Abstract

This study aims to develop a Construct 2-based platformer game designed to provide an interactive and challenging gameplay experience for players of all ages. The game features key elements such as character movement, object collection missions, and enemy obstacles that players must avoid. The development process involved multiple stages, including requirements analysis, prototype creation, and alpha and beta testing. A scoring and life system was also implemented to enhance gameplay appeal and increase the challenge. Testing and feedback from external players helped refine control elements and level design. The final results demonstrate that this platformer game delivers an enjoyable experience while enhancing players' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Construct 2 proved to be an effective platform for developing simple yet high-quality games.

Abstract

Learning English is a form of self-development that can help enhance critical thinking skills and broaden cultural insights. A vast amount of information, including scientific research, books, articles, and online resources, is available in English. Mastering this language provides access to a broader spectrum of knowledge. However, learning English is often considered very challenging for some individuals due to differences in language structure, pronunciation, intonation, and cultural aspects. Developing an educational English language game serves as a tool to spark interest in learning the language based on these challenges. This study aims to increase enthusiasm for learning English, improve retention and understanding, and promote engaging contextual learning strategies. A qualitative research method is used in this study. The ADDIE approach is applied in the design process. The outcome of this research is an online educational game application for learning English, titled “Guess Me, Bunny!”. This program serves as a teaching tool, fostering curiosity and facilitating children's English language development.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop a curriculum and educational facilities based on Islamic values to support student diversity in inclusive schools. The main issue addressed is how to integrate Islamic values into inclusive education management to create a learning environment responsive to the needs of all students, including those with special needs. This research was conducted qualitatively through a case study, with data collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis was performed using thematic analysis to identify patterns, themes, and relationships within the collected data. Observation data were utilized to describe the dynamics of interactions in inclusive school environments, while interview data provided in-depth insights into the perceptions of teachers, students, and parents regarding the implementation of Islamic values in inclusive education. Document analysis involved reviewing school policies, curricula, and other supporting documents to understand the extent to which Islamic values are integrated into inclusive education management. The results indicate that the implementation of Islamic values in inclusive education management can enhance mutual respect and openness among students, resulting in an inclusive and harmonious learning atmosphere. Two key components that significantly contribute to the successful implementation of Islamic-based inclusive education are the development of a flexible curriculum and the provision of a supportive environment for diversity

Abstract

Abstract Education plays a vital role in preparing high-quality human resources (HR) to build a nation and a country. Teachers hold a central role in the educational process, as they interact directly with students in daily learning activities at school. The success of education in madrasahs largely depends on the ability of the madrasah principal to lead and manage available resources. This study aims to analyze the influence of madrasah principal leadership on teacher performance at MTs YAPSI Sumber Jaya, West Lampung Regency. The background of the study shows that although the principal has performed well and met competency standards, there are still weaknesses in influencing teacher discipline, such as tardiness and leaving earlier than scheduled. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data is collected through questionnaires from the entire population of teachers at the madrasah, totaling 20 individuals. Statistical analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis regarding the impact of madrasah principal leadership on teacher performance. The results show that the leadership of the madrasah principal significantly affects teacher performance, with a t-value of 3.212 and a t-table value of 2.086, meaning Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.364 indicates that 36.4% of teacher performance is influenced by the leadership of the madrasah principal, while the remaining 63.6% is affected by other factors. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the madrasah principal's leadership plays an important role in improving teacher performance, although other factors also contribute to overall teacher performance.

Abstract

The quality of education is closely related to the quality of teaching staff at all levels of education. Teachers play a central role in shaping a superior and competitive generation. This research aims to explore the strategies of school principals to improve the quality of teachers and other education personnel. To better understand the actions taken by school principals to optimize the quality of teaching through the implementation of Total Quality Management based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, this study uses a qualitative approach with a case study methodology. Based on the findings of the research, Insan principals have implemented a structured and sustainable approach to improving teacher quality through various strategies, including selective teacher recruitment, teacher personality, and competency development, involvement in training and workshops, and awarding outstanding teachers. The implementation of the PDCA cycle in each strategic step allows school principals to monitor, evaluate, and make necessary improvements on a regular basis. The implications of this study enrich the study of education quality management in the form of learning quality, teacher effectiveness, and a culture of continuous improvement in schools. In addition, strategies (Palan, Do, Check, and Act). Then provide recommendations to education policymakers, both at the school level, the education office, and the government.

Abstract

Introducing Hijaiyah letters is an essential first step in early childhood education. To make learning these letters enjoyable, we developed an interactive game application using the Scratch platform. This application aims to help children recognize and memorize Hijaiyah letters in an engaging way. The development methodology employed is the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). We built the application by utilizing various features of Scratch, including animations, sounds, and user interactions. Users are invited to play while learning the Hijaiyah letters. After understanding the letters, they enter a game page where they must navigate toward the provided Hijaiyah letters. To avoid repeated appearances of the same letters, we applied the Linear Congruent Method (LCM) algorithm as a randomization technique. The LCM algorithm generates random numbers to shuffle the appearance of Hijaiyah letters in the game. Testing results show that using Scratch to develop this Hijaiyah letter recognition game is effective and can improve children's ability to recognize these letters.

Abstract

Ketidaksesuaian antara kebutuhan pengembangan guru dan alokasi dana di tingkat sekolah masih menjadi isu utama dalam manajemen pendidikan, khususnya di Sekolah Islam Terpadu. Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi pembiayaan yang digunakan untuk mendukung peningkatan kinerja guru. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan tujuh informan kunci. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penganggaran berbasis kebutuhan, pengelolaan dana yang transparan, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dan motivasi guru. Namun, studi ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan, termasuk ketergantungan pada satu sumber pendanaan dan penggunaan evaluasi yang kurang optimal berdasarkan data kuantitatif. Temuan ini memperkuat teori motivasi Herzberg dalam konteks pendidikan Islam dan menawarkan rekomendasi praktis bagi kepala sekolah dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang sistem pembiayaan yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Pendidikan berkualitas merupakan fondasi penting dalam membentuk generasi yang cerdas, kompetitif, dan berakhlak mulia. Di Indonesia, pendidikan pada jenjang menengah atas memiliki peran strategis dalam mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi atau memasuki dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kualitas pendidikan pada jenjang ini sangat krusial, dan pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana (sarpras) yang efektif menjadi faktor kunci dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kontribusi pengelolaan sarpras terhadap peningkatan kualitas peserta didik di jenjang menengah atas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengidentifikasi penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya yang relevan. Data dikumpulkan melalui pencarian artikel menggunakan software Publish or Perish (PoP) di database Google Scholar. Dari pencarian awal, ditemukan 200 artikel yang kemudian diseleksi berdasarkan judul, menyisakan 89 artikel. Setelah seleksi abstrak, 15 artikel tidak sesuai, dan akhirnya 29 artikel dipilih untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut sebagai landasan SLR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sarpras yang baik sangat berperan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, mendukung pembelajaran aktif, meningkatkan kinerja guru, mengurangi hambatan belajar, dan pada akhirnya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
