The ends of sharia play a significant role in providing a mechanism and its practical strategies on how maritime affairs and national defence to be developed. This study searches to highlight dimension integration between Islamic law, social and natural sciences. It elaborates on the making of Islamic values as the basis of maritime affairs, national defence in maintaining social and natural lives. The object of this study is maritime and national security which is used as data and research analysis on the integration of Islam, science and society. This research explains that the scope of Islamic values in terms of maritime and national security is part of the foundation for preserving life, property and the quality of the nation's next generation (preserving offspring). By employing Jasser Auda’s thoughts on specific maqāṣid, this paper argues that strengthening maritime affairs and national defence needs to be integrated with the ends of Islamic law.

Abstract

The main goal of learning Arabic is to develop practical linguistic skills among learners centered around the concept of willingness to communicate (WTC). WTC refers to learners' strong desire and readiness to speak in specific contexts or situations. A critical challenge is how to accurately measure WTC in Arabic language learning using a valid and reliable instrument. Understanding WTC is crucial as it indicates learners' motivation to use Arabic, enhances their speaking proficiency, and creates a supportive linguistic environment. Research on WTC in Arabic language learning is currently limited, necessitating further exploration in this area. Consequently, this study aims to develop a valid and reliable WTC measurement instrument for Arabic language learners using a quantitative approach, incorporating both Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) methods. The participants for this research are 204 Arabic language learners, and a survey was utilized for data collection. The WTC instrument employed in this study is an adaptation of existing instruments, modified to align with the context of Arabic language learning and the specific conditions of Indonesian learners. The findings reveal that the WTC construct has yielded valid and reliable items that can be used to measure WTC among learners in Arabic language learning. Furthermore, there are three main dimensions within this construct, namely, the context of online, classroom, and offline. Thus, it is hoped that the WTC construct developed can be utilized to measure aspects of WTC among Arabic language learners, thereby enabling the determination of further steps in realizing linguistic behaviors

Abstract

This study examines the integration between the paradigm of Islamic law and maritime affairs and national resilience. The maqāṣid al-sharīʻa play a significant role in providing a mechanism and its practical strategies on how maritime affairs and national resilience are to be developed. This study aims at highlighting how Islamic law is integrated with maritime affairs and national resilience in the way they are connected with the spiritual-religious values in their development. The maritime affairs and national resilience are used as the object of analysis in an attempt of integrating Islam and natural and social sciences. The study comes to justify the significant role of Islamic values to be put in maritime affairs and national resilience as the foundation to protect life, assets, and future generation.

Abstract

Sistem parkir yang efisien dan terstruktur sangat penting dalam mengelola ruang parkir di area yang padat kendaraan. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keakuratan dalam pengelolaan parkir, penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi sistem parkir yang menggunakan teknologi Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) dengan metode First-In-First-Out (FIFO). Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk mencatat secara otomatis kendaraan yang masuk dan keluar dari area parkir, serta memproses pembayaran secara efisien. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan dashboard yang memudahkan pengguna untuk memonitor kendaraan yang masuk ke Blok A dan Blok B, mencatat kendaraan yang keluar, mengelola nota pembayaran, dan menghasilkan laporan secara otomatis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional parkir, mengurangi kesalahan manual, dan menyediakan data real-time yang akurat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze segment financial report disclosures at PT Mayora Indah Tbk and its subsidiaries, as well as to measure the contribution of each segment to the company's total revenue and profit. The method used in this research is quantitative, utilizing secondary data from the segment financial reports of PT Mayora Indah Tbk and its subsidiaries for the years 2019–2023. The population in this study consists of all business segments reported by the company, while the sample includes packaged processed food, packaged processed beverage, and financial services segments. The results show that only the packaged processed food and beverage segments meet the 10% revenue, profit, and asset tests, while the financial services segment does not meet these criteria. For future research, it is recommended to further analyze segments that do not meet the PSAK No. 5 standards and to extend the period and scope of the study to understand long-term trends in segment disclosures.

Abstract

The management of large-scale societal crises is often impeded by a complex interplay of factors, yet the strategic role of social capital in mitigating such unforeseen global challenges remains inadequately conceptualized. This study aims to systematically examine the contribution of social constitutive capital to the development of family resilience during the pandemic in the contemporary world. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, this research analyzed 20 pertinent articles sourced from the Scopus database. The results delineate a multifaceted typology of contributions: social capital functions through direct mechanisms, as a mediating variable alongside other factors, and through indirect pathways. The analysis establishes that social capital (operationalized through trust, networks, norms, and social organization) served as a fundamental pillar of family resilience. Its efficacy was significantly amplified when synergized with local belief systems, technological adoption, entrepreneurial initiatives, and institutional support. Furthermore, social capital acted as a critical mediator in enhancing relational capacities within marginalized demographics. A cross-national analysis of 27 countries highlighted the pivotal role of social trust in alleviating psychological distress, thereby bolstering collective resilience. Conversely, the study also revealed that the impact of social capital on individual resilience was comparatively less significant than that of socioeconomic status, demographic vulnerability, and robust physical infrastructure. These findings provide a seminal framework for understanding the multidimensional utility of social capital in crisis response.

