Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of self-efficacy and educational field practice on interest in becoming a teacher for students of the 2018 and 2019 Electrical Engineering Education study program at Padang State University. The research method uses associative quantitative, this method expresses the effect between the independent variable and the dependent variable. All information analyzes based on multiple linear regression analytics. The population is active students from the Department of electrical engineering 2018 and. A total sample of 55 students has carried out PLK. Data collection using a questionnaire. With scoring using a Likert scale. The result of this research indicates that (1) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on interest to become a teacher based on value tcount > ttable at the significance level of less than 5% (2) Educational Field Practice has a positive and significant effect on interest to become a teacher based on value tcount > ttable at the significance level of less than 5% (3) there is a mutually significant effect of self-efficacy and educational field practice on interest to become a teacher based on value Fcount > Ftable at the significance level of less than 5%.

Abstract

Teknologi pada zaman modern ini sangatlah berkembang dengan pesat terutama dalam bidang otomatisasi.Sebagian orang sudah banyak menggunakan alat-alat canggih untuk memudahkan pekerjaannya.Masyarakat hampir sebagian menggunakan parfum untuk membuat aroma tubuh lebih wangi.Pengguna Home Industry sekarang sudah melakukan pengisian ulang parfum secara otomatis.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Membuat alat yang super cepat untuk mengisi ulang parfum ke dalam botol,dengan menggunakan Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai otak dalam perancangan alat.Alat ini menggunakan solenoid valve sebagai pembuka dan penutup keluaran cairan,menggunakan konveyor untuk tempat jalannya botol sesuai perintah yang di berikan.Keypad 4x4 untuk menentukan nilai input pada LCD 20x4 ,dan mengunakan 2 buah jenis sensor yaitu sensor infrared dan waterflow.Penggunaan alat ini menggunakan 4 sample untuk pengujian,dengan menetapkan cairan yang sangat wangi di gunakan. Botol yang di gunakan yaitu botol 1 – 100 ml.Berdasarkan penelitian ini,dapat di simpulkan bahwa alat ini bekerja dengan baik sesuai dengan rancangan prinsip kerjanya dan mendapatkan hasil yang baik.Pengguna Home Industry sangat efektif dan bermanfaat untuk manusia di zaman modern.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the application of the Project-Based Learning Model on the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation at SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat. his study uses experimental research methods. The research design used is a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. This design involves one group being given a pretest (O1), given treatment (X), and given a posttest (O2). The research subjects were students of class XI TITL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat for the academic year 2023/2024. The first measurement was carried out before the subjects were given treatment and the second measurement was after the subjects were treated. The results showed that the application of the Project-Based Learning Model in the class XI TITL 2 Electrical Lighting Installation subject at SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat can improve student learning outcomes. These results can be seen from the realm of knowledge, namely the results of the pretest and posttest which were analyzed using the N-Gain Score formula into the moderate category and using completeness learning outcomes increase from medium to very high categories. With the acquisition of these data, it can be concluded that the application of the Project-Based Learning Model improves student learning outcomes in the XI TITL 2 students is greatly improved in the Electrical Lighting Installation subject.

Abstract

This research aims to develop trainer learning media in portable form on the subject of electrical lighting installation, as well as evaluate its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This learning media is designed with the aim of increasing interaction between teachers and students so that the learning process is active, effective, and efficient. This research is an implementation of research and development (R&D) methods in developing learning media for electrical lighting installation subjects. By using the 4D development method which involves a series of steps from the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The data collected is primary in nature, originating from the participation of expert lecturers, teachers, and students to evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning media developed. Through this method, this research produces in-depth insights regarding the use of learning media in the context of learning electrical lighting installations. The results obtained from this research and development are as follows: the validity results obtained from the lecturer's assessment are declared valid, the results from practicality testing obtained from the average of teacher practicality and student practicality are in the very practical category, and the effectiveness value of media trainer testing Smart buildings fall into the effective category.

