Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has sparked questions about the limits and potential of AI in mimicking human cognitive abilities. This research aims to bridge the concept of nafs (soul) in Al-Ghazali’s thought with the development of modern AI. This research uses a comparative method with a qualitative approach. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify similarities and differences between the concept of nafs nathiqah (reason) according to Al-Ghazali and AI. The focus of the analysis includes the potential, limitations, and ethical implications of the two concepts. Al-Ghazali emphasized the importance of reason in acquiring knowledge and developing technology. However, Al-Ghazali also realized the limitations of human reason, namely its inability to fully understand the nature of reality. AI, although capable of mimicking some aspects of the nafs nathiqah, still has fundamental differences. AI operates based on algorithms and data, while nafs nathiqah involves consciousness, intuition, and the ability to understand meaning. AI has great potential to improve the quality of human life, but it needs to be developed and used ethically and responsibly. Al-Ghazali’s thoughts on nafs can provide insights in understanding the potential and limitations of AI, as well as the ethical implications of its use.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how teachers play a role in instilling values of discipline and responsibility in students during Islamic-based thematic learning. In an increasingly complex educational world, teachers must not only inform students but also teach them the positive traits that are essential for their personal and social development. This qualitative study uses interviews, classroom observations, and teaching material analysis for data collection. The research results show that Islamic-based thematic learning incorporates religious values into the learning process, thereby helping to build students' discipline and responsibility. By being a role model, implementing structured routines, and providing a supportive learning environment, teachers play a very important role. Moreover, when Islamic values are incorporated into thematic lessons, students show more responsibility and adherence to rules. This study emphasizes that character education requires a holistic approach. This approach combines daily lessons with religious principles to help students develop into disciplined and responsible individuals.

Abstract

Public relations management includes an important posture on the success of a learning institution. In Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), innovation in public relations management is important in the face of modern occupation and globalization, if not more familiar to the rhythm of public occupation. The purpose of this study is to examine how innovation in public relations management can improve the competitiveness of learning institutions. This research focused on MTs Rawa Selapan using case study as the design and descriptive qualitative methodology. The principal, public relations, vice principal for curriculum and vice principal for student affairs, became the researcher's resource persons. The analysis technique in this study used Miles and Huberman analysis, namely by data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that MTs Rawa Selapan's innovative strategy in managing public relations contributes to increasing competitiveness. Through creative public relations strategies, MTs Rawa Selapan can improve its image in the community, increase social media followers, and improve the standard of education offered by the institution. Percieve assesses MTs Rawa Selapan from the trusted community, as a result of these innovations to open a wider network while increasing relevance

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja guru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan tipe literatur review. Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan dengan mencari beberapa sumber penting diantaranya meliputi sumber primer dari sumber literatur yang membahas tentang kfaktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja guru dan beberapa sumber literatur lain yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis sehingga memperoleh hasil kajian yang menunjukkan bahwa faktor isi pekerjaan, lingkungan kerja, kompensasi, promosi, dan motivasi merupakan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja, khususnya kepuasan kerja pada guru.

Abstract

The workload carried by a teacher is very real, so it can cause stress. Stress conditions are also experienced by Islamic Education Institutions, Muhammadiyah Attanwir Metro Islamic Boarding School. This research is expected to help the Boarding School resolve the factors that cause stress by implementing stress management. The method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques (1) observation (2) interviews and (3) documents. The results showed that the stress factors experienced by the caregiving staff were caused by the bad behavior of students and a lot of workload. Stress management that has been applied is with an individual approach and an organizational approach. There are still other problems found from the application of previous stress management, so the stress management that can be done by the pesantren is by applying sincere intentions, patience, dhikr, repentance, positive and optimistic thinking, and prayer. ABSTRAKBeban kerja yang dipikul seorang guru sangatlah nyata, sehingga bisa menyebabkan terjadinya stes. Kondisi stres juga dialami oleh Lembaga Pendidikan Islam, Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Attanwir Metro. Penelitian ini diharapkan membantu Pesantren menyelesaikan faktor penyebab stres dengan penerapan manajemen stress. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data (1) observasi (2) wawancara dan (3) dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Faktor stres yang dialami tenaga kepengasuhan disebabkan oleh perilaku buruk santri dan beban kerja yang banyak. Manajemen stres yang telah diterapkan oleh Pesantren adalah dengan pendekatan individu dan pendekatan organisasi. Masih ditemukan masalah lain dari diterapkannya manajemen stres sebelumnya, maka manajemen stres yang dapat dilakukan oleh Pesantren yakni dengan menerapkan niat yang ikhlas, Sabar, zikir, taubat, berpikir positif dan optimis, dan shalat.

