Abstract

Wanita memiliki potensi besar dalam dunia wirausaha, namun stereotip gender sering kali menjadi hambatan bagi wanita untuk memulai usaha. Generasi Z, sebagai generasi yang lebih inklusif terhadap kesetaraan gender memiliki potensi untuk mengembangkan intensi berwirausaha dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh stereotip gender dan dukungan sosialterhadap intensi berwirausaha dengan menggunakan efikasi diri (ED) sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 169 wanita generasi Z yang berdomisili di Jakarta menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara daring dan luring, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis data Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stereotip gender tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara langsung terhadap intensi berwirausaha wanita Generasi Z. Namun, akan berpengaruh signifikan jika terdapat efikasi diri sebagai variabel mediasi. Selain itu, dukungan sosial terbukti dapat memengaruhi intensi berwirausaha secara signifikan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui efikasi diri. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mengenai pentingnya peran efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial dalam pemberdayaan kewirausahaan berbasis gender guna menciptakan lingkungan kewirausahaan yang lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan untuk wirausaha wanita.   Women have significant potential in the entrepreneurial world; however, gender stereotypes often hinder women from starting their businesses. As a generation more inclusive toward gender equality, Generation Z has the potential to develop stronger entrepreneurial intentions than previous generations. This study examines the influence of gender stereotypes and social support on entrepreneurial intentions, using self-efficacy as a mediating variable. The study utilized a sample of 169 Generation Z women residing in Jakarta, selected using the purposive sampling method. Data was collected through online and offline questionnaire distribution and analyzed using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that gender stereotypes do not have a significant direct influence on the entrepreneurial intentions of Generation Z women. However, they do have a significant effect when mediated by self-efficacy. Furthermore, social support significantly influences entrepreneurial intentions directly and indirectly through self-efficacy. This study provides insights into the crucial role of self-efficacy and social support in gender-based entrepreneurial empowerment, aiming to create a more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial environment for women entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Digital transformation makes social media one of the infrastructures that introduces effective performance changes for MSMEs. Referring to the concept of the research model built based on the Technology Organization Environment (TOE) theory, tThere are three basic factors that need to be considered by MSMEs in adopting social media, namely compatibility, cost-effectiveness and interactivity. This study aims to compare the effects of compatibility, cost-effectiveness, and interactivity on SME performance between the social media platforms Instagram and TikTok. A comparative study was utilized in this research to examine the impact of variables on the Instagram and TikTok social media platforms. The sample consisted of 200 SMEs was selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Multigroup Analysis (PLS-MGA). The study's results indicate that compatibility and interactivity significantly influence the adoption of both Instagram and TikTok social media platforms. On the other hand, the cost-effectiveness variable only affects the adoption of the TikTok social media platform but does not significantly affect the adoption of Instagram. This study also found that only interactivity significantly differs in adopting social media platforms between Instagram and TikTok. The results showed that Instagram social media provides greater interactivity than TikTok. The other two variables, compatibility, and cost-effectiveness do not significantly differ. Furthermore, the study also found a positive influence of using both Instagram and TikTok social media platforms on SMEs' performance.

Abstract

Tingginya angka pengangguran menuntut generasi muda untuk memiliki intensi kewirausahaan sebagai solusi menciptakan peluang kerja. Dengan keberanian mengambil risiko dan inovasi, mereka dapat membangun usaha yang berkontribusi pada perekonomian. Pendidikan kewirausahaan menjadi kunci untuk membekali mereka dengan keterampilan dan mindset yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh inovasi, pengambilan risiko, dan pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa. Data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan secara offline maupun online dengan teknik non-probability sampling dan purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa yang berkuliah di Tangerang. Data dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS dengan software SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: a) terdapat pengaruh positif antara inovasi terhadap intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa; b) terdapat pengaruh positif antara pengambilan risiko terhadap intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa; c) terdapat pengaruh positif antara pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa. The high unemployment rate demands the younger generation to develop entrepreneurial intentions as a solution to creating job opportunities. With the courage to take risks and innovate, they can establish businesses that contribute to the economy. Entrepreneurial education plays a key role in equipping them with the necessary skills and mindset. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of innovation, risk-taking, and entrepreneurial education on students' entrepreneurial intentions. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed both offline and online using non-probability sampling and purposive sampling techniques. The population for this study consists of university students in Tangerang. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS with the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study indicate that: a) innovation positively influences students' entrepreneurial intentions; b) risk-taking positively influences students' entrepreneurial intentions; c) entrepreneurial education positively influences students' entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

The cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset needs to be nurtured from an early age so that children always think and act entrepreneurially in their daily lives. Building an entrepreneurial spirit is not just about educating children to become entrepreneurs, but also about developing character traits that draw strength from entrepreneurial elements, such as maintaining self-quality to work hard, taking risks, perseverance, being honest, and being creativity. The activity was designed to relevant with students’ learning activities and to have educational, creative, and enjoyable values. The method used to deliver this program involved seminars and workshop on painting tote bag. Participants responded positively to this activity both in the seminar and creativity workshop sessions. It is hoped that through this activity, students' creativity and entrepreneurial spirit will be further honed.

