<![CDATA[This paper discusses the Making of Annotated Bibliography of Teaching Materials Collection at Padang Industrial Technology Academy Library. The purpose of this paper is to describe the making of annotated collection of teaching materialsBibliography at the Library of Industrial Technology Academy of Padang. The method used was descriptive method which technique of data collectionwere through direct observation or observation. The observations were conducted directly by investigating and recording the collection of teaching materials at the Padang Industrial Technology Academy Library. The results obtained in direct observation, the amount of collection of teaching materials at the Padang Industrial Academy Library was 59 titles with a total of 102 copies. Based on the discussion, It concluded that the compilation of bibliography annotated collection of teaching materials at the Polytechnic Library of Industrial Technology Academy of Padang done through the several stages. First, determines the bibliographic titles. Second, collects the library materials or investigates bibliographic information on the collection of teaching materials. Third, selects library materials.Fourth, groups or classifies annotated bibliography of the collection of teaching materials based on the content and the subject. Fifth,generates the keyword. Sixth, indexes the bibliographic collection of teaching materials. Seventh, types the manuscript bibliography. The final stage in making a bibliography of annotated teaching materials collection was the final manuscript examination. Keyword: bliography, teaching materials.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract This paper is discusses the handbook of archive management at PT Semen Padang Achieves Unit. The method used in the handbook of archive management at PT Semen Padang Achieves is use descriptive method. The data collection is done by observation and interview.Based on the discussion above, it can be conclude that the steps in the handbook of archive management at PT Semen Padang Achieves Unit are as follows; (1) needs analysis, the author conducted interviews directly with employees at PT Semen Padang Achieves Unit regarding the use and obstacle encountered in using the archive classification code and design wished by the employees in the handbook; (2) product design, the author in advance makes the form of a chart; (3) product compilation; in this section the author do product compilation starting from collecting data information and composing a writing framework such as making book covers, preface, table of contents, main contents of the book, and cover.Keywords: preparation, archive, guide book.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses about making pathfinder in fiction book in Library of SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This paper is aimed to describing the process of making pathfinder in fiction book in Library of SMA Pembangunan laboratorium UNP. The data were collected through observation and direct interview with librarian. Based on the research it can be concluded that the steps of making pathfinder in fiction book as: (1) determining and limiting topics in the book in Library of SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP; (2) gathering or collecting literature collections in order to match collection with write nomor panggil, the title, author, impresum, and the other information that has been determined that is fiction book which is related with ISBN, physic; (3) the aim of the selection is to match the data with the topic or title; (4) agglomeration and classification of bibliography through the content or subject that is fiction collection; (5) typing the pathfinder; (6) editing the pathfinder. Keyword: pathfinder, fiction, catalog, special topic]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discussed about the Making of Directory of Officer of Corruption in Correctional Court of Class 1A Padang. The purpose of writing this paper is to design and produce a printed or book-shaped directory to find information about employee data. The research method used is descriptive method with data collection technique of observation of spaciousness and do not do interview.Based on the analysis of data can be concluded the steps of directory creation as follows: 1) to collect employment data; 2) record data and data input into Microsoft Word; 3) focus on ideas when creating directory books that have been created; 4) create a book framework for directed writing; 5) write the concept of directory creation that is arranged according to the highest to lowest position; 6) determine the subject in the manufacture of directories that is the name of the position; 7) grouping the data that has been collected according to the subject; 8) determine what elements will be included in making directory creation in accordance with the data already obtained; 9) design a directory model; 10) compile and create directory of employees and create cover.Keywords: personnel, directory]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractThe writing of this paper discusses repackaging information on  Songket Pandai Sikek Minangkabau. The purpose of this paper is to describe the repackaging of Songket Pandai Sikek Minangkabau information. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collected through observation and interviews with the owners of the Songket Pandai Sikek Crafts, craftsmen, employees of the Songket Pandai Sikek souvenir shop, and buyers of the Pek Sikek Songket. Based on the discussion it was concluded that the stages of making repackaging information on Songket Pandai Sikek Minangkabau, as follows: 1) identifying user needs; 2) information gathering; 3) packaging information, including cover, preface, table of contents, core discussion and cover; 4); determine the target audience; 5) product evaluation and manufacturing process.Keywords: repack, pandai sikek, Minangkabau]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractThe research method used in this final assignment is the desktiptif method with direct observation and interviews with traditional coffee product entrepreneurs and the community in Nagari Koto Baru Solok district. