Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how teachers play a role in instilling values of discipline and responsibility in students during Islamic-based thematic learning. In an increasingly complex educational world, teachers must not only inform students but also teach them the positive traits that are essential for their personal and social development. This qualitative study uses interviews, classroom observations, and teaching material analysis for data collection. The research results show that Islamic-based thematic learning incorporates religious values into the learning process, thereby helping to build students' discipline and responsibility. By being a role model, implementing structured routines, and providing a supportive learning environment, teachers play a very important role. Moreover, when Islamic values are incorporated into thematic lessons, students show more responsibility and adherence to rules. This study emphasizes that character education requires a holistic approach. This approach combines daily lessons with religious principles to help students develop into disciplined and responsible individuals.

Abstract

Innovative and technology-adaptive school leaders can produce curricula that prepare students to compete effectively in the digital age. This research examines the strategies of effective leaders in creating and implementing policies that drive graduate quality improvement. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research that allows researchers to conduct a comprehensive investigation of various documents and relevant literature sources. The results show that modern school leaders can improve the quality of education and prepare students for the future through three main strategies: (1) organizing comprehensive digital skills training to develop students' technological competence, (2) integrating digital technology into the curriculum to ensure the relevance of learning, and (3) establishing strategic partnerships with industry to provide practical experience through internship programs and real job opportunities. These results show that leadership innovation in education is key to dealing with the rapid and complex development of digital technology, ensuring the education system remains relevant and able to prepare learners with the skills needed in the modern era.

Abstract

The quality of education is closely related to the quality of teaching staff at all levels of education. Teachers play a central role in shaping a superior and competitive generation. This research aims to explore the strategies of school principals to improve the quality of teachers and other education personnel. To better understand the actions taken by school principals to optimize the quality of teaching through the implementation of Total Quality Management based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, this study uses a qualitative approach with a case study methodology. Based on the findings of the research, Insan principals have implemented a structured and sustainable approach to improving teacher quality through various strategies, including selective teacher recruitment, teacher personality, and competency development, involvement in training and workshops, and awarding outstanding teachers. The implementation of the PDCA cycle in each strategic step allows school principals to monitor, evaluate, and make necessary improvements on a regular basis. The implications of this study enrich the study of education quality management in the form of learning quality, teacher effectiveness, and a culture of continuous improvement in schools. In addition, strategies (Palan, Do, Check, and Act). Then provide recommendations to education policymakers, both at the school level, the education office, and the government.

Abstract

This systematic literature review explores the growing phenomenon of viral news and its influence on judicial processes, focusing on how institutions respond to public aspirations voiced through online media. The study aims to identify the mechanisms through which viral news affects trial outcomes and institutional decision-making, while also examining the societal and legal implications of this trend. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research synthesizes data from the last five years to analyze patterns, gaps, and theoretical frameworks. Preliminary findings suggest that viral news amplifies public pressure, often leading to accelerated or altered judicial responses. The study contributes to the theoretical understanding of media influence on legal systems and offers policy recommendations for balancing public aspirations with judicial integrity. By addressing the intersection of media, law, and public opinion, this research holds significant implications for policymakers, legal practitioners, and media scholars.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the approach of the principal of SMP 2 PGRI Bandar Lampung in advancing MGMP as an effort to professionalize teachers. Education functions as a means of growing character, ethics, as well as mental and physical strength. Teachers play a central role in guiding students to their best potential, and this principle has an important role in fostering teachers' professional growth. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with the data collection method being interview, observation, and analysis of documentation data, while the data source is the principal and some teachers. The results of this study are that school principals have successfully implemented the MGMP strategy without obstacles, through the provision of facility support, resources, and encouragement of active participation of teachers. In addition, a structured coaching program, teachers are involved in MGMP activities every two months, and are given periodic feedback and evaluations. The principal also connects MGMP activities with curriculum needs, encourages collaboration between teachers, and facilitates access to advanced training. Overall, the strategies implemented are able to create an environment conducive to the development of teachers' competencies, so that they can be active in planning, implementing, and assessing learning. The implication of the research is that schools that want to maximize the role of MGMP in improving the quality of teachers can optimize the MGMP program which is driven by school principals, assisted by teachers and supported by students.