Abstract

Kreativitas memiliki peranan penting dalam kemajuan ekonomi. Generasi Z memiliki potensi yang tinggi dalam menciptakan karya – karya kreatif. Pendidikan kewirausahaan pada tingkat bangku sekolah akan menjadi langkah awal yang efektif untuk mengembangkan potensi kreativitas dari peserta didik generasi Z. Melalui pendidikan di bangku sekolah, para peserta pendidik diharapkan mampu menanamkan karakter, sifat, watak dan jiwa entrepreneurship. Menyadari pentingnya pengetahuan mengenai kewirausahaan, maka tim pengabdian masyarakat mengadakan kegiatan yang memperkenalkan konsep kewirausahaan kepada siswa. Mitra dari kegiatan ini adalah salah satu sekolah swasta di Jakarta Pusat. Tim pengabdian masyarakat memperkenalkan pendidikan kewirausahaan melalui seminar interaktif dan workshop kreativitas agar siswa dapat membuat berbagai produk yang lebih berharga dan dapat menghasilkan keuntungan. Workshop kreativitas yang diterapkan pada kegiatan ini adalah pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dan sabun wangi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sekitar 98 murid dan 10 guru pendamping. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari siswa dan pihak sekolah, kegiatan ini mendapat tanggapan positif dan dianggap bermanfaat.

Abstract

Persaingan yang semakin kompetitif dalam industri kuliner menuntut pelaku usaha untuk memiliki pendekatan bisnis yang adaptif dan inovatif. Orientasi kewirausahaan, keunggulan bersaing, dan kreativitas menjadi faktor penting yang dapat memengaruhi keberhasilan usaha secara berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki peran orientasi kewirausahaan, keunggulan bersaing, dan kreativitas terhadap keberhasilan usaha UMKM kuliner di Jakarta. Teknik non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling dipergunakan dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur instrumen penelitian. Sejumlah 55 responden valid berhasil dikumpulkan dalam kuesioner. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan akan dilakukan analisis validitas dan reliabilitas yang beracuan pada outer model dengan metode PLS-SEM dengan alat analisis SmartPLS versi 4.0. Selanjutnya, setelah lolos uji outer model selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data yang beracuan pada inner model untuk menguji kekuatan prediksi antar konstruk dan menguji hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, didapat bahwa orientasi kewirausahaan, keunggulan bersaing, dan kreativitas masing-masing berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha kuliner di Jakarta, sehingga hipotesis pertama, kedua dan ketiga didukung. Penelitian ini memperkuat bahwa orientasi kewirausahaan memungkinkan suatu bisnis lebih adaptif terhadap perubahan pasar, dan juga keunggulan bersaing usaha dalam menciptakan nilai lebih pada produk dibandingkan kompetitor, serta kreativitas dalam kemampuannya menghadirkan hal baru dengan konsep yang unik, desain yang menarik dan strategi pemasaran yang inovatif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut dapat menjadi landasan strategis bagi UMKM kuliner dalam menghadapi perubahan pasar, menciptakan nilai tambah, serta mengembangkan ide-ide baru secara berkelanjutan.    The increasingly competitive landscape of the culinary industry demands that business actors to adopt adaptive and innovative business approaches. Entrepreneurial orientation, competitive advantage, and creativity are key factors that can influence business success. This study aims to investigate the role of entrepreneurial orientation, competitive advantage, and creativity in the success of culinary in Jakarta. This descriptive, quantitative study employs non-probability purposive sampling. A total of 55 valid responses were obtained. The data were then analyzed for validity and reliability using the outer model approach in PLS-SEM with SmartPLS version 4.0. After passing the outer model test, inner model analysis was conducted to assess predictive strength and test hypotheses. The results indicate that entrepreneurial orientation, competitive advantage, and creativity each have a positive and significant impact on business success, supporting all three hypotheses. This finding underscores the importance of entrepreneurial orientation for market adaptability, competitive advantage for delivering superior product value, and creativity for developing novel ideas, unique designs, and innovative marketing strategies. These results highlight that these three aspects can serve as a strategic foundation for culinary MSMEs to respond to market changes, create added value, and continuously develop new ideas.

