Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan bongkar muat peti kemas merupakan kegiatan yang memerlukan perencanaan tersturktur, hal tersebut dikarenakan saat kegiatan menggunakan peralatan yang berukuran besar serta memiliki daya angkat tinggi, sehingga perawatan peralatan bongkar muat sangat diperlukan agar meminimalisir resiko kegagalan fungsi alat yang menyebabkan perlunya perbaikan saat kegiatan berlangsung sehingga dapat menyebabkan aktivitas bongkar muat tertunda dan menimbulkan biaya tambahan. Salah satu dari beberapa peralatan yang dimanfaatkan dalam aktivitas bongkar muat yakni Ruber Tyred Gantry. Alat tersebut memerlukan perawatan rutin. Oleh karena itu, maka penulis tertarik mengkaji terkait Perbaikan Ruber Tyred Gantry pada pelaksanaan bongkar muat petikemas. Dengan tujuan yakni mendeskripsikan perbaikan Ruber Tyred Gantry (RTG) pada pelaksanaan Bongkar Muat Petikemas. Metode kajian dalam bentuk observasi, interview, kepustakaan, sumber data primer serta sekunder melalui analisa data deskriptif kualitatif. Objek kajian ini yaitu pada PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional III Cabang Tenau Kupang saat pelaksanaan bongkar muat. Waktu pengambilan data mulai dari 02 Maret 2022-31 Mei 2022. Hasil kajian mendeskripsikan bahwa telah dilaksanakan pengecekan terbakarnya motor gantry serta perbaikan dilakukan dengan menggantikan motor gantry yang mengalami kebakaran. Pada saat sesudah menggantikan motor gantry, teknisi/mekanik kemudian menghidupkan mesin RTG untuk mengecek normal tidaknya pengoperasian RTG, dan diperoleh hasil  bahwa RTG dapat beroperasi dengan normal kembali dan proses bongkar muat petikemas dapat  dilanjutkan dengan baik, sehingga perlu dilakukan perawatan rutin agar tidak terjadi kerusakan RTG, serta dilakukan pengecekan sebelum pelaksanaan bongkar muat petikemas agar aktivitas bongkar muat berjalan lancar.

Abstract

Sistem pendingin evaporatif merupakan alternatif ramah lingkungan karena tidak memanfaatkan bahan yang menipiskan lapisan ozon atau berkontribusi terhadap pemanasan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabilitas air cooler dan karakteristik air cooler dengan cooling pad sabut kelapa yang digunakan di kabin kapal. Penelitian ini menggunakan air cooler yang ada di pasaran dengan menambahkan cooling pad serabut kelapa dan membandingkan air sebagai fluida kerja dengan penambahan 2 kg es batu dan tanpa penambahan 2 kg es batu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (a) Pendingin udara dengan tambahan cooling pad pendingin sabut kelapa bekerja lebih baik daripada pendingin udara tanpa cooling pad serabut kelapa. (b) Karakteristik pendingin udara yang dimodifikasi dengan 8 variasi memberikan hasil efisiensi terbaik saat menggunakan cooling pad serabut kelapa dan penambahan 2 kg es batu pada kondisi udara berikut : Kondisi udara kering masuk (TdBin) = 31,50°C, kondisi udara kering keluar (TdBout) = 23,50°C,  kondisi udara basah masuk (TwBin) = 21,00°C, kondisi udara basah keluar (TwBout) = 21,00°C, dan dengan efisiensi (h) = 91,89%.

