Abstract

Dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan merupakan komponen esensial dalam praktik keperawatan profesional, berfungsi sebagai alat komunikasi antar profesional kesehatan dan sebagai bukti legal atas tindakan keperawatan yang telah dilakukan. Namun, kualitas dokumentasi keperawatan di Indonesia sering kali belum memenuhi standar yang diharapkan. Tujuan pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah menganalisa tingkat pengetahuan responden sebelum dan setelah dilakukan coaching dokumentasi keperawatan melalui peningkatan motivasi. Metodologi pada kegiatan ini yaitu dilakukan pengukuran tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah coaching tentang dokumentasi keperawatan melalui peningkatan motivasi perawat. Pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini didapatkan hasil sebelum dilakukan coaching dengan pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 14 (82,4%) orang dan baik sebanyak 3 (17,6%) orang. Setelah diberikan coaching tingkat pengetahuan responden menjadi meningkat dengan pengetahuan baik sebanyak 17 (100%) orang. Kesimpulan : hasil setelah dilakukan coaching dapat dilihat pengetahuan responden meningkat dan metode ini dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan responden.

Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 has been spreading continuously since March 2020 in Indonesia. Online learning has been used as a solution to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the habit of frequently using smartphones during online learning for school-age children can disrupt eye health and lead to a decrease in visual acuity. Visual acuity abnormalities in school-age children's vision become a significant problem that needs immediate detection as early as possible so as not to affect the child's focus during the learning process. To understand the post-online learning visual perception of elementary school children. The research design employs a quantitative descriptive research method with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consists of students in grades 4, 5, and 6 at SDN 2 Sukorejo, totaling 43 respondents. The sampling technique used total sampling with exclusion criteria, resulting in a total of 38 respondents. Data analysis is conducted using frequency distribution. The characteristics of the elementary school children who were respondents had an average age of 11.18 years, with a minimum age of 10 years and a maximum of 13 years. The majority of respondents were female, totaling 21 children (55.3%). The results of this study revealed that the visual acuity of the right eye was normal in 33 children (86.8%), and the visual acuity of the left eye was normal in 36 children (94.7%). The post-online learning visual perception of elementary school children at SDN 2 Sukorejo mostly indicated normal vision.

Abstract

Patient safety was an important indicator of health service quality and was strongly influenced by the effectiveness of communication among health professionals. Ineffective communication could lead to medical errors and decreased quality of care. This study aimed to determine the relationship between effective communication and patient safety at PKU Muhammadiyah Prambanan Hospital. This research used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 16 nurses selected using purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used were effective communication and patient safety questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Spearman’s rho test. The results showed that the majority of respondents were female (93.8%), held a diploma in nursing (87.5%), and had less than one year of work experience (56.2%). The level of effective communication among nurses was high (87.5%), and the level of patient safety was also high (75%). The Spearman’s rho test results indicated a strong and significant relationship between effective communication and patient safety with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.764 and p = 0.001 (p < 0.05). It was concluded that the better the communication performed by nurses, the higher the implementation of patient safety. It was recommended that the hospital improve training in effective communication using the SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) method to minimize information errors and strengthen the culture of patient safety.
