Abstract

Discourse of creative industries was echoed. The government alsodeveloped the concept of creative industries development. Alvin Toffler,the father futuristic was said ideas and creative ideas into the fourthwave that could affect the world economy. Indonesia also inspired thedevelopment of creative industries of the world, adopted the triple helixmodel to drive the creative industries to creative economy towardsIndonesia. There are 14 industry groups developed creative Indonesia.In this position the creative industries need to get a response fromintellectuals and the public.

Abstract

Pantomime is one of the oldest theater arts, where mime artists tell something just using their body, without talking. Pantomime artists are known for their white makeup and black pigtails, as well as other facial features to exaggerate their emotions. Black and white striped tops, white gloves and black hats are also complete with traditional Pantomime artist costumes. These clothes and makeup have become a tradition of many Pantomime artists. In adding the atmosphere of the movement displayed, a music illustration is given to bring the atmosphere to life.This study uses qualitative methods and action research methods which is a reflective research method. This type of research is able to offer new ways and procedures to improve and enhance the professionalism of pantomime presentation techniques. The approach used is structural and educative. The structure approach is used to solve something related to the arrangement or building of multi-level pantomime presentations, while the educational approach is used to solve those relating to pantomime education.Music illustrations in the Pantomime show can support the atmosphere of the show. The music played can be adjusted to the theme of the movement played by a Pantomime. Keywords: Pantomime, Illustration of Music, Atmosphere.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini memahami konsep dan proses kreatif Teater Garasi Yogyakarta (TGY). TGY merupakan salah satu kelompok teater kontemporer Indonesia yang cukup fenomenal. Puluhan karya TGY telah disajikan dihadapan penonton baik di tingkat lokal maupun nasional. Penelitian difokuskan pada faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi situasi kondusif bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan kelompok TGY. Teori kreativitas, perbandingan seni, semiotika dan manajemen seni digunakan untuk membedah permasalahan yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TGY berada dalam lingkungan perteateran Yogyakarta yang syarat dengan teater tradisional melakukan ‘pemberontakan’ artistik. Sebagai organisasi seni teater kontemporer, TGY memiliki visi dan misi yang jelas. Melalui ‘laboratorium penciptaan teater’ TGY mampu menghasilkan satu maha karya pertunjukan lakon Waktu Batu (WB). Pertunjukan lakon WB terdiri tiga sub judul: ‘Waktu Batu 1, Kisah-kisah yang Bertemu di Ruang Tunggu’; ‘Waktu Batu 2, Ritus Seratus Kecemasan dan Wajah Siapa yang Terbelah’; dan ‘Waktu Batu 3, Deus ex Machina dan Perasaan-perasaan Padamu’. Karya ini inspiratif karena memakan waktu empat tahun proses kreatifnya, digerakkan oleh insan-insan muda dan dipentaskan road show di berbagai kota di Indonesia dan Singapura.Kata kunci: Teater Garasi, kesenian Yogyakarta, Waktu Batu.ABSTRACTThe Creative Process of Garasi Theater Yogyakarta for the Story of Waktu Batu. The aims of this research is to understand the creative concept and process of Garasi Theater Yogyakarta. It is one of the phenomenal Indonesian contemporary groups of theater. Some of its works have already been performed in front of local and national audiences as well. This research mainly focuses on the internal and external factors which have influnced the condusive situation towards the development and popularity of Garasi Theater Yogyakarta. In order to solve the problems formulated in the research, the theory of creativity and the comparison between semiotic and management arts were actively used. The result of the research showed that Garasi Theater Yogyakarta has a traditional characteristic developed in a theater community of Yogyakarta and soon afterwards it has carried out such an artistic rebellion. The Garasi Theater Yogyakarta is as a group of contemporary theatre which has very clear vision and mission. By doing the creative work through a laboratory of theatrical production, Garasi Theater Yogyakarta was able to create a masterpiece of a performance entitled Waktu Batu. The performance of Waktu Batu consists of three sub-titles, namely: ‘Waktu Batu 1, Kisah-kisah yang Bertemu di Ruang Tunggu’; ‘Waktu Batu 2, Ritus Seratus Kecemasan dan Wajah Siapa yang Terbelah’; dan ‘Waktu Batu 3, Deus ex Machina dan Perasaan-perasaan Padamu’. This theatrical work can be said as an inspirative work in which it took four years in its creative process, had been activated by youngsters, and had been performed by means of a road-show program through some cities in Indonesia and Singapore.Keywords: Garasi Theater, Yogyakarta arts, Waktu Batu

