Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work engagement on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among Herbalife supervisors in Gresik. A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS 3.0 application. Data were collected from 93 supervisors selected through simple random sampling, using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire to measure work engagement, job satisfaction, and employee performance. The results show that work engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction significantly strengthens the relationship between work engagement and employee performance. These findings suggest that supervisors with high levels of work engagement tend to experience greater job satisfaction, which in turn positively impacts their performance. This study recommends that direct selling companies enhance programs that support work engagement and job satisfaction to help achieve business goals.

Abstract

The growing interest in trading activities in Indonesia has not been fully matched by adequate financial literacy, potentially leading to undisciplined and speculative trading behavior, especially among novice traders. This community service activity aims to improve trading literacy and encourage consistent trading behavior through the Trading Bareng program organized by PT Trijaya Pratama Futures (TPFx) Surabaya. The method used is hands-on training, including an introduction to the company, real-time application of technical and fundamental analysis, and an emphasis on risk management. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of basic trading concepts, their ability to read market movements, and their awareness of the importance of discipline and risk management. This activity confirms that a practice-based educational approach is effective in shaping more consistent and sustainable trading patterns for novice traders.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve public understanding and reduce negative perceptions toward legally registered brokerage firms. The program was conducted through direct counseling and socialization activities (canvassing) in collaboration with PT Trijaya Pratama Futures (TPFX) Surabaya. Activities were carried out in public spaces using face-to-face communication, educational material delivery, interactive discussions, and distribution of informational media. The materials focused on brokerage firm legality, futures trading mechanisms, and investment risk awareness. The results indicate that participants gained better understanding and were able to distinguish legal brokerage firms from illegal investments. This program contributes to enhancing financial literacy and strengthening public trust in licensed brokerage institutions.

Abstract

Commodity futures trading, particularly gold (XAUUSD), offers significant profit potential with high risks, especially for novice traders who lack an understanding of appropriate trading strategies to minimize potential losses and market uncertainties. This community service activity aims to enhance public financial literacy through direct trading strategy education. The method used is interactive training based on direct experience (experiential learning) with real-time practice using the Metatrader 5 platform, covering technical analysis and the application of stop loss and take profit to minimize risks. The activity results show a significant improvement in the understanding of trading strategies. This program proves that the hands-on learning approach is effective in shaping more measured traders and protecting them from losses due to a lack of knowledge. Thus, structured education like this is essential to create a sustainable trading ecosystem in Indonesia.
