Abstract

Abstract: This hybrid motorcycle design is to combine 5.65kW gasoline engine and 48V DC 0.5kW electrical brushless motor in serial-parallel type. Master control unit use a microcontroller ATMega16 to control gasoline engine and electrical motor alternately. Speed sensor is placed on the rear wheel to detect the motorcycle’s speed. When the motorcycle’s speed reaches the top threshold at 30km/h, it driven with gasoline engine and when the motorcycle’s speed getting lower to the bottom threshold at 5km/h, it changes with electrical motor. Battery charged with plug-in system to power supply.

Abstract

Abstract: Fatigue is a form of failure that occurred in the structure due to fluctuating dynamic loads that occur below the yield strength for a long time and repeatedly. Determines the required material fatigue test equipment fatigue. Fatigue test equipment is designed with rotary bending systems. Re-design tool that was originally done to digitize readings manually replaced with a digital readout. Digitization include the addition of pulse digital meter, digital meter counter and the system auto shutdown. The addition of a digital readout to facilitate the conduct of research and testing of materials.

Abstract

Abstract: 4 ways hacksaw is one type of wood hacksaw, which has 4 arms wood hacksaw and connected by linkage, so that can make translation movement. This 4 ways hacksaw powered by 1,5 HP AC Motor. This 4 ways hacksaw design, performed modeling and construction load simulation was made and simulated by Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014 software. And also on this load simulation this product also had good strength and ability to receive the maximum load force. So it is safe to be use

Abstract

Abstract: Automation is a technology that can be used to implement an instructional process or an automatic procedure. In this framework that has been using an instructional program that combined with a control system to process an instruction or commands. This processing module is a part of the automation which checking a process simulation of hollow and not hollow objects, then a PLC is use to control the process as designed be needed to control all of the working processing modules systems works. working system, a programming language that easily to be understood is needed such as functional block diagram (FBD) is use to program a plc system which functional block diagram (FBD) is a method that can describe a function between input and output variable, in FBD there is a Sequential Function Chart method (SFC ) which control the program sequential activity. So this research discusses the control of processing module which based on FBD programming language by using the SFC method.

Abstract

Abstrak: Otomasi industri merupakan hal yang tidak bisa dihindari untuk meningkatkan produktifitas, kualitas dan keselamatan. Oleh karena itu, simulasi mesin otomasi sangatlah penting untuk dibuat agar sistem kerjanya dapat diketahui secara pasti dan dapat dipastikan aman bagi operator. Proses yang biasa digantikan dengan otomasi adalah proses pemindahan barang dan proses pengecekan, sehingga sudah tidak membutuhkan tenaga manual lagi. Modul Storage Station adalah bagian dari mesin simulasi untuk pengecekan. Dibutuhkan PLC untuk mengontrol kedua modul tersebut sehingga dapat berjalan sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Salah satu bahasa pemrograman yang mudah dimengerti adalah Functional Block Diagram (FBD). Pada FBD, terdapat sebuah metode yaitu metode Sequential Function Chart (SFC) untuk mengatur urutan kerja dari program. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengendalian modul Storage Station yang menggunakan bahasa pemrograman FBD dengan menggunakan metode SFC. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah mesin simulasi untuk modul Storage Station dalam skala laboratorium yang mampu mendeteksi material, warna, dan lubang dari benda kerja beserta diagram gerakan dari masing-masing modul.