Abstract

Human resource management is very important for education in managing, organizing and empowering school human resources so that they can function productively to achieve a goal. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of human resource management in improving the quality of education at MI Sabilussa'adah. This research is field research in the form of qualitative research. To get an in-depth picture of the effectiveness of HR Management, several stages of data collection were carried out. Data analysis in research is carried out before entering the field, while in the field and after finishing in the field. The analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis technique. The results of the research show that the implementation of HR management at MI Sabilussa'adah has been carried out quite well, so that it has good effectiveness in improving the quality of education in high quality education which is an important prerequisite in creating quality human resources. In the context of education in Indonesia, madrasas have a significant role in providing quality Islamic education. One of the madrasas that is committed to improving the quality of education. ABSTRAKManajemen sumber daya manusia sangat penting bagi pendidikan dalam mengelola, mengatur, dan memberdayakan SDM sekolah sehingga dapat berfungsi secara produktif untuk mencapai suatu tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MI Sabilussa’adah. Penelitian ini merapakan penelitian lapangan yang berbentuk kualitatif. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang mendalam tentang efektivitas Manajemen SDM, maka dilakukan beberapa tahapan pengumpulan data. Analisis data dalam penelitian dilakukan sebelum memasuki lapangan, selama di lapangan dan setelah selesai dilapangan. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi manajemen SDM di MI Sabilussa’adah telah dilaksanakan dengan cukup baik, sehingga hal tersebut memiliki efektivitas yang baik untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di mutu pendidikan yang tinggi menjadi prasyarat penting dalam menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia, madrasah memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam menyediakan pendidikan Islam yang berkualitas. Salah satu madrasah yang memiliki komitmen untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Innovative and technology-adaptive school leaders can produce curricula that prepare students to compete effectively in the digital age. This research examines the strategies of effective leaders in creating and implementing policies that drive graduate quality improvement. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research that allows researchers to conduct a comprehensive investigation of various documents and relevant literature sources. The results show that modern school leaders can improve the quality of education and prepare students for the future through three main strategies: (1) organizing comprehensive digital skills training to develop students' technological competence, (2) integrating digital technology into the curriculum to ensure the relevance of learning, and (3) establishing strategic partnerships with industry to provide practical experience through internship programs and real job opportunities. These results show that leadership innovation in education is key to dealing with the rapid and complex development of digital technology, ensuring the education system remains relevant and able to prepare learners with the skills needed in the modern era.

Abstract

Abstract: The research describes the principal's leadership strategies in improving the quality of educational services. This research was conducted at the Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Gedong Tataan District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. From the research findings, it can be concluded that leadership strategies are implemented based on two perspectives, namely internal and external. In an internal perspective, which includes teachers and staff, the principal implements a democratic leadership strategy. Through democratic leadership, the principal optimizes the active participation of teachers and staff in decision-making, thereby creating a collaborative work environment focused on quality improvement. Meanwhile, from an external perspective, which includes the community, parents, and other stakeholders, the principal implements a leadership strategy oriented towards a humanistic approach. The humanistic approach emphasizes communication and community involvement, where the principal is responsive to the community's aspirations to build public trust and strengthen the school's positive image. The synergy of these two approaches enables the school to realize quality educational services through the integration of internal and external support.Keywords: Strategy, Leadership, Quality of Educational Services Abstrak: Penelitian mendeskripsikan strategi kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Baitul Insan Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kabupaten Pesawaran Provinsi Lampung. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.  Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan diterapkan berdasarkan dua perspektif, yakni internal dan eksternal. Dalam perspektif internal, yang mencakup guru dan staf, kepala sekolah mengimplementasikan strategi kepemimpinan demokratis. Melalui kepemimpinan demokratis, kepala sekolah mengoptimalkan partisipasi aktif guru dan staf dalam pengambilan keputusan, sehingga tercipta iklim kerja yang kolaboratif dan berorientasi pada peningkatan mutu. Sementara itu, dari sudut pandang eksternal, yang mencakup masyarakat, wali murid dan stakeholder lainnya, kepala sekolah menerapkan strategi kepemimpinan yang berorientasi pada pendekatan humanis.  pendekatan humanis menitikberatkan pada komunikasi dan keterlibatan masyarakat, di mana kepala sekolah responsif terhadap aspirasi komunitas guna membangun kepercayaan publik serta memperkuat citra positif sekolah. Sinergi kedua pendekatan ini memungkinkan sekolah untuk mewujudkan layanan pendidikan yang berkualitas melalui keterpaduan dukungan internal dan eksternal.Kata kunci: Strategi, Kepemimpinan, Mutu Layanan Pendidikan

Abstract

The quality of education is closely related to the quality of teaching staff at all levels of education. Teachers play a central role in shaping a superior and competitive generation. This research aims to explore the strategies of school principals to improve the quality of teachers and other education personnel. To better understand the actions taken by school principals to optimize the quality of teaching through the implementation of Total Quality Management based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, this study uses a qualitative approach with a case study methodology. Based on the findings of the research, Insan principals have implemented a structured and sustainable approach to improving teacher quality through various strategies, including selective teacher recruitment, teacher personality, and competency development, involvement in training and workshops, and awarding outstanding teachers. The implementation of the PDCA cycle in each strategic step allows school principals to monitor, evaluate, and make necessary improvements on a regular basis. The implications of this study enrich the study of education quality management in the form of learning quality, teacher effectiveness, and a culture of continuous improvement in schools. In addition, strategies (Palan, Do, Check, and Act). Then provide recommendations to education policymakers, both at the school level, the education office, and the government.

Abstract

Studi ini mengeksplorasi korelasi antara Prinsip Kesamaan (Similarity) dalam teori Gestalt dengan kemampuan membangun building rapport, khususnya dalam konteks tingkah laku manusia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan pengamatan dan analisis terhadap interaksi antara individu yang berinteraksi dalam situasi yang menuntut pemahaman dan keterlibatan emosional yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara kemampuan memahami dan menekankan kesamaan, etika, presepsi, keterampilan berkomunikasi antara diri sendiri dengan orang lain dengan kemampuan membangun building rapport yang efektif. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya memahami dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Gestalt dalam komunikasi interpersonal untuk mencapai hubungan yang lebih dekat dan bermakna. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya kesamaan dalam membangun hubungan yang kuat dan erat dalam berbagai konteks sosial dan profesional.
