Abstract

Abstract :This study aims to examine the effect of the characteristics of the board of directors and the board of commissioners on internationalization in manufacturing companies in Indonesia in 2015-2018. The independent variables in this study were the gender diversity of the board of directors, the economic background of the board of commissioners and the size of the board of commissioners, while the dependent variable used was company internationalization. This study uses 276 samples from 69 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2018. This research was conducted with quantitative methods using secondary data. Data analysis uses panel data based multiple regression models, and uses firm size, leverage and profitability of control variables. The results of this study indicate that the presence of women in the board of directors has no significant effect on internationalization, the economic background of the board of commissioners has a negative and significant effect on internationalization and the size of the board of commissioners has a significant effect on internationalization. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh mekanisme corporate governance (proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran dewan komisaris, kepemilikan manajerial, dan komite audit)dan kualitas audit terhadap integritas laporan keuangan pada perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 34 bank yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada satupun dari faktor-faktor  mekanisme corporate governance dan kualitas audit terhadap integritas laporan keuanganKata kunci:  Mekanisme Corporate Governance, Kualitas Audit dan Integritas Laporan Keuangan

Abstract

Social media and the digital era have had a big impact on investing decisions, particularly in the cryptocurrency space. This study investigates how social media, financial literacy, and digital literacy affect DKI Jakarta Millennials and Generation Z's decision-making when making investments. The study looks at the mental processes that underlie investing decisions and is based on theories of reasoned action and planned behavior. The study emphasizes how important financial literacy is for reducing risks and helping people make wise decisions. Digital literacy, on the other hand, improves one's capacity to navigate and evaluate large volumes of financial data. Social media is recognized as a key influencer that shapes public opinion and propels financial trends. The study's quantitative approach makes use of structural equation modelling (SEM) to examine data from an DKI Jakarta survey given to Millennials and Generation Z. The findings show that by improving access to and analysis of financial information, digital literacy has a positive impact on investment decisions. The study finds that making wise investment decisions in the cryptocurrency market requires a thorough understanding of social media, digital literacy, and financial literacy. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of corporate governance on the dividend payout ratio in companies included in the non-cyclical sector group listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Corporate governance is measured by variables, the research consists of independent variables, namely busy directors, institutional ownership, independent commissioner, audit committee, managerial ownership and the dependent variable dividend payout ratio and the control variables, leverage, company size and company age are also used.   In this research, panel data regression analysis is used. The sample in this research consisted of 33 companies consisting of the 2018-2012 period. The research results show that busy directors have a significant negative effect on dividend policy, institutional ownership has no effect on dividend policy, independent commissioners have no effect on dividend policy, audit committees have no effect on dividend policy, managerial ownership has no effect on dividend policy. The control variable leverage has a significant negative effect, company size has a significant positive effect, company age has no effect on dividend policy

