Abstract

Fenomena perilaku pencarian informasi produk skincare melalui media sosial TikTok telah menjadi fenomena yang semakin populer dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Keberagaman informasi yang didapatkan menyebabkan kebingungan. Pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang perilaku pencarian informasi melalui media sosial TikTok merupakan suatu hal yang penting karena dapat membantu pencari informasi dalam membuat keputusan yang lebih relavan dalam memilih produk skincare sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat kesadaran pentingnya memenuhi kebutuhan informasi produk skincare melalui TikTok sangat tinggi, (2) tingkat kemampuan dalam mengidentifikasi dan memilih informasi produk skincare sangat baik, (3) tingkat kebingungan ketika menemukan informasi yang beragam sangat tinggi, namun (4) informasi yang diperoleh dianggap dapat menjawab ketidaktahuan dengan sangat baik, (5) kemampuan dalam mengumpulkan, menyeleksi serta mengevaluasi informasi dianggap sangat baik, dan (6) tingkat kepuasan, keyakinan, serta kesiapan terhadap informasi yang didapatkan sangat baik.

Abstract

This studi aims to find out how the utilization of digital reading corner services as a learning resource for students at SMA Negeri 2 Painan Library. The purpose of this study is to describe. First, the utilization of digital reading corner services by students of SMA N 2 Painan. Second, student learning resources by utilizing digital reading corner services at SMA N 2 Painan Library. This study used quantitative descriptive method. This study had a population of 1,247 students with a sample drawn amounting to 92 students. The data that has been collected is made into a table form and then data processing is carried out with calculations using the mean formula and grand mean calculations to calculate the total average of each indicator and variable. Based on the results of the study, results were obtained. First, the utilization of digital reading corner services by SMA Negeri 2 Painan students obtained an average score of 3.04 with an interval scale of 2.52 –3.27 in the high category. Second, student learning resources by utilizing the digital reading corner service at SMA Negeri 2 Painan Library obtained an average score of 3.05 in the high category.

Abstract

This research aims to describe an analysis of the application of the reading time strategy in increasing students' reading interest in the Al Istiqamah Simpang Empat West Pasaman High School library. The type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The data analysis technique in this research is by examining the data, tabulating it using the Arikunto distribution formula. The results of the research show that: (a) the reading interest of students at Al Istiqamah Simpang Empat High School, West Pasaman Regency is still low because there is no strategy that can increase students' reading interest which is applied in a structured and systematic manner and carried out seriously and continuously, ( b) after analyzing the reading time strategy at Al Istiqamah Simpang Empat High School, West Pasaman Regency, it appears that it is still not working properly. This can be seen from the three stages of the reading time strategy (habituation, development and learning) which are still rarely implemented, and (c) the reading time strategy is very likely to be implemented at Al Istiqamah Simpang Empat High School, West Pasaman Regency, where one of the main factors supporting the implementation of the reading time strategy The library of Al Istiqamah Simpang Empat High School, West Pasaman Regency, has a large and up-to-date collection.

Abstract

This study examines the perceptions of students of the Department of Information Science and Library FBS UNP Class of 2021 towards information search using ChatGPT. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The research population was 249 students with a sample of 72 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique. Data analysis in this study by verifying the data, then tabulating and processing the data by calculating using the mean formula to calculate the average per statement item, as well as calculating the grand mean to calculate the total average of each indicator. The results showed that the perceptions of students of the Department of Information Science and Library FBS UNP 2021 Angaktan towards information search using ChatGPT have responded well.