Abstract

The paper describes the performance of a spark-ignition engine at various fuel octane numbers. This study was realised using a 150cc automatic motorcycle with a compression ratio of 10.6:1. The experiments were conducted on three types of gasoline with different research octane numbers (RON), namely 88, 90, and 92. The torque and power of the engine were evaluated using a dyno test, while fuel consumption was simultaneously monitored during the experiments. The data were then collected and analysed using Motorcycle Communication System (MCS). The MCS measurements indicated that fuel with RON 92 allows the vehicle to reach the top speed and rotation at a gas opening angle of 25° - 79°. Applying fuel with the proper octane number in an engine with a particular compression ratio can maintain optimal engine performance. Decreasing the fuel's octane rating from the recommended conditions based on the engine specifications causes a decrease in engine performance. Torque and power tend to drop, and fuel is not economical.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the things that triggers learning activities and allows the realization of good learning objectives, so the author is interested in providing an overview of the learning activities of technical cadets in applied mechanics lectures. The method in this study is a survey and literature review. The object of research is the cadets of the AMN Cilacap engineering study program. Learning outcomes in the psychomotor domain are obtained through the discussion method. The instrument used is using google classroom media. Observations were made according to the indicators of learning activity using video media. In general, the indicators of activity have been seen, but still not overall. This means that learning activity has not been maximized or it can be said that technical cadets are active in applied mechanics lectures.  Keywords: description, active learning, applied mechanics

Abstract

Teachers generally have their own techniques in using the internet as a learning medium, this is one of the things that triggers learning activities and allows the realization of good learning goals, so the authors are interested in analyzing the use of the internet by teachers in learning at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap. This study uses qualitative research methods through descriptive and quantitative approaches. The purpose of the study is to analyze the use of the internet by teachers in learning at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap quantitatively and describe it in the form of narrative sentences. The location is at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap online with the subject teacher at the school. It was concluded that the internet was used as a complement by teachers in learning at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap. Keywords: analysis, internet use, learning

Abstract

The teacher acts as a facilitator so that learning objectives can be achieved. This can be done using the problem solving method, so the authors are interested in providing an overview of the use of problem solving by teachers in learning at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap. This study uses qualitative research methods through descriptive and quantitative approaches. The location is located at the Bina Bhakti Cilacap Vocational School offline with the subject teacher at the school. It is concluded that the use of problem solving is quite well achieved in accordance with the four steps/stages that must be carried out so that learning can be achieved optimally. Abstract

In learning mathematics, there is an application of sub-functions that can be applied in economic mathematics, namely through the sub-discussion of the demand and supply functions. Methods in this study include observation and literature review. The research object is the cadets of the AMN Cilacap Commercial Shipping Management study program. Learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect were obtained using the observation method. The instrument used is the worksheet media. Observations are carried out relevant through indicators of active learning using worksheet media. The steps taken are described through mathematics lectures at KPN cadets. In general, it can be concluded that the sub-functions in the Demand Function in mathematics learning can be applied properly because the percentage is above 75%, namely 81.68%.  Keywords: demand function, supply function, sub function, mathematics

Abstract

All in the education sector, including educators, students, parents and the school environment, need to know that the learning style used by each student is an important thing that is important to pay attention to. The problem with lectures is that most educators do not know that there are differences in individual learning styles and do not manage them well. The aim of the following study is to analyze learning styles based on school origin in applied physics courses. This study uses a research method combining observation and literature review. The author took place at the AMN Cilacap Engineering Study Program by utilizing an instrument in the form of media, namely Google Form. It was concluded that the analysis of learning styles based on school origin in applied physics lectures between High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK) students was comparable or relevant, namely option 2 which was an auditory learning style.

Abstract

Shipping safety is a must, it is an obligation for everyone to carry it out. And the fulfillment of safety facilities is a must that must be carried out or fulfilled by shipping companies. Shipping safety is inseparable from the people on board, namely the Ship's Crew (ABK), namely people who become the crew of the ship and the Nakoda as its leader. This study aims to prove the relationship between the level of knowledge and the fulfillment of shipping safety facilities. . The study used 5 ships and 61 samples and analyzed using kai squared . The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the fulfillment of shipping safety facilities.

Abstract

Unsafe conditions can cause chronic work stress that will interfere with the performance of Kabal's subordinates (ABK). Guaranteed occupational safety and health will certainly improve performance which in turn will increase work productivity. The purpose of this research is to prove whether there is an effect of knowledge sharing on shipping safety. The research method was carried out using the analytical survey method. The results show that there is an effect of sharing knowledge on shipping safety with a value of P = 0.00.
