Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in psychological responses between victims and perpetrators of sexual violence using Carl Gustav Jung's analytical psychology theory approach. The research method used is the word association method, this study explores aspects of personality, such as Persona, Shadow, Archetype, and Complex, to identify the psychological dynamics that influence the behavior and perception of these two groups. The results showed that victims tend to display a stable Persona, supported by elements of family and nature archetypes as a mechanism for healing and emotional recovery. Meanwhile, perpetrators show the use of a manipulative Persona to control the surrounding environment and tend to dominate, which is reinforced by the hero and superiority archetypes. The victim's Shadow mostly contains anxiety and fear related to trauma, while the perpetrator's Shadow is more filled with aggressive traits and lack of empathy. The complexes that appear in victims are related to inferiority and social support, while perpetrators show a superiority complex that emphasizes dominance and manipulation. These fundamental differences provide insight into how victims and perpetrators respond to their life experiences and how psychotherapy approaches can be tailored based on their respective needs. This study offers a new perspective in understanding the psychological dynamics of victims and perpetrators of sexual violence and has the potential to contribute to more effective therapeutic interventions.

Abstract

AbstractAnatomy is the basic foundation of medical sciences so it is important to study anatomy to support clinical practice in the future, both in the examination and diagnosis of patients, as well as in communication between fellow health professionals. Anatomy can be studied with two-dimensional modalities and mainly with three-dimensional modalities. Cadaver became a three-dimensional modality that has been used for centuries. Cadavers can present a good and deep spatial understanding of the structure of the human body, as well as provide tactile sensations that other learning modalities cannot get. With the increase in medical education institutions and problems related to health, religion, ethics, medicolegal, time, and cost, cadavers are increasingly rare to obtain. This requires students to increase their understanding of other modalities that are mostly two dimensions. The two-dimensional modalities also have a weakness that can only be obtained from the two-dimensional modalities so other two-dimensional modalities besides cadavers are still needed. Virtual Reality is here to be an effective alternative complementary modality in helping understanding in studying anatomy. This article is compiled by searching digital literature on the online database available in the form of research articles and literature reviews. A literature search resulted in a series of discussions on anatomical learning, the role of cadavers in anatomical learning, and virtual reality as an alternative to three-dimensional modalities. The conclusion of this article is that virtual reality with its advantages and disadvantages can be a complement to the learning of anatomy, although it cannot replace the role of cadavers completely. AbstractAnatomy is the basic foundation of medical sciences so it is important to study anatomy to support clinical practice in the future, both in the examination and diagnosis of patients, as well as in communication between fellow health professionals. Abstract

This research aims to understand the history of the emergence of the traditional nyeruan healing tradition, how the treatment procession is carried out, how this treatment is in the view of Islam and modern health science. This research lasted for six months using qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. Determining informants in this study used snowball sampling. The data collection techniques use participant-observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and also triangulation. Data analysis in this research uses the Social Construction theory of Peter L. Berger and Tomas Luckman, and Herbert Blumer's Symbolic Intractionism theory. Based on the research results, it shows that the traditional healing tradition of nyeruan does not violate the laws and regulations in Indonesia, so the practice is still being preserved, especially among the Sasak community

Abstract

The use of innovative multimedia technology continues to evolve and has now become a primary technology tool in education. Currently, the utilization of virtual reality (VR) technology is being used as an immersive medium for learning, especially in the field of medicine. Immersive technology is presented in 3D visualization, approaching real and relevant objects in medical education as an alternative to traditional teaching aids such as cadavers. In this research, an exploration of the VR environment was conducted in a case study of the skeletal system using 3D skull bone objects. The exploration involved tasks such as preparing the 3D skull bone object data assets in the 3D development environment, exporting data assets to the 3D-VR environment, and configuring aspects related to visualization and object control based on visual C#. So far, documentation of the 3D-VR application development environment and the trial results of the case study object development on the Unity platform have been produced. Additionally, documentation of the interface design application using Rapid Application Development (RAD) has also been generated. The Android-based VR application has functioned well in accommodating the skull object, designed with 3 layers of the skeletal system adjusted to their respective depths. The skull consists of 22 components, including cranium.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the factors influencing adolescent mental health in Kota Mataram, focusing on access to mental health services and the influence of local culture, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of intervention programs such as school-based mental health initiatives and community awareness campaigns tailored to adolescent needs. A qualitative approach with descriptive analysis was employed. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) involving health cadres from community health centers (puskesmas), members of the Child Protection Agency (Lembaga Perlindungan Anak or LPA), and the Kota Mataram Children’s Council Team (Tim Dewan Anak). The study is grounded in the urgency of mental health as an integral component of adolescent development and seeks to present a comprehensive overview of causal factors, access barriers, and efforts undertaken by local stakeholders. In addition to identifying risk factors, the research examines contextually relevant intervention strategies to support adolescent mental health. Data analysis was conducted using Constant Comparative Data Analysis, which includes data reduction, presentation, and verification, applying both deductive and inductive approaches simultaneously to produce valid and in-depth results. The findings are expected to contribute meaningfully to the development of responsive mental health policies in Kota Mataram and to support the implementation of adaptive intervention programs in educational and community settings.

Abstract

Sexual violence in Indonesia has increased significantly, both in terms of quantity and quality. Through a report from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA), more than 9,600 cases of violence against children were recorded in the period from January to May 2023. This increasing trend is largely due to the increasing courage of victims to report the incident. The main focus of this case is sexual violence, which includes rape, molestation, and sexual exploitation. West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), as an example, recorded 188 cases of sexual violence against children in 2021-2022, with types of incidents including rape and molestation. Involving various impacts, sexual violence damages the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of the victim. Serious handling and in-depth understanding from various sectors are key to overcoming this problem. The involvement of Posyandu as a public health institution is a proactive solution to provide support and assistance to victims of sexual violence. Through training of Posyandu cadres in Banjar Village, Ampenan District, it is hoped that a responsive support network can be formed to address the issue of sexual violence at the community level. Collaboration with health, child protection, and mental health institutions is an integrated step that supports victim recovery. This service contributes to the understanding of the importance of the role of Posyandu in dealing with sexual violence and details the impacts and concrete solutions to improve prevention and recovery. The conclusions of this study provide a deeper understanding of the complexity of the issue of sexual violence and provide a basis for policy recommendations to improve the community approach in addressing this problem.