Abstract

Despite the popular recognition of Indonesian Islam as being accommodative and moderate, there is a more conservative trend noticeable in the social and political sphere. Alerted by this recent development, the Ministry of Religious Affairs formulated the policy of religious moderation, which has drawn the attention of academicians. This research aims to gauge the level of religious moderation among lecturers of State Islamic Higher Education Institutions in Indonesia and its contributing factors. Specifically, this study attempts to examine whether variables of interreligious interaction, university policy, and socio-cultural context significantly influence the construction of religious moderation. It used a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative approaches with convergent parallel design. The quantitative approach applied a survey method using a questionnaire involving 272 lecturers at twelve institutions selected through multistage systematic sampling, while the qualitative approach used a focus group discussion technique to the management of the Religious Moderation House in 10 universities. The research revealed that the average level of religious moderation is moderate. The variables that significantly influenced religious moderation were university policies and sociocultural context, while the interreligious interaction variable had no significant effect. More complex variables need to be considered in future research.

Abstract

  تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة تأثير استخدام وسائط جمكيت (Gimkit) على نتائج تعلم المفردات لدى طلاب الصف الثامن في المدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية الحكومية الثالثة عشرة بجاكرتا، أولوجامي، جاكرتا الجنوبية. بناءً على الملاحظة الأولية التي أجرتها الباحثة، كان هناك العديد من الطلاب الذين حصلوا على نتائج تعلم المفردات أقل من متوسط معايير الحد الأدنى للإتقان (KKM). وبناءً على نتائج المقابلة مع معلم اللغة العربية في تلك المدرسة، أفاد بأن هناك نقصًا في إتقان المعلم لوسائط التعلم المبتكرة التي تجذب اهتمام الطلاب بالتعلم بشكل أكبر. وبناءً على نتائج المقابلة مع طلاب الصف الثامن، ذكروا أن هناك تصورات سلبية تتعلق بتعلم اللغة العربية مثل الشعور بالكسل في التعلم والملل وصعوبة التركيز. استخدمت هذه الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي (Quasi-Experiment) بتصميم المجموعة غير المتكافئة .(Non-Equivalent Group Design)أما عينة البيانات المستخدمة فهي طلاب الصف الثامن أ كمجموعة تجريبية والصف الثامن ب كمجموعة ضابطة بإجمالي 72 طالبًا. وكانت طريقة جمع البيانات المستخدمة هي إجراء الاختبار القبلي والاختبار البعدي والتوثيق. أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن متوسط درجات المجموعة التجريبية في الاختبار البعدي (93,75٪) بينما كان متوسط درجات المجموعة الضابطة (58,75٪). وبناءً على الفرق في هذه النتائج، ذكرت الباحثة أن متوسط درجات المجموعة التجريبية أكبر من المجموعة الضابطة. وفي اختبار مان ويتني (Mann-Whitney)، تم الحصول على مستوى الدلالة (Asymp. Sig. 2-Tailed) بقيمة < 0,001. وهذا يدل على أن هناك فرقًا ذا دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة. وأظهرت درجة اختبار N-Gain أن استخدام وسائط جمكيت حصل على درجة قدرها 0,79 أو ما يعادل 79٪ والتي تقع في المستوى المرتفع. لذلك، بناءً على نتائج الاختبار الإحصائي، تم الإعلان عن فعالية وسائط التعلم جمكيت في تعلم المفردات بمستوى فعالية مرتفع. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gimkit terhadap hasil belajar mufrodat siswa kelas 8 yang di MTsN13 Jakarta, Ulujami, Jakarta Selatan. Berdasarkan observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti, banyak siswa yang memiliki hasil belajar mufrodat dibawah rata-rata kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM), berdasarkan hasil wawancara guru bahasa arab disekolah tersebut menyatakan bahwa kurangnya penguasaan guru terhadap media pembelajaran yang inovatif yang lebih menarik minat belajar siswa, berdasarkan hasil wawancara siswa kelas VIII mengatakan bahwa adanya persepsi negatif terkait pembelajaran bahasa arab seperti merasa malas belajar, bosan, dan sulit fokus. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi-Eksperiment dengan desain Non-Equivalent Group Design. Adapun sample data yang digunakan merupakan siswa kelas VIII A sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumah keseluruhan 72 siswa.metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan pre-test dan post-test serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen dalam post-test (93,75%) sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol (58,75%). Berdasarkan perbedaan hasil tersebut, peneliti menyatakan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih besar dari kelompok kontrol. Uji Mann-Whitney, diperoleh signifikansi (Asymp. Sig. 2- Tailed) sevesar < 0,001. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol. Skor uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Gimkit skor sebesar 0,79 atau setara dengan 79% yang berada pada tingkat tinggi. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan hasil uji statistik, media pembelajaran Gimkit dinyatakan efektif dalam pembelajaran mufrodat dengan tingkat efektivitas tinggi.
