan gejala COVID-19, upaya pencegahan COVID-19 yang tepat dan efektif dan cara menggunakan masker yang tepat.

Abstract

Supervisi merupakan upaya untuk membantu pembina dan peningkatan kemampuan pihak yang disupervisi agar dapat melaksanakan tugas kegiatan yang telah ditetapkan secara efesien dan efektif. Menurut survey awal tim pengabdian, kami melihat bahwa pengetahuan perawat tenang supervisi masih kurang, hal ini ditandai tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dilakukan sosialisasi baik supervisi yang dilakukan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung pada perawat didapatkan hasil 60%, hal ini menjadi permasalahan mitra, sehingga pentingnya diadakan sosialisasi (penyampaian materi) dan pelatihan supervisi. Tujuan Pengabdian ini agar pengetahuan dan aplikasi supervisi pada perawat dapat dilakukan sesuai SOP. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di ruang rawat inap RSU Full Bethesda. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi (penyampaian materi) dan pelatihan, serta diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini setelah dilakukan sosialisasi dan praktek menunjukkan 85 % perawat paham terkait penjelasan materi tentang supervisi dan 95% perawat dapat mempraktekkan supervisi. Saran bagi manajemen RSU Full Bethesda agar dapat mengevaluasi secara rutin pelaksanaan supervisi baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.
