Perkembangan teknologi memengaruhi sistem informasi, terutama di bidang perpustakaan. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi usability website Perpustakaan Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Medan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS). Teknologi informasi penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi layanan perpustakaan. Penelitian menyoroti tantangan perpustakaan dalam beradaptasi dengan teknologi, dengan solusi praktis dari media informasi berbasis elektronik. Konsep perpustakaan digital diimplementasikan untuk memberikan akses cepat dan efisien, meski penelitian mengidentifikasi masalah akses dan waktu tidak teratur pada website perpustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat usability "OK" namun Net Promoter Score (NPS) menunjukkan sikap pengguna yang pasif. Analisis SUS menunjukkan website mudah dipelajari, efisien, dan memuaskan, meski ada tanggapan bervariasi terkait kesalahan. Meskipun demikian, pengguna menyatakan kepuasan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan pada usability website perpustakaan, menyoroti area perbaikan, dan menekankan pentingnya evaluasi dan peningkatan berkelanjutan untuk memenuhi ekspektasi pengguna. Abstract Technological developments affect information systems, especially in the library sector. This research evaluates the usability of the Medan Ministry of Health Polytechnic Health Library website using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Information technology is important to increase the efficiency of library services. The research highlights the challenges of libraries in adapting to technology, with practical solutions from electronic-based information media. The digital library concept was implemented to provide fast and efficient access, although research identified access problems and irregular times on library websites. The research results show the usability level is "OK" but the Net Promoter Score (NPS) shows a passive user attitude. SUS analysis showed the website was easy to learn, efficient, and satisfactory, although there were varying responses regarding errors. Despite this, users expressed overall satisfaction. This research provides insight into the usability of library websites, highlights areas for improvement, and emphasizes the importance of continuous evaluation and improvement to meet user expectations.

The development of Islamic art plays a crucial role in religious education and character building for the younger generation. However, the practice and training of Islamic art at the community level still face various challenges. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic religious instructors as agents of change in developing Islamic art in Batang Serangan District, Langkat Regency. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, incorporating in-depth interviews with four religious instructors, complemented by qualitative participatory methods and data analysis. The results indicate that religious instructors actively participate in introducing Islamic art, guiding arts groups, instilling religious and moral values, and increasing community participation in Islamic art activities. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating participatory methods and the active role of instructors as agents of change in cultural transformation and religious education. This research empowers practitioners, historians, and stakeholders to optimize Islamic art training and opens up opportunities for broader, further research combining qualitative and quantitative methods.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious moderation values within the Merdeka Curriculum in madrasahs in Binjai City, identify supporting and inhibiting factors in their application, and evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching strategies used to integrate these values. This research employed a qualitative case study approach, using data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of madrasah principals, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students at three madrasahs in Binjai City that have implemented the Merdeka Curriculum. The findings reveal that religious moderation values have been integrated into the curriculum and learning processes through various strategies, including contextual and collaborative approaches and the use of digital media. Supporting factors include teacher commitment and madrasah policies, while inhibiting factors involve limited time, teacher capacity, and inadequate evaluation tools. The effectiveness of teaching strategies needs further enhancement through teacher training, development of teaching materials, and comprehensive evaluation to ensure the internalization of religious moderation within madrasah culture. This study offers recommendations for policymakers to strengthen the implementation of religious moderation in Islamic education in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of anti-bullying socialization in improving students’ understanding and empathy in schools. The background of this research is the persistence of bullying cases that cause negative impacts on students’ psychological, social, and academic development. Schools, as formal educational institutions, have an important responsibility to conduct preventive efforts, one of which is through anti-bullying programs. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method with a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The population consisted of junior high school students, with 80 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The questionnaire consisted of 10 items measuring aspects of understanding, social awareness, and students’ assessment of the program. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution and percentages. The findings revealed that the majority of respondents, more than 80 percent, chose strongly agree and agree across all indicators. Most students stated that they understood the definition and types of bullying, knew appropriate actions to take when witnessing bullying, and perceived the material as easy to understand. Furthermore, respondents admitted to feeling more empathetic toward peers and committed not to engage in bullying after the program. The success of the socialization was also influenced by the clarity, communicative delivery, and engaging presentation of the material. Another key finding is that students strongly supported the idea of conducting such programs regularly in schools