Abstract

This research was based on a problem related to the teaching and learning process which is still teacher-centred and lacks variation in the teaching and learning process. The Problem-Based Learning model is present as a solution in increasing the role and participation of students and giving birth to more varied learning. This research aims to determine the presentation value of improving learning outcomes and KKM completion before and after implementing the Problem-Based Learning Model. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental type using a one-group pretest posttest design. The subjects in this research were students of class XI TITL C SMKN 1 Padang. The instruments used were pretest and posttest questions. The object of this research is the Problem-Based Learning Model to improve the learning outcomes of class XI TITL C students at SMKN 1 Padang. This research will look at how presentation scores increase learning outcomes and student learning completion before and after the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model as measured by pretest and posttest sheets. The results of the pretest and posttest scores will be used in calculating the N-Gain Score test. It can be concluded that the increase in learning outcomes that occurred after implementing the Problem-Based Learning Model was high.

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes in microprocessor courses. This can be created if students are not able to condition themselves and take the learning process seriously. The importance of independent learning (self-regulated) of students, then an innovative learning process is also needed that can support student skills. One of the learning processes that can support the improvement of student learning outcomes is blended learning. The purpose of this study is to examine how Google Classroom supports the blended learning approach, which enhances student learning outcomes. This kind of study is known as quasi-experimental. Design of Pretest-Posttest. The research was conducted at the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program at Padang State University with a total of 32 experimental class students and 31 control class students. The research instruments used were observation sheets of the application of the blended learning model, student learning outcomes questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out with technical mean percentage, n-gain, and independent t-test. The results showed that the application of blended learning was effective on student learning outcomes at 5% sig tarag which was seen from the value of tcount > ttable, namely 4.75 > 1.67. There was an increase in student learning outcomes with a posttest value of 80.25. Based on the data that has been analyzed, it can be concluded that the application of blended learning assisted by Google Classroom is effective in supporting to improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of K3 knowledge on K3 behavior of class XI TITL students of SMKN 3 OKU. This study was conducted on 34 students by giving posttest questions about K3 knowledge and using an assessment rubric filled in by the researcher. This study is a study that uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Meanwhile, the type of research used is correlational research because it identifies how a variable affects another variable. Based on these results, it can be seen that a student's understanding of theory is very necessary. Theory is one of the most basic things that must be understood by students before carrying out practice. Theory as a starting point for practice is seen as knowledge about something. The importance of K3 knowledge for students is seen from various aspects. First, understanding K3 provides a strong foundation for students to recognize the risks they face. Second, routine training can make students ready to face work conditions. Third, applying K3 in learning creates a collective basis between students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low academic performance of students in the Applied Mathematics course. Students admitted through the SNMPTN pathway show lower learning outcomes compared to those admitted through the SBMPTN and Mandiri pathways. These differences in academic performance are concerning, as they may reflect the influence of educational background and admission pathways on students' academic readiness. Therefore, this study aims to analyze differences in student learning outcomes in the Applied Mathematics course within the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Padang, class of 2022, based on educational background (high school and vocational school) and university entrance pathways (SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Mandiri). This research employs a quantitative approach with a comparative method. Data were collected through documentation of student grades and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The findings indicate that there is no significant difference in learning outcomes based on educational background and university entrance pathways. The results suggest that factors other than educational background and admission pathways may play a more dominant role in determining students' academic performance in the Applied Mathematics course.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive learning media for Restaurant Operations 1 course in the D4 Hospitality Management study programme at Padang State University. This course is a compulsory course with a weight of 2 credits, consisting of 1 credit of theory and 1 credit of practice. Currently, this course still uses modules in the form of PDF files that only contain text and images. Therefore, developer software, especially Canva, is needed to create interactive learning media. Canva is an online design tool that can be accessed through websites and apps. This research uses the ADDIE development method, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, this study only implemented the first three stages, namely analysis, design, and development. The analysis stage consists of needs analysis and multimedia system analysis. The design stage includes media structure design, content design, and interface design. The result of the development stage is an interactive learning media that is in accordance with the applicable competencies. The initial product was validated by material experts and media experts. Suggestions and input from experts are used for improvement so that the learning media becomes valid and can be used in Restaurant Operations 1 courses.