Abstract

This research examines the acceptance of ChatGPT technology among students of the 2020 Informatics Engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University using the TAM model. This research aims to describe the acceptance of ChatGPT among students. The type of research used is quantitative research with a case study approach. The method used is descriptive research method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and questionnaires. Sampling in this research was by using saturated samples. Research data was obtained from the results of a questionnaire distributed to 89 samples who were informatics engineering students class of 2020. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is acceptance of ChatGPT technology among students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program Class of 2020, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University, with five indicators which are obtained an average value of 2.61. The indicators include (1) Perception of ease of use, obtaining an average value of 2.64 whose interval scale is positive or categorized as good, meaning that the ease of use of ChatGPT so that it does not require special skills can be accepted by students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program Class of 2020. ( 2) Perception of user usefulness, obtained an average value of 2.65 whose interval scale is positive or categorized as good, meaning that ChatGPT provides benefits in helping user performance so that the indicator can be accepted by students of the 2020 Informatics Engineering Study Program. (3) Intention to use , obtained an average score of 2.57, which is a positive interval scale or categorized as good, meaning that the use of ChatGPT which will be reused over a longer period of time can be accepted by students of the 2020 Informatics Engineering Study Program. (4) Real conditions for using the system obtained an average score of 2.60 on a positive interval scale or categorized as good, meaning that users use ChatGPT truly to help user performance so that it can be accepted by students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program Class of 2020. (5) Attitude towards use, gain The average value is 2.61, the interval scale is positive or can be categorized as good, meaning that based on the evaluation of ChatGPT users, the impact of using ChatGPT can be felt so that this indicator can be accepted by students of the 2020 Informatics Engineering Study Program. Even though it is categorized as good, the use of ChatGPT can has a negative impact on students, such as dependence on ChatGPT which will affect students' critical thinking abilities in doing assignments and a lack of social interaction such as discussions because they rely too much on ChatGPT when doing assignments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang penerimaan aplikasi Isumbar Mambaco oleh pengguna di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Sumatera Barat dengan menggunakan model TAM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerimaan aplikasi Isumbar Mambaco oleh pemustaka. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Jumlah populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini tidak disebutkan dalam informasi yang diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat penerimaan aplikasi Isumbar Mambaco oleh pengguna di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Sumatera Barat dengan tingkat penerimaan yang baik sesuai dengan lima indikator TAM. Adapun indikatornya antara lain (1) Perceived usefullness, pengguna menilai aplikasi sangat bermanfaat dengan skor rata-rata 3,29. (2) Perceived ease of use, pengguna menganggap aplikasi sangat mudah digunakan dengan skor rata-rata 3,29. (3) Attitude Toward Use, pengguna memiliki sikap yang sangat positif terhadap penggunaan aplikasi dengan skor rata-rata 3,27. (4) Behavioral intention to Use, pengguna menunjukkan niat penggunaan yang baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,09. (5) Actual system use, penggunaan aktual sistem mencapai tingkat yang baik dengan skor rata-rata 2,84.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan (1) implementasi Standar Nasional Perpustakaan (SNP 12:2017) di Perpustakaan SMKN 1 Lembah Gumanti; (2) evaluasi implementasi Standar Nasional Perpustakaan (SNP 12:2017) di Perpustakaan SMKN 1 Lembah Gumanti. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdapat 3 orang yaitu kepala sekolah, kepala perpustakaan, dan pustakawan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa. (1) implementasi standar nasional perpustakaan No.12 Tahun 2017 di SMKN 1 Lembah Gumanti menunjukan; (a) standar koleksi yang belum sesuai dengan (SNP) adalah jumlah koleksi, jenis koleksi perpustakaan, jumlah koleksi referensi tidak terpenuhi, perawatan bahan perpustakaan belum optimal sedangkan yang sudah memenuhi standar meliputi pengelolaan bahan perpustakaan, cacah ulang dan penyiangan; (b) standar sarana dan prasarana yang belum memenuhi SNP adalah gedung, area, dan sarana prasarana sedangkan yang sudah memenuhi (SNP) adalah lokasi perpustakaan (c) standar pelayanan yang belum sesuai standar yaitu jam layanan, jenis layanan serta tidak memiliki program seperti program wajib baca, literasi informasi, dan pendidikan pemustaka, sedangkan yang sudah sesuai stadar yaitu laporan, dan kerja sama. (d) standar tenaga perpustakaan yang belum sesuai dengan standar yaitu jumlah pustakawan hanya satu orang sedangkan yang sudah sesuai dengan standar yaitu kualifikasi tenaga pustakawan dan kualifikasi kepala perpustakaan. (e) standar penyelenggaraan belum sesuai dengan standar yaitu, pendirian perpustakaan, Nomor Pokok Perpustakaan, struktur ogranisasi, program kerja belum dibuat secara terlulis, sedangkan yang sudah sesuai standar adalah penyelenggaraan perpustakaan. (f) standar pengelolaan perpustakaan yang belum sesuai dengan standar yaitu belum memiliki visi dan misi perpustakaan, sedangkan yang sudah memenuhi yaitu tujuan, kebijakan, tugas, fungsi dan anggaran perpustakaan. (2) evaluasi impelementasi Standar Nasional Perpustakaan No.12 Tahun 2017 di SMKN 1 Lembah Gumanti menunjukan komponen SNP belum diterapkan dan sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan No.12 Tahun 2017.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat Desa Simbolon, Kec. Padang Bolak, Kab. Padang Lawas Utara, Prov. Sumatera Utara, terhadap budaya lokal, khususnya tarian tor-tor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan tarian tor-tor serta memperkenalkannya secara lebih mendalam kepada masyarakat Desa Simbolon, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kepedulian mereka terhadap budaya setempat.Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya preservasi pengetahuan tor-tor dalam Horja Godang Adat Batak Mandailing di Desa Simbolon menggunakan metode Nonaka (1995) Spiral of Knowledge. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) sosialisasi tor-tor di Desa Simbolon, terjadi melalui pertunjukan pada acara besar dan Horja Godang. Masyarakat belajar gerakan tarian tor-tor dari apa yang mereka saksikan, namun mereka hanya mengenal gerakannya tanpa memahami makna dan nilai budaya di baliknya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pelatih khusus dan tidak adanya penerapan pembelajaran tor-tor di sekolah; (2) proses eksternalisasi di Desa Simbolon dilakukan melalui dua pendekatan, yaitu dokumentasi oleh Hatobangon (tetua kampung) dan Rokkaya (anak boru roju) yang bertanggung jawab mendokumentasikan pertunjukan tor-tor dalam acara pernikahan dan kegiatan di Desa Simbolon, dan yang terakhir adalah melibatkan masyarakat dalam pembelajaran dan praktik tor-tor serta memanfaatkan Horja Godang sebagai platform untuk eksternalisasi. (3) kombinasi di Desa Simbolon, tidak terdapat proses kombinasi pengetahuan tor-tor yang terstruktur; (4) proses internalisasi dilakukan melalui dua pendekatan, yakni dari pertunjukan tor-tor dan dari media seperti video serta buku catatan yang digunakan untuk mendukung pemahaman masyarakat.

