Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan jawaban empirik: (1) Pengaruh langsung biaya kuliah terhadap Hasil Belajar,(2) Pengaruh langsung motivasi belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar, dan (3) Pengaruh tidak langsung biaya kuliah terhadap hasil belajarmahasiswa melalui motivasi belajar. Penelitan ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis jalur. Data diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan angket penelitian berupa kuosioner pernyataan tentang biaya kuliah dan motivasi belajar dengan skala likert, Sedangkan data hasil belajar mata kuliah Matematika Optimasi diperoleh dari nilai UTS. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 77 mahasiswa semester 3 pada Program Studi Teknik Industri Universitas Indraprasta PGRI. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahawa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh langsung biaya kuliah terhadap Hasil Belajar, (2) Terdapat pengaruh langsung motivasi belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar, dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung biaya kuliah terhadap hasil belajarmahasiswa melalui motivasi belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 34 Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 369 siswa, dengan sampel penelitian diambil dari kelas VIIc dan VIId yang masing-masing terdiri dari 25 siswa, sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik sampel random sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas lembar penilaian dan keterampilan menulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil uji t dengan nilai = 170,29 > = 2,010635 maka ditolak diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan dalam penggunaan media audio visual terhadap keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 34 Kota Bekasi, karena dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran tersebut menghasilkan rata-rata yang lebih tinggi sebesar 84,4 dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata dengan menggunakan media konvensional sebesar 41,74.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using serial digital image media on the skills of writing fable text in class VII students at SMP Citayam Plus. The research method used is an experimental method with a post-test only control group design. The population was 188 students, the number of samples used in the research was 60 students, using simple random sampling techniques, the instrument used in this research was an assessment sheet. The results of the research show that based on the results of the t test where 15.48 > 1.671 while ?ℎ????? > ??????, this means that there is an influence on the use of serial digital image media on the ability to write fable text in class VII Citayam Plus Junior High School students, because serial digital image media produces a higher average of 83.9 compared to the average value of learning outcomes that did not use serial digital image media of 63.80.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of reading interest on the descriptive writing skills of fifth-grade students at MI Arrohmah Bekasi. The background of this research stems from the low writing skills of students, which are largely influenced by their lack of interest in reading. Reading plays an essential role in enriching vocabulary, broadening knowledge, and enhancing students’ imagination. With a higher interest in reading, students are expected to compose descriptive texts more comprehensively, clearly, and engagingly. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Post-Test Only Control Group Design type. The population comprised all fifth-grade students of MI Arrohmah Bekasi totaling 110 students, and the sample consisted of 44 students selected through simple random sampling. The research instruments included a reading interest questionnaire and a descriptive writing skills test. The data analysis results revealed a positive and significant effect of reading interest on students’ descriptive writing skills. The hypothesis test using the t-test produced a t-value of 3.79, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.009 at a 0.05 significance level. These findings indicate that increasing reading interest contributes to improving students’ descriptive writing ability. This study recommends that teachers integrate reading literacy programs into Indonesian language learning as a strategy to enhance students’ writing skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to RW Youth. 03 Meruyung Village, Limo District, Depok City Assisted by AM Edu Center about the importance of designing speech texts as a provision for public speaking. The abdimas partners were given socialization on how to design an effective speech text as a provision for social life in the future. The method used in this activity is the method of discussion and practice of compiling speech texts interspersed with screenings of films and videos that contain presentations of effective text drafting designs. The output produced in this activity is an article which will be given back to the participants. To measure changes in knowledge in this activity, a questionnaire was also distributed to the audience to measure knowledge before and after the socialization activity.