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of financial literacy, individual characteristics, financial risk tolerance on the retirement budget of the State Civil Apparatus in the Provincial Government of West Sumatra. In addition, this study aims to prove financial risk tolerance as a moderator of the relationship between financial literacy and retirement budget and moderation of the relationship between individual characteristics and retirement budget in the State Civil Apparatus in the Provincial Government of West Sumatra. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly or using a Google form. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that financial literacy, individual characteristics, and financial risk tolerance had a positive and significant effect on the retirement budget, while individual characteristics as measured by gender and number of dependents did not have a significant effect on the retirement budget. Financial risk tolerance weakens the relationship between financial literacy and retirement budget. financial risk tolerance does not moderate the relationship between individual characteristics and the retirement budget of the State Civil Apparatus.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions on the behavioral intention of customers in the city of Padang to use Islamic banking mobile banking in the city of Padang. In addition, this study aims to prove the role of gender as a moderator of the relationship between behavioral intention and customer user behavior. Using sharia banking mobile banking services in the city of Padang. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires which were carried out directly or using the Google form. The data analysis method was carried out using the Structural Equation Model. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions had a significant effect on behavioral intention, besides that it was also found that gender did not moderate the relationship between behavioral intention and user behavior of customers using Islamic banking mobile banking services in Padang City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the business model canvas (BMC) at ready mix concrete company PT. XYZ. This study used purposive sampling, the informants in this study were directors and heads of divisions. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, Forum Group Discussion (FGD) and literature studies. The research phase begins with the Business Model Canvas and SWOT, problem identification, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of results and conclusions. Through the analysis described above, the result is that PT. XYZ has implemented a Business Model Canvas. Results of the SWOT matrix by writing down opportunities and threats on the vertical side and strengths and weaknesses on the horizontal side. Based on the results of the SWOT matrix, there are 13 alternative strategies that PT XYZ can choose from. After conducting a Swot analysis of the business model canvas, then a new business model canvas is formed for the company's business model. The limitations of this study are limited to only using the Business Model Canvas analysis method and SWOT analysis, it is recommended to use the analytical method using QSPM to get better results. The informants in this study only focused on informants who came from internal company PT. XYZ. Suggested further research by adding informants from external parties PT. XYZ company.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of NPL, LDR, CASA, GRDP and inflation on the profitability of 26 (twenty six) Regional Development Banks (BPD) throughout Indonesia which were presented in the form of ROA ratios for the period before the Covid pandemic in 2016 to 2019 and during the Covid pandemic from 2020 to 2021. The descriptive research method uses a quantitative approach with the data analysis method used i is panel data regression analysis. The type of data used is secondary data sourced from published financial reports of BPDs throughout Indonesia on the websites of each BPD, the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. This research got partial results before the Covid pandemic; NPL has a significant negative effect on ROA, LDR has no significant positive effect on. CASA has no significant positive effect on ROA. GRDP has no significant positive effect on ROA. Inflation has no significant negative effect on ROA. Simultaneously NPL, LDR, CASA, GRDP and inflation have a significant effect on ROA. Partial research results during the Covid pandemic; NPL has no significant negative effect on ROA. LDR has no significant positive effect on ROA. CASA has no significant positive effect on ROA. GRDP has no significant positive effect on ROA. Inflation has no significant negative effect on ROA. Simultaneously NPL, LDR, CASA, GRDP and inflation have no significant effect on ROA.

Abstract

Bitcoin merupakan salah satu instrumen investasi yang dapat memberikan keuntungan dan telah mendapatkan izin untuk diperdagangkan oleh Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi Indonesia. Keberadaan investasi mata uang digital kini semakin populer di berbagai belahan dunia, termasuk di Indonesia, yang didorong oleh lonjakan harga yang signifikan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh World Comodity Price terhadap harga Bitcoin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data time series yang diambil dari laporan transaksi bulanan Bitcoin Januari 2016 sampai dengan Desember 2022, sehingga didapatkan target populasi sebanyak 84 data bulanan untuk yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) dan analisis data menggunakan software statistik STATA. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan variabel harga emas dunia berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap harga Bitcoin, sedangkan variabel harga minyak dunia (WTI) dan harga batu bara tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap harga Bitcoin. Indeks dolar (dxy) memperkuat pengaruh positif kenaikan harga emas terhadap harga Bitcoin.

Abstract

This study examines the factors impacting income smoothing practices in both Sharia-compliant stock companies and non-Sharia stock companies. The study utilizes the Eckel index to calculate income smoothing. Among the findings, 116 Islamic stock companies and 43 non-Sharia stock companies were identified as engaging in income smoothing. The independent variables considered in this study include family ownership and tax avoidance, while firm size and leverage are used as control variables. The research employs panel data regression for data analysis. The study results reveal that the factors influencing income smoothing in Islamic stock companies are similar to those in non-Sharia stock companies, though they have differing effects. Family ownership exhibits a positive and significant impact on income smoothing in both Sharia and non-Sharia stock companies. However, tax avoidance has a positive and significant effect on income smoothing in Sharia stock companies, while it has the opposite effect on non-Sharia stock companies. As for the control variables, firm size does not significantly influence income smoothing in either type of company, and neither does leverage.