Abstract

Abstract: Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) is a technology additive manufacture for modelling, prototyping, and production. This technology is one of the techniques used for 3D printers. Our focus is on studying, design machines fused deposition with 3D modeling and simulation with autodesk inventor and other design tools. Design is done by simulating the strength of the construction and then determine the components needed. We are making fused deposition modeling is intended as a prototype in order to understand how it works and how to innovate in the development of fused deposition modeling. The results of the design in the form of a fused depositon modeling that is able to create physical models

Abstract

Abstract: Four directions radial chainsaw is a chainsaw that have four cutting tools with link as it’s power continuer and using roller chain transmission. This machine is designed to improve the efficiency of cutting time. Especially in the furniture industry. Still, the stacking of wood cutting work can reduce the production capabilities. This essay will discussed about the link and transmission working system that is used in the machine. The method used in this design is VDI 2221. The order of this design is starting from the calculation of the force that required to cut the wood, the force that contains in the link, and the calculation of motor horsepower that is required. Abstract

Abstract: Pollution levels over time has been increased. One of the causes of the pollution are Internal combustion engine vehicle. In Indonesia, the air pollution produced by motor vehicles approximately 55 micrograms per cubic meter CO2. One of the solution to overcome the pollution problem is to create environmentally friendly vehicles using electric motor. In this paper will discuss about the design of a concept of environmentally friendly personal vehicle, which is used 3 wheel and can carry a single passenger. The process is design using the CAD software in three dimensional design, then static analysis was conducted using FEA to produce the maximum stress and the critical location due to the load from the design of the vehicle.

Abstract

Gracia Paper adalah UMKM pembuatan kertas roll untuk mesin kasir. Bagian dari proses produksi kertas roll pada UMKM yang memiliki tingkat bahaya tinggi adalah proses penggulungan kertas dengan memanfaatkan mesin bor. Proses ini masih dilakukan secara manual dimana pekerja memegang bor dengan posisi pergelangan tangan yang menekuk dalam waktu cukup lama dan dilakukan secara berulang-ulang. Analisa keluhan pekerja dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner Nordic Body Map kepada enam pekerja. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan pekerja mengalami sakit pada pergelangan tangan kanan, punggung, leher dan pergelangan tangan kiri setelah bekerja. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan kuesioner Nordic Body Map, dilakukan analisa RULA pada tiga proses yaitu pengukuran dimensi kertas roll, penggulungan kertas roll dan penempelan selotip pada kertas roll. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui besarnya resiko pekerjaan dan tindakan perbaikan yang harus diambil untuk mengurangi keluhan fisik pekerja. Nilai akhir RULA tertinggi terdapat pada proses penggulungan kertas roll dengan nilai 7. Untuk mengetahui spesifikasi alat bantu yang akan dirancang dibagikan kuesioner lanjutan perancangan produk. Dari kuesioner dihasilkan tiga desain alat bantu. Pemilihan desain terbaik dilakukan dengan metode AHP, berikutnya dilakukan simulasi rancangan perbaikan dengan software CATIA. Hasil perhitungan RULA hasil simulas turun menjadi 3. Setelah dilakukan implementasi produk dan dilakukan analisis RULA, didapatkan hasil nilai akhir RULA 3, artinya level resiko rendah.

Abstract

As we know, every house nowadays definitely has at least one or two air conditioners, so this product definitely has to go through the maintenance stage so that the tools needed must also be adequate, but when we look again carefully at the tools that currently exist There are still some shortcomings, such as when someone wants to clean the AC, there is quite a bit of dew produced by the existing product that splatters, causing the floor to become wet and also the method of use is also quite simple but not optimal because most tools nowadays only use clear cloth and of course when the author wants to carry out an analysis of the product that will be designed, it is natural that it goes through several stages so that the product can sell and is in accordance with the wishes of the current community so that the stages for designing the product must go through various aspects such as using the method used by the author, namely the QFD method so that the product is can be produced according to the target desired by the author. For the product that will be designed, light materials will be used to avoid work accidents for both officers and the air conditioner itself and also to facilitate the mobility of the air conditioner so that the material chosen is polypropylene plastic pellets, where the plastic pellets will go through a molding process so that they will produce The product is in accordance with the author’s wishes, which has been confirmed to be of a reasonable size and the advantages of the product designed can be expected to make it easier for everyone to clean the AC, both in terms of installing the product and using the product.