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the steps in making repackaging of traditional information on coffee products in Nagari Koto Baru, Solok Regency are as follows: First, identify user needs, namely identifying the needs of the community. Based on the results of the interviews that have been conducted to the community in Nagari Koto Baru, Solok Regency, the community needs more information about the traditional coffee processing process in Nagari Koto Baru, Solok Regency. Besides that the community is also interested in knowing how to process traditional coffee because the coffee has a distinctive taste. Not only that, people who like to consume coffee consume sachet coffee more often than traditional coffee. This is due to the lack of attention to traditional coffee information or limited information about traditional coffee. Second, gathering information and selecting information sources by recording knowledge and collecting data from traditional coffee product entrepreneurs in Nagari Koto Baru, Solok Regency. Third, evaluating information validation, after collecting data sourced from the community and traditional coffee entrepreneurs in Nagari Koto Baru Solok Regency. <![CDATA[AbstractThe writing of this paper discusses the creation of a directory of public and private universities in the city of Padang. The purpose of writing this paper is to facilitate the search for public and private university directories in the city of Padang. The method used in the preparation of this paper is descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out by direct observation and literature study.Based on the discussion it can be concluded as follows; first, techniques in making directory of state and private universities in the city of Padang; (a) data collection of state and private universities throughout the City of Padang; (b) compiling the directory concept; (c) determine the subject; (d) classification or grouping of data; (e) cover design; (f) directory preparation. Second, the obstacles in making the directory of state and private universities in Padang City are as follows: (a) in the search for locations, there are many locations of universities that have changed places, functions and even those that are no longer active; (b) it takes a long time to create this directory; (c) making a location plan has difficulty because there are several locations where the information about the road to the location is unclear and does not understand the condition of the road; Third, the efforts made in overcoming the constraints of making a directory of state and private universities in Padang City are: (a) searching for locations that have moved places, functions or which are no longer active by making direct observations to the location in order to ensure conditions and information about the college; (c) making the directory takes a long time so the writer must be able to arrange the time so that the directory products of state and private universities in West Sumatra can be completed at the specified time; (c) overcome the difficulty of making the location plan of the writer using the help from google maps and information from the surrounding community.Keywords: directory, Universities, City of Padang]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this study were to describe of making an annotated bibliography of police science in the Library of Police Regional West Sumatera and can be used to find information needed quickly and easily, to describe of constraints an annotated bibliography of police science in the Library of Police Regional West Sumatera and to describe of efforts an annotated bibliography of police science in the Library of Police Regional West Sumatera. The method used in this study is descriptive method. With data collection techniques through direct observation and interviews. In making an annotated bibliography there are eight stage is: (1) determination of the title bibliography; (2) the collection books; (3) the selection of library materials; (4) gruping or classification; (5) keyword creation; (6) indexing based an author index, title index, and keyword index; (7) typing bibliography textx;(8) the final bibliography examination. <![CDATA[This paper discussed about making of batik at Adityawarman museum directory, describe the process of making batik in Adityawarman museum directory with facilitate the retrieval of information contained in batik collection Adityawarman Museum. Methods of this paper is using descriptive method and get the data by observation, interview and collect data directly from the original source, which is a collection of batik contained in Adityawarman Museum. Based on analyzing the data, it can be concluded that in the process of making Directory Batik Adityawarman museum necessary steps as follows: 1) surveying batik collection through the inventory book etnografika collate and classify the data collection of batik collection names common in sequential order with the amount of the collection; 2) define the elements of what will be  making the directory corresponding to the data already obtained the author uses elements such as the author listed as follows: the name of the general collection; registration number; inventory numbers; batik size; batik material; place of origin of batik is made; place of origin obtained batik and batik collection of photos.Keyword: directory; batik; Museum Adityawarman]]>