Abstract

AbstrakTeater Skansa merupakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pilihan di SMKN 1 Bawang dalam bidang pengembangan minat dan bakat bidang seni dan budaya. Pembelajaran drama di Teater Skansa terangkum dalam kegiatan latihan rutin maupun latihan pementasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan metode pembelajaran dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran drama di Teater Skansa, SMKN 1 Bawang, Banjarnegara. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumetasi yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik validasi data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber dan metode. Triangulasi sumber dalam penelitian ini dengan cara mengecek sumber data dari pembina, pelatih, alumni dan peserta didik anggota Teater Skansa untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan triangulasi metode mengecek kebenaran data yang berasal dari metode observasi dan wawancara. Selanjutnya data diolah dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Teater Skansa menggunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah, demonstrasi, imitasi, latihan/drill, diskusi, presentasi, dan metode hybrid learning. Penggunaan metode tersebut sudah tepat karena proses pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan baik, selain itu peserta didik dapat menguasai materi dengan benar. AbstractSkansa Theater is an extracurricular activity of choice at SMKN 1 Bawang in developing interests and talents in the arts and culture. Drama learning at the Skansa Theater is summarized in routine practice activities and staging exercises. This research described the learning method and its application in learning drama at the Skansa Theater at SMKN 1 Bawang, Banjarnegara. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The data validation technique used is the source and method triangulation. Triangulation of sources in this research is done by checking the source of data from supervisors, trainers, alumni and students of Skansa Theater members to find out the learning process. In contrast, the triangulation method checks the truth of data derived from observation and interview methods. Furthermore, the data is processed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that Skansa Theater used lecturing, demonstration, imitation, practise/drill learning methods, discussions, presentations, and hybrid learning methods. This method is appropriate because the learning process can be carried out correctly. In addition, students can master the material correctly.

Abstract

AbstractCharacter education in Indonesia is being re-implemented to shape students to have intellect and character and can be taught through art education, one of which is Javanese opera. Langen carita is one of the arts that is intended to shape children's character as a continuation of children's art education. Langen carita is a form of the sariswara method in which there are literature, songs/music/karawitan, stories and solah bawa in short operas or children's plays (ages 10-14 years). Langen carita has also developed as a performing art with many historical stories, chronicles, or daily life, including Patine Arya Penangsang. This study aims to describe the values of character education in the language of the play Patine Arya Penangsang. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by studying, analyzing, expressing, and describing character education values in performing art. Data collection techniques used literature study, interviews, observation, and documentation, which were then validated using triangulation. The results showed that Langen Carita entitled Patine Arya Penangsang has values of religious character education, tolerance, discipline, creativity, love for the country, responsibility, leadership, self-confidence, never giving up, cooperation, obedience, perseverance, patience, courtesy, and sincere. AbstrakPendidikan karakter di Indonesia sedang diterapkan kembali untuk membentuk siswa memiliki akal pikiran dan budi pekerti dan dapat diajarkan melalui pendidikan seni, salah satunya dalam bentuk opera jawa. Langen carita merupakan salah satu kesenian yang ditujukan untuk membentuk karakter anak sebagai lanjutan pendidikan seni dolanan anak. Langen carita adalah bentuk dari metode sariswara yang di dalamnya terdapat sastra, tembang/lagu/musik/karawitan, cerita dan solah bawa dalam bentuk opera kecil atau sandiwara anak (usia 10-14 tahun). Langen carita juga berkembang sebagai seni pertunjukan dengan banyak cerita sejarah, babad atau kehidupan sehari-hari, salah satunya patine Arya Penangsang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam langen carita lakon Patine Arya Penangsang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengkaji, menganalisis, mengungkapkan, dan menggambarkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter di dalam suatu kesenian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian divalidasi menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa langen carita berjudul Patine Arya Penangsang memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter religius, toleransi, disiplin, kreatif, cinta tanah air, tanggungjawab, kepemimpinan, percaya diri, pantang menyerah, kerja sama, patuh, tekun, sabar, sopan santun, dan ikhlas dalam unsur drama, tari, dan musik.

Abstract

Abstract The research was based on learning Langen Mandra Wanara Javanese opera in the Langen Mudha Mandra Budaya community in Bantul, DIY. This study aims to identify and describe the art learning process descriptively. What is being studied includes the components of learning and the Javanese opera learning process Langen Mandra Wanara. Data were collected using observation techniques, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The research data validation used triangulation techniques. The results showed that (1) Javanese opera learning Langen Mandra Wanara used an integrated art-based learning model between drama, dance, and music; (2) There are support and appreciation from various society levels around it. This effort is a learning for the younger generation and the community in preserving the Javanese opera Langen Mandra Wanara in the Yogyakarta Special Region.Abstrak Penelitian  dilandasi pembelajaran opera jawa Langen Mandra Wanara di paguyuban langen mudha mandra budaya di bantul, DIY. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran seni secara deskriptif. Adapun yang dikaji meliputi komponen pembelajaran dan proses pembelajaran opera Jawa Langen Mandra Wanara. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Validasi data  penelitian menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) pembelajaran opera Jawa Langen Mandra Wanara menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis integrated art, antara seni drama, seni tari, dan seni musik (nembang); (2) Terdapat dukungan dan apresiasi dari berbagai lapisan masyarakat di sekitarnya, upaya ini merupakan pembelajaran bagi generasi muda dan masyarakat dalam melestarikan kesenian Opera Jawa Langen Mandra Wanara di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The learning methods of pantomime in Indonesia in the context of national education can be designed to support character education programs scheduled by the government through formal and non-formal education channels. The purpose of this study of pantomime learning methods is to package the way of parenting in the education realm. The method used is a qualitative method and method of action. The findings of the pantomime learning method are in the form of pantomime concepts and presentation techniques that offer new ways and procedures to improve and enhance the professionalism of the ability to educate pantomimes nationally. Thus in the presentation of pantomime learning with sign language, the expression on the face and body of the culprit can be appreciated by every person, community and citizen of Indonesia and other nations.Keywords: pantomime; the professionalism of educators; character education; formal and non-formal education