This study examines public reception of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk in Kisaran in 2025. The study is grounded in the view that CSR is not merely a form of corporate responsibility, but also a corporate communication practice through which the company encodes messages of care, legitimacy, and social closeness to surrounding communities. The novelty of this study lies in its use of Stuart Hall’s reception theory to analyze CSR in a plantation context, an area that remains underexplored in Indonesian corporate communication studies, particularly through a phenomenological lens. This research employed a qualitative phenomenological approach to capture the lived experiences of communities in interpreting the company’s CSR practices. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 10 informants, supported by observation, documentation, and analysis of the company’s CSR report. The findings show that the CSR program was constructed as a corporate message through seven main sectors: education, health, religion, infrastructure and environment, social and disaster response, sports and youth, and economy. Public reception was predominantly situated in dominant-hegemonic and negotiated positions, indicating that community acceptance was generally positive but not entirely uncritical. These findings confirm that the meaning of CSR is shaped not only by program implementation, but also by how communities interpret, evaluate, and negotiate their experiences with the company.

This study aims to analyze the message characteristics of TikTok content on the @MetodePenulisanSCI account and its role in assisting students in completing their final assignments. The focus encompasses message content, meaning, function, presentation format, and the communication context constructed within the content. A qualitative approach with content analysis technique based on Klaus Krippendorff's framework was employed. Data were collected through documentation of six videos selected purposively according to the following criteria: content directly addressing final assignment completion, high interaction levels (likes and comments), and representation of varied educational and motivational message types. The findings reveal that content on the @MetodePenulisanSCI account exhibits consistent message characteristics, namely educational, persuasive, and contextual in nature. Messages are presented in a straightforward, communicative manner and remain relevant to students' experiences, thereby facilitating comprehension and strengthening motivation as well as confidence in completing final assignments. Accordingly, the TikTok content on this account serves not merely as an information medium, but also as a vehicle for supporting informal learning among students

The development of digital media has transformed tourism promotion practices, including educational tourism, which requires effective communication strategies to reach the public. As an educational tourism destination, Siantar Zoo utilizes digital media to disseminate information, build its image, and increase public engagement. This study aims to analyze the public relations communication strategy of Siantar Zoo in promoting educational tourism through digital media. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with Mr. Bagaskara, the Public Relations and Information Officer of Siantar Zoo, as the main informant. The findings reveal that Siantar Zoo utilizes Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook as the primary platforms for promotion and information dissemination. The communication strategy is implemented through educational content related to wildlife, conservation, tourism activities, and learning programs, presented in the form of photographs, reels, and short videos adapted to current social media trends. The study also found that active interaction through comments, direct messages, and reposting visitors’ content contributes to effective two-way communication and strengthens relationships with the public. Furthermore, transparent information regarding animal care and educational activities helps enhance public trust in Siantar Zoo. The findings indicate that the integration of digital media utilization, educational content development, and sustainable public engagement plays a significant role in strengthening Siantar Zoo’s positive image as an educational tourism destination and increasing public interest in visiting.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respons masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Unit Rambung Sialang di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan Kepala Desa Pergulaan, aparatur desa, serta masyarakat penerima manfaat program CSR sebagai informan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memberikan respons positif terhadap pelaksanaan program CSR, terutama pada kegiatan perbaikan dan perataan jalan yang membantu kelancaran akses serta aktivitas sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Namun, masyarakat juga menilai bahwa pelaksanaan program CSR belum sepenuhnya merata, belum berkelanjutan, dan belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan riil masyarakat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan CSR masih cenderung bersifat reaktif dan belum berbasis perencanaan partisipatif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan program CSR yang lebih partisipatif, berkelanjutan, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan lokal agar manfaatnya dapat dirasakan secara lebih luas dan mendukung peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