Abstract

Abstrak                 Berdasarkan kemanfaatan sosialisasi politik dapat diketahui bahwa suatu negara dapat menerapkan model sosialisasi politik yang berbeda-beda, bergantung kepada sistem-sistem politiknya. Suatu sistem politik dapat bersifat totaliter, demokrasi, sedangkan masyarakatnya dapat berada pada tahap primitif, berkembang, atau telah maju. Teori sistem-sistem dalam Sosiologi politik menunjukkan bahwa suatu kondisi sistem politik dapat dilihat dengan melihat fungsi masing-masing sistem yang ada, dan sifat suatu sistem politik yang menandai hubungan negara dan masyarakatnya dilihat dengan mengetahui tipologi sistem politik untuk melihat sifat negara dan struktur masyarakatnya. Kata Kunci:  Hubungan, Sosiologi, Politik

Abstract

ABSTRAK Demokrasi adalah sebuah politik konsensus atau demokrasi konsensus, yang mensyaratkan adanya kapabilitas kelembagaan demokrasi dalam melakukan transendensi kultural untuk mencapai tataran rasionalitas lebih tinggi[1].  Namun, pencapaian tataran rasionalitas tertinggi pada demokrasi konsensus adalah terlalu idealistis, karena pada kenyataannya politik adalah keadaan kompleksitas yang tidak memberikan peluang dan kesempatan menuju idealisasi. Dengan demikian, demokrasi konsensus orientasi metodisnya pada dasarnya lebih bertumpu pada upaya dan kerja keras untuk mencapai kesepakatan  aktual dengan cara memaksimalkan jumlah orang atau individu yang menyetujui tindakan atau kebijakan yang akan ditempuh[2]. Demokrasi konsensus dapat pula dipahami sebagai politik konsensus.Dinamika hubungan antara Islam dan negara adalah gambaran paradoksal demokrasi sebagai suatu politik konsensus dan politik disensus, bahwa jumlah mayoritas dibutuhkan untuk dukungan konstitutif suatu agenda politik, namun sebagai bentuk antagonisme dari demokrasi itu sendiri, suara mayoritas menjadi penghalang bagi agenda kebangsaan bagi Pancasila sebagai Ideologi Negara Indonesia. Bahwa sebagai negara, Indonesia adalah negara yang terdiri dari berbagai suku bangsa dan berbagai agama. Dengan kenyataan itu, maka keberagaman haruslah diterima sebagai wujud terhadap pelaksanaan demokrasi. Abstract

Kebakaran hutan merupakan salah satu bencana yang efeknya bisa dirasakan secara global. Hal ini dikarenakan hutan bukan hanya menjadi habitat bagi tumbuhan atau hewan untuk hidup dan berkembang biak namun juga menjadi salah satu sumber penopang keseimbangan alam demi keberlangsungan hidup manusia karena berfungsi sebagai paru-paru dunia. Taman Nasional Bukit BarisanSelatan (TNBBS) merupakan kawasan hutan hujan tropis yang ditetapkan UNESCO sebagai salah satu situs warisan dunia. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh kasus kebakaran hutan yang terjadi sejak tahun 2015-2019 di TNBBS mengalami peningkatan, salah satunya terjadi di Resort Suoh Kabupaten Lampung Barat Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis lebih dalamtentang upaya preventif dan represif dari pemerintah dalam menggulangi kebakaran hutan berdasarkan UU Nomor 41 tahun 1999 dan Fatwa MUI Nomor 30 tahun 2016.

Abstract

Indonesia has a unique political economy system, called the Pancasila democratic economic system. This system is clearly stated in the state constitution of the 1945 constitution, explaining how the state should regulate the state economy by dividing it into two systems: the top-up level and the bottom-up level. The top up-level is the control of strategic economic sectors by the state, but the management can be handed over to the private sector and hereinafter referred to as state-owned enterprises, this principle is intended to prevent the state of Indonesia from entering the free-market system because it is not in accordance with the principle of justice for the Indonesian nation. The bottom-up level is the management of the microeconomics sector by the community at the village level based on the characteristics of each village. However, in each regime, the economic system that is run is different from the principles of the Pancasila economic democracy system. The implementation of the principles of the economic system implemented in Indonesia is seen from the relevant laws and regulations and the implicit implications of the Indonesian state's political economy policies which form the basis of state economic management and legislators' understanding of the Pancasila democratic economic system are visible. This study uses content analysis and statistical analysis to measure legislators' understanding. The results of the study show that the laws produced by legislators do not support the implementation of the Pancasila democratic economic system and the legislator's understanding of the principles of the Pancasila democratic economic system is low.

Abstract

Globalization and the digital era have a significant impact on Islamic education, especially in terms of preserving and incorporating Islamic values into the curriculum.  The purpose of this research is to examine how Islamic education faces challenges and opportunities in maintaining core values amidst globalization.  Data were collected using a descriptive qualitative method through literature studies and interviews with Islamic education experts experienced in curriculum development.  Research results show that the Islamic education curriculum must be adjusted if it is to remain relevant and effective in shaping students' character in the modern era.  Utilizing technology to deliver content in a more interactive and engaging way must uphold fundamental principles such as morality, ethics, and spirituality.  So, in order for Islamic education to play its best role in facing the challenges of globalization, the curriculum must be adjusted while maintaining Islamic values.  This research provides educators and policymakers with insights into the importance of developing a curriculum that combines the application of technology and the preservation of Islamic values.
