Abstract

Lagu model merupakan lagu yang digunakan sebagai media dalam mencapai pembelajaran berdasarkan tema. Yang menjadi kendala dalam proses penciptaan lagu adalah perbedaan kemampuan musikal mahasiswa antara latar belakang pendidikan musik dan mahasiswa di Prodi PG-PAUD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan optimalisasi proses pembelajaran cipta lagu untuk pembelajaran anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat II di kelas A, B, C, dan D yang berjumlah 59 orang mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun akademik 2015/2016, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa cara untuk mengoptimalkan penciptaan “Lagu Model” anak usia dini adalah melalui pembuatan sinopsis, pelaksanaan metode diskusi kolaboratif, apresiasi, serta pendokumentasian lagu dalam bentuk CD dan Buku. Dengan adanya metode yang tepat dalam mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran, maka dapat meningkatkan kualitas lagu yang diciptakan oleh mahasiswa. One of the weekly Eucharist Celebrations (Mass) in Gereja Hati Kudus Tuhan Yesus (GHKTY) Pugeran is held using the instrument of gamelan as form enculturation church music. The existence of Gita Rarya as group of karawitan, established by FX. Wiyono, who is responsible for the mass instrument is one of the froms of the process lessons. Therefore, the aim of the research is to describe the liturgical karawitan in GHKTY Pugeran applied by karawitan teens group Gita Rarya and describe the learning process of liturgical karawitan on karawitan teens group Gita Rarya. This research is a qualitative research with didactic approach. To get written data, research library method is used. Meanwhile, the methods of observation, interview, and recording used for obtain oral data. The technique of sample taking from the available population is the technique of purposive sampling. This particular technique is used to aim the advanced depth of the study. The conclusion that can be delivered is that for over 10 years, the karawitan teenagers group Gita Rarya consistently take part in the implementation of Catholic liturgy and the progress in mastering the church instrument is used, especially the  tabuhanimbal technique . Gita Rarya have high taste in musicality and their existences as pengrawit in GHKTY Pugeran is strengthen because they perform their duties with pleasure.

Abstract

Karakter merupakan kepribadian yang khas pada diri seseorang yang terbentuk karena pengaruh lingkungan. Dalam gerak, iringan, dan kostum pada tari juga memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak di Rumah Seni Madhu Ro’om Pamekasan Madura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan objek penelitian Tari Topeng Getak di Pamekasan, Madura dan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Pengumpulan data didapatkan dari observasi, wawancara dengan beberapa narasumber, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif yang disajikan dengan teks bersifat naratif. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan tujuh nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak di Rumah Seni Madhu Ro’om. Adapun beberapa nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak yaitu (1) religius, (2) disiplin, (3) tanggung jawab, (4) rasa ingin tahu, (5) cinta damai, (6) demokratis, dan (7) cinta tanah air. Penerapan nilai-nilai tersebut dapat membantu peserta didik sebagai motivasi dalam latihan dan selalu diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Character is a distinctive personality in a person who is formed due to environmental influences. In motion, accompaniment, and costumes in dance also have character education values. This study aims to describe the values of character education in the Topeng Getak Dance at the Madhu Ro'om Art House Pamekasan Madura. This research uses qualitative research methods, with the object of research being the Topeng Getak Dance in Pamekasan, Madura and the educational values contained in it. Data collection was obtained from observations, interviews with several sources, literature studies, and documentation. The data analysis using qualitative analysis and is presented with narrative text. The study results obtained seven values of character education in the Topeng Getak Dance at the Madhu Ro'om Art House. The values of character education in Topeng Getak Dance are (1) religious, (2) discipline, (3) responsibility, (4) curiosity, (5) peace-loving, (6) democratic, and (7) love the homeland. Applying these values can help students as motivation in training and are consistently applied in everyday life.

Abstract

AbstrakPada saat ini anak-anak kurang memahami dan mengerti tentang nilai karakter dan kurangnya melestarikan kesenian daerah seperti seni tari klasik. Menarikan tari klasik tanpa mengetahui isi atau pesan yang ingin disampaikan pencipta tari merupakan permasalahan yang dialami pada masa sekarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada Tari Sekar Pudyastuti dan relevansinya dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara narasumber, dan dokumentasi yang sudah dimiliki oleh sanggar. Sumber data dalam penelitian yaitu ketua sanggar, pamong/guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Sekar Pudyastuti merupakan tarian yang bertemakan rasa syukur dan doa kepada Tuhan. Tari Sekar Pudyastuti mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada gerak tari, kostum tari, dan lagon/gérongan. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut meliputi nilai religius, tanggung jawab, toleransi, disiplin, demokratis, rasa dan karsa, rendah hati, mawas diri, dan filosofi kehidupan manusia. Nilai-nilai pendidikan pada Tari Sekar Pudyastuti memiliki relevansi dengan pembelajaran Seni Budaya di Sekolah Menengah Atas sehingga relevan dijadikan materi pembelajaran. AbstractAt this time, children do not understand the value of character and lack of preserving traditional arts such as classical dance. Dancing classical dance without knowing the content or message the dance creator wants to convey is a problem today. This study describes the values of character education in the Sekar Pudyastuti Dance and their relevance in learning arts and culture. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews with sources, and documentation that the studio already owns. The study's sources of data were the head of the studio, tutors/teachers, and students. The results showed that the Sekar Pudyastuti Dance was a dance with the theme of gratitude and prayer to God. The Sekar Pudyastuti dance contains character education values in dance moves, costumes, and music/vocal. The character education values include religious values, responsibility, tolerance, discipline, democracy, taste and intention, humility, introspection, and the philosophy of human life. The educational importance of the Sekar Pudyastuti Dance has relevance to learning arts and culture in high school so that they are relevant as learning materials.