Abstract

Kewirausahaan memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pembangunan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Rasio kewirausahaan di Indonesia yang masih rendah perlu mendapat perhatian melalui peningkatan niat berwirausaha di kalangan anak muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan, dukungan finansial, ketersediaan pasar dan sikap kewirausahaan terhadap niat berwirausaha mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner secara daring dan luring dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang terkumpul sebanyak 250 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi di Jakarta Barat. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.1.0.8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan dan sikap kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha. Sedangkan, dukungan finansial dan ketersediaan pasar tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap niat berwirausaha. Entrepreneurship plays an important role in supporting sustainable economic development. The low ratio of entrepreneurship in Indonesia needs attention through increasing entrepreneurial intention among young people. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education, financial support, market availability and entrepreneurial attitudes on student entrepreneurial intentions. This research uses descriptive method. Data collection was done through online and offline questionnaires with purposive sampling technique. The data collected were 250 respondents who were students of universities in West Jakarta. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4.1.0.8 software. The results showed that entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial attitudes have a significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Meanwhile, financial support and market availability have no influence on entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh adopsi media sosial dan inovasi terhadap kinerja usaha, dengan keunggulan kompetitif sebagai variabel mediasi pada pelaku usaha yang mengggunakan media sosial secara aktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori Resource-Based View (RBV) dan Diffusion of Innovations (DOI). Responden penelitian ini melibatkan 81 pelaku usaha yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adopsi media sosial dan inovasi secara signifikan meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif dan kinerja usaha. Keunggulan kompetitif juga terbukti menjadi mediator dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi inovasi dan pemanfaatan media sosial bagi pelaku usaha untuk memperkuat daya saing dan kinerja usaha di era digital, sekaligus memberikan rekomendasi bagi pelaku usaha untuk terus memaksimalkan potensi teknologi dan inovasi dalam menghadapi persaingan pasar. This study analyzes the influence of social media adoption and innovation on business performance, with competitive advantage as a mediating variable for business actors who actively use social media. This study using the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Diffusion of Innovations (DOI) approaches. This study involved 81 respondents selected through purposive sampling, with data collected by questionnaire. The results showed that social media adoption and innovation significantly increased competitive advantage and business performance. Competitive advantage was also proven to be a mediator in the relationship. This study emphasizes the importance of innovation strategies and the use of social media for business actors to strengthen competitiveness and business performance in the digital era, while providing recommendations for business actors to continue to maximize the potential of technology and innovation in facing market competition.

Abstract

High unemployment among Indonesian Vocational High School (VHS) graduates highlights a persistent gap between school-acquired competencies and labour market demands. To address this, fostering entrepreneurial intention during early education is essential. This study research expands the entrepreneurial intention framework to the vocational education context in Indonesia, where empirical evidence on the psychological and contextual factors influencing entrepreneurial intention among VHS students remains limited. Specifically, the study examines how internship experience and social valuation influence entrepreneurial intention, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable and entrepreneur education support as a moderating variable. Employing a quantitative design, data were obtained from 160 VHS students in DKI Jakarta who had completed internship programs. The analysis usedPartial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that internship experience and social valuation both increase self-efficacy, which has a strong effect on entrepreneurial intention. While internship experience does not directly lead to entrepreneurial intention, it influences it indirectly through selfefficacy. Social valuation affects entrepreneurial intention both directly and indirectly. The study also finds that entrepreneurial education support strengthens the effect of social valuation on entrepreneurial intention, but not the effect of internship experience or self-efficacy. The findings underscore the significance of social support and practical experience as essential components of entrepreneurial learning in vocational education to strengthen entrepreneurial intention among students.

Abstract

The low level of entrepreneurship in Indonesia needs special attention. Generation Z, which is known as digital natives and has a creative spirit, is expected to be able to generate innovative ideas and take advantage of digitalization to build entrepreneurship. This study aims to determine the effect of digital competence and creative personality on entrepreneurial interest mediated by self-efficacy. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Sample collection uses a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. A total of 262 samples, namely Generation Z represented by vocational high school students and university students in Jakarta, were used in this study. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Based on the results of outer loading testing, it is known that all indicator statements are valid and reliable. The results of hypothesis testing state that digital competence and creative personality have a significant effect on self-efficacy. In addition, digital competence and self-efficacy affect Generation Z’s entrepreneurial interest. However, this study did not find a significant correlation between creative personality and entrepreneurial interest. This study found that self-efficacy fully mediates between creative personality and Generation Z’s entrepreneurial intention.