Abstract

AbstrakKetoprak merupakan salah satu kesenian tradisional Jawa yang terdapat di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pembelajaran pemeranan ketoprak di Komunitas Sineprak Anak Muda Yogyakarta. Ketoprak dengan lakon Telik Sandi menjadi ruang lingkup pengamatan ini dikerjakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validasi data dtempuh melalui triangulasi sumber data. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran pemeranan terdiri dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap penampilan. Tahap persiapan berisi aktivitas pemilihan naskah, casting, pemilihan tim produksi, perancangan jadwal, dan teknis latihan. Tahap pelaksanaan berisi latihan konsentrasi, latihan pemunculan emosi, latihan dinamika pertunjukan, latihan pemunculan watak, apresiasi pertunjukan, dan latihan kepekaan irama. Tahap penampilan berisi pementasan karya ketoprak. Metode pembelajaran dasar yang diterapkan seperti metode ceramah, metode latihan (drill), metode diskusi, dan metode role-playing. Evaluasi proses pembelajaran dilakukan oleh pelatih dengan berlandaskan kaidah-kaidah wiraga, wicara, wirasa, dan wirama. AbstractKetoprak is one of the traditional Javanese arts found in Yogyakarta. This study aims to explain the learning process of playing ketoprak in the Komunitas Sineprak Anak Muda Yogyakarta. Ketoprak, with the title Telik Sandi, is the scope of this observation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation through the triangulation of data sources. From the results, it is known that the acting learning process consists of the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the performance stage. The preparation stage contains activities for script selection, casting, production team selection, schedule design, and technical training. The implementation stage consists of concentration exercises, exercises for generating emotions, training for performance dynamics, training for showing character, appreciating performances, and practicing rhythm sensitivity. The appearance stage contains the performance of ketoprak works. The basic learning methods applied are lecture, drill, discussion, and role-playing. The trainer evaluates the learning process based on wiraga, wicara, wirasa, and wirama principles.

Abstract

Technological developments have helped human life in various fields, including education. In practice, technology has a positive influence on student learning outcomes. This research will be carried out to see how effective the use of technology is for student learning outcomes. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used in this study comes from various research results and previous studies, which still have relevance to the content of this research. The study results then found that technology can assist educators in providing material to students. Then students can also be helped to understand the material delivered by the teacher through technology. Various uses of this technology prove the effectiveness of the use of technology to improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, educators, such as teachers, must use the right technology to carry out the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan fungsi manajemen Sanggar Tari Sekar Jayashree Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Wukirsari Kapanewon Cangkringan Kabupaten Sleman. Objek penelitian adalah Sanggar Sekar Jayashree. Subjek penelitian meliputi pemimpin, pelatih, pengurus, siswa sanggar, dan orang tua wali. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sanggar Sekar Jayashree menggunakan fungsi manajemen yaitu: (1) perencanaan (planning), (2) pengorganisasian (organizing), (3) pelaksanaan (actuating), dan (4) pengendalian (controlling) yang diterapkan pada bidang personalia, administrasi keuangan, dan pembelajaran. Bidang personalia berhubungan dengan organisasi pengurus sanggar dan kegiatan yang mendukung keorganisasian. Bidang administrasi keuangan berhubungan dengan penerimaan, pemasukan, dan pengeluaran keuangan. Sedangkan pada bidang pembelajaran terkait dengan proses latihan rutin, uji kompetensi dan ulang tahun sanggar.Kata kunci: Fungsi Manajemen, Manajemen Sanggar TariThe Implementation of Management Function at Dance Course Sekar Jayashree Cangkriman Sleman YogyakartaThis study aims to describe the application of the management functions of Sekar Jayashree Sleman Dance Studio, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research location is in Wukirsari Kapanewon Cangkringan Village, Sleman Regency. The object of research is the Sekar Jayashree Studio. The research subjects included leaders, coaches, administrators, studio students, and guardian parents. Data collection techniques using direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity uses source triangulation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study show that the Sekar Jayashree Studio uses management functions, namely: (1) planning, (2) organizing, (3) actuating, and (4) controlling applied to the personnel sector, financial administration, and learning. The field of personnel relates to the organization of studio administrators and activities that support the organization. The field of financial administration relates to financial receipts, income, and expenses. While in the field of learning related to routine training processes, competency tests and studio birthdays.Keywords: Management Functions, Management Dance Studio