Abstract

AbstrakPembelajaran daring tentunya memerlukan alat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mata pelajaran. Proses belajar mengajar seni musik tentu harus tetap difasilitasi meskipun dalam situasi pandemi COVID-19. Penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Teams pada pembelajaran seni musik dapat membantu guru untuk tetap melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran seni musik berbasis Microsoft Teams di SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik validasi data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber, sedangkan analisis datanya meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Teams pada pembelajaran seni musik dapat membantu guru untuk mengajarkan teori serta praktik yang baik meskipun tidak di dalam kelas. Aplikasi Microsoft Teams mempermudah peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran secara daring, mengumpulkan tugas, dan memperoleh materi. Fitur yang disediakan oleh aplikasi Microsoft Teams  membantu proses pembelajaran online seni musik pada materi bernyanyi secara unisono dan hasil belajar yang didapatkan di atas rata-rata kriteria ketuntasan minimal. AbstractOnline learning certainly requires learning tools that follow the subject's needs. Of course, music's teaching and learning process must still be facilitated even in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The use of the Microsoft Teams application in music learning can help teachers continue carrying out teaching and learning activities well. This study describes music learning based on Microsoft Teams at SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validation technique used is source triangulation, while the data analysis includes data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that using the Microsoft Teams application in music learning could help teachers teach good theory and practice even though it was not in the classroom. The Microsoft Teams application makes it easier for students to follow the online learning process, collect assignments, and obtain materials. The features provided by the Microsoft Teams application help the online learning process of music on unison' singing material, and the learning outcomes obtained are above the average minimum criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the value of character education in the learning process of exploring rhythmic percussion sound patterns at Sekolah Seni Alam (SULam) Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, data obtained from observations, interviews, bibliographic studies, and documentation, then validated using the triangulation of techniques and sources. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis presented with narrative text. The results showed that there were two levels in the percussion class. At the basic level, there are stages of initiation to percussion instruments, research, and maturation. Then at the advanced level, there are stages of initiation, analysis, production of works, and preparation for teaching. In learning, character education values can be found, including the value of creative character education, curiosity, responsibility, independence, communication, respect for achievement, and care for the environment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter pada proses pembelajaran eksplorasi bunyi pola ritmis perkusi di Sekolah Seni Alam (SULam) Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data didapatkan dari observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi lalu divalidasi menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang disajikan dengan teks bersifat naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua tingkatan di kelas perkusi. tingkat dasar terdapat tahap pengenalan instrumen perkusi, pencarian, dan pematangan kemudian tingkat lanjutan terdapat tahap pengenalan, analisis, membuat karya, dan siap mengajar. Dalam pembelajaran dapat ditemukan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter meliputi nilai pendidikan karakter, kreatif, ingin tahu, tanggung jawab, mandiri, komunikatif, menghargai prestasi, dan peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia has resulted in changes in the implementation of learning. The change from face-to-face learning to online learning has resulted in problems. Problems also occur in music learning at SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. The implementation of learning is not effective due to two things, firstly during the learning process there is a network disruption so that not all students can follow the learning process smoothly and secondly the use of the Google Meeting application is not suitable for learning cultural arts. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of Youtube vlog-based pop song learning at SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta.This research uses qualitative descriptive methods, conducted to describe, and understand the data objects studied in depth. The data source is a primary, and secondary data source. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The data analysis used includes data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Vlog-based learning or using videos can be used as an effective learning medium to carry out the learning process. Youtube vlogs as a medium used during online learning can increase productivity, and make it easier for teachers, as well as students to convey and access music learning materials well, especially pop song material.