Abstract

Effective information retrieval is an essential skill for library users in the digital era; however, a gap remains in the optimal utilization of library services. This study aims to analyze the influence of user education on information retrieval skills at the Public Library of Kota Payakumbuh. Employing a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and literature review from 63 respondents selected via simple random sampling. The primary instrument, a questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability using SPSS version 25. Data analysis included editing, tabulation, descriptive analysis, and conclusion drawing. The results show that user education is in the good category with an average score of 3.06, reflecting adequate understanding of library services, including OPAC use and reference services. Meanwhile, information retrieval ability is categorized as very good, with an average score of 3.36, indicating users’ proficiency in identifying credible sources, evaluating information relevance, and utilizing various sources effectively. These findings confirm that user education positively influences information retrieval ability. The practical implications highlight the importance of strengthening information literacy programs to enhance library service effectiveness and promote user independence in accessing information.

Abstract

The transformation of academic libraries into learning commons models is a response to changing learning patterns and technological developments that require collaborative, flexible, and technology-integrated learning spaces, including in the context of the Universitas Andalas Library, which must accommodate a large user base and provide inclusive, technology-based learning facilities. This study aims to analyze the transformation of the Universitas Andalas Library towards a learning commons model from the users’ perspective by examining the factors that influence its relevance and success. A qualitative approach was employed using a literature study method by reviewing and interpreting scholarly literature, research reports, and institutional documents that discuss the transformation of academic libraries in Indonesia. The findings indicate that the learning commons model strengthens the role of the library as a center of active learning through the integration of physical spaces, digital technologies, and collaborative services; however, its implementation still faces challenges related to infrastructure limitations, the need to improve librarians’ competencies and training, and users’ adaptation to new learning cultures. The study concludes that the successful implementation of a learning commons is highly dependent on its alignment with institutional contexts and user needs, and its implications provide a conceptual basis for developing library transformation strategies that support collaborative learning, digital literacy, and academic innovation in Indonesian universities.
