Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data dan informasi  potensi wilayah perikanan meliputi sistem produksi perikanan, sistem usaha dan bisnis perikanan serta sistem penyuluhan perikanan di Kecamatan Mlati.   Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 25 September 2023 sampai dengan 8 November 2023; dengan metode penelitian secara deskriftif merupakan hasil observasi dan wawancara, dengan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa  kecamatan Mlati memiliki potensi wilayah perikanan yang cukup besar  hal ini di tunjukan dengan  kondisi sumber daya alam, sumber daya manusia dan sumber daya pendukung, teritegrasi dalam kelancaran aktivitas  perikanan. Dengan daya dukung dan ketersediaan  lahan pada saat ini total seluas  28,53 km2, yang baru di manfaatkan untuk kegiatan perikanan baru 3,10 km2, dengan komoditas unggulan  ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus), ikan gurame (Osphronemus goramy), ikan bawal (Colossoma macropum), ikan lele (Clarias sp), sumber pengairan berasal dari  lima sungai, yaitu: sungai Kenteng, Nglarang, Bedong, Denggung, Wingongo dan Code.  Penduduk Kecamatan Mlati pada akhir tahun 2023 berdasarkan catatan dari  Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten Sleman sebanyak 93,721 Jumlah RTP (Rumah Tangga Perikanan) 1.686 RTP.

Abstract

The development of active pharmaceutical packaging based on biodegradable materials is an important strategy to reduce dependence on single-use plastics and their environmental impact. Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a potential biodegradable polymer, but it has limitations in terms of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation and microbial contamination. This study aims to develop a modified PVA film with methanol-soluble phenolic extract of Spatholobus littoralis Hask as active pharmaceutical packaging with UV protection, antioxidant, and antibacterial functions. The phenolic extract was obtained through a maceration method using methanol as a solvent, while the PVA film was fabricated using the solution casting technique. The PVA film was modified with varying concentrations of phenolic extract of 0, 1.25, 2.5, and 5wt% (PPE0, PPE1.25, PPE2.5, and PPE5), then evaluated for its UV protection properties, antioxidant activity, and antibacterial activity. The results showed that the addition of S. littoralis phenolic extract was able to increase the ability of PVA films to block UV radiation completely (100%) in the 200–400 nm wavelength range. Antioxidant activity testing using the DPPH method showed an increase in free radical scavenging ability as the concentration of phenolic extract increased. In addition, the modified PVA film showed significant antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. These findings indicate that S. littoralis Hask phenolic extract has potential as a natural bioactive agent in the development of environmentally friendly and multifunctional active pharmaceutical packaging, with dual protection capabilities against UV degradation and microbial contamination. This research makes an important contribution to the development of sustainable pharmaceutical packaging materials based on renewable natural resources.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the media, determining  the performance of the media and the feasibility level of the learning media for Basic Electronics Engineering Class X Audio Video Engineering Expertise Program using Swishmax. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research. The object of this research is learning media using Swishmax. The product manufacturing stage includes 1) Requirements analysis, 2) Reference collection, 3) Design, 4) Validation, 5) Revision, 6) Testing use. The data collection method used a questionnaire. The results showed that making learning media using Swishmax was adapted from Sugiyono’s research method. Getting material validation 91,56% and media validation gets 92,94% with a level of feasibility “Very Appropriate”. Meanwhile, the test of use by students also got 92,45% with  a level of feasibility “workable”.