Abstract

Perkumpulan tari KridaBeksa Wirama Yogyakarta terbuka untuk umum. Di perkumpulan tari ini salah satu materi yang diajarkan yaitu tari Golèk  Ayun-Ayun. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan metode demonstrasi dan imitasi yang diterapkan pada tari GolèkAyun-Ayun. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Sumber data primer meliputi hasil wawancara. Sumber data sekunder meliputi foto-foto latihan di perkumpulan tari dan video yang terkait dengan proses pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Setelah itu data divalidasi menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif dengan tahap pengumpulan data, pengolahan, analisis, dan dibentuk secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi dan imitasi secara konsisten terbukti efisien dan efektif. Hal tersebut berdampak pada prestasi dan unjuk kerja peserta didik pada tari Golèk  Ayun-Ayun di perkumpulan tari Krida Beksa Wirama Yogyakarta.Kata kunci: Tari Golek Ayun-Ayun, Krida Beksa Wirama, Pembelajaran Tari, Metode Demonstrasi, Metode ImitasiThe Implementation of Learning Method Toward New Creation Dance ini Arum Sari Dance Studio MagelangKrida Beksa Wirama Yogyakarta dance association which is open to the public. In this dance association, one of the materials taught is the Golèk Ayun-Ayun dance. The aim of this research is to identify and describe the demonstration and imitation methods applied to the Golèk Ayun-Ayun dance. Research using descriptive qualitative research methods. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources include the results of interviews. Secondary data sources include photos of practice in dance clubs and videos related to the learning process. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation and interviews. Then the data is validated using source triangulation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative analysis with the stages of data collection, processing, analysis, and forming systematically. The results showed that the application of demonstration and imitation methods consistently proved to be efficient and effective. Abstract

Tari Gelegar Nusantara pernah dibawakan oleh Kinanti Sekar di Kazakhstan dalam acara Misi Tari. Selama proses pembelajarannya menggunakan strategi ekspositori dan contextual teaching and learning (CTL). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori dan kontekstual pada kelas tari Gelegar Nusantara di Sanggar Seni Kinanti Sekar Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah strategi pembelajaran tari Gelegar Nusantara, sedangkan subjeknya yaitu pemilik sanggar, pelatih, dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik validasi data menggunakan triangulasi metode. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan strategi ekspositori membantu peserta didik untuk memahami materi yang dijelaskan secara verbal oleh pelatih. Penggunaan strategi kontekstual membantu peserta didik untuk memahami makna dari setiap motif geraknya, sehingga peserta didik dapat menarikan tarian Gelegar Nusantara dengan rasa.Kata kunci: Learning Strategies, Tari Gelegar Nusantara, Pembelajaran TariStrategy of Expository and Contextual Learning in the Class of Gelegar Nusantara Dance at Sanggar Seni Kinanti Sekar Yogyakarta.Gelegar Nusantara dance was once performed by Kinanti Sekar in Kazakhstan in the Dance Mission event. The purpose of this study is to describe the escrow and contextual learning strategies in the Gelegar Nusantara dance class at the Kinanti Sekar Art Studio in Yogyakarta. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The object of this study is the Gelegar Nusantara dance learning strategy, while the subjects are studio owners, trainers, and students. The data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validation techniques use triangulation methods. The data analysis used includes data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The understand the material verbally describe by the trainer. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the experiences and perceptions of prospective student teachers in microteaching courses as part of the learning process to become a teacher. The research method used was qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected via Google Forms to ensure maximum efficiency and internet accessibility. The data collection period started in early December 2023 and extended to early January 2024. This study examines microteaching experiences of 20 student teachers (13 females, 7 males, aged 20–24 years) from urban and rural backgrounds at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed thematically. The study used a structured questionnaire with 19 questions across 7 topics, distributed via Google Forms for efficient data collection and secure response management. The findings showed that the experiences and perceptions of pre-service teachers varied greatly, influenced by factors such as microteaching preparation; experiences during microteaching sessions; feedback and learning; perceptions and evaluations of the microteaching course; suggestions and recommendations; perceptions of the teaching career; and self-reflection. The implication of these findings is the need for a diverse approach in micro teaching to meet the needs and enrich the learning experience of pre-service teachers.

Abstract

Learning strategies are a series of instructional actions that teachers must carry out in order for learning objectives to be achieved efficiently. The learning strategies used in the choir extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 4 Sewon include direct learning strategies, indirect learning strategies, and inquiry-based learning strategies, utilizing demonstration, imitation, and drill methods.This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The object of the research is the learning strategies employed in choir extracurricular activities, with the research subjects being the extracurricular teacher and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. Data validation is carried out using source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis is conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study show that the implementation of learning strategies in the choir extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 4 Sewon uses demonstration, imitation, and drill methods in a structured and effective manner. These methods are combined with direct, indirect, and inquiry-based learning strategies to enhance students' vocal skills and creativity. The impact of implementing these strategies is an improvement in singing ability, the development of self-confidence, creativity, and independence, as well as increased student motivation to actively participate in choir activities. The teacher acts as a facilitator who creates a space for independent and collaborative learning, making the learning process more enjoyable. This activity not only develops musical skills but also builds students' confidence and professionalism in various performance opportunities. With regular practice schedules and relevant song material, this extracurricular activity makes a positive contribution to the development of students' talents and character at school.
