Abstract

AbstrakThe quality of cooking oil sold in the market needs to be checked to ensure its health. cooking oil quality detector is designed to make it easier for the public to know the quality of the cooking oil. The research method is to make tools and conduct testing. The test is carried out by measuring the viscosity and density using the tool made. When the viscosity of 985 fuzzification was "good", and the density was 542.93 Kg/mL of "good" fuzzification, the fuzzification was processed by a fuzzy inference system, then defuzzification occurred in the form of oil quality results. fried "good". When the viscosity of 932 fuzzification is "sufficient", and the density is 618.69 Kg/mL of "moderate" fuzzification, a fuzzy inference system occurs, a defuzzification process is "moderate", when the viscosity of 926 fuzzification is "bad", and a density of 631.31 Kg/mL fuzzification "bad", fuzzy inference system occurs, defuzzification process occurs with "bad" results. To ensure that the results are accurate, the sample is taken to the BPOM which measures free fatty acids. From the BPOM test results converted to viscosity and density. Abstract

The reliability of the power transformer depends on the performance of the its bushing. Transformer bushings subjected to hot conditions or high temperatures for a long period of time can cause bushing failure. Bushing failure can result the damage such as bursting of the conservator tank, explosion and fire. The purpose of this study was to determine the temperature hot spot on the transformer bushing at the Unit II Pekalongan Substation (GI) in order to avoid the damage of transformer. The method that used to analyze the hot spot temperature on the transformer bushing is the finite element. The finite element method is carried out by dividing the bushing parts into small elements to be calculated so that the hot spot temperature value on the transformer bushing is obtained. The result of the highest hot spot temperature on the transformer bushing which were carried out four times using the finite element method is . Based on the IEEE standard, the hot spot temperature of transformer bushing can’t be more than . This result showed that transformer bushng of Unit II Pekalongan Substation are still in the normal category.

Abstract

AbstrakEnergy measurement using a kWh meter must have good accuracy. The increasing use of non-linear electrical equipment causes harmonics in the network. This study aims to measure and analyze voltage, current, power, power factor and the percentage of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). The research was carried out by designing and making a device in the form of an electrical circuit connected to a semi-digital kWh meter with a fixed load of 10 incandescent lamps with a power of 100 watts each and 1 single-phase induction motor. The test results show that the incandescent lamp load test produces a THD-I percentage of 3.5% and a THD-V percentage of 3.7% with a measurement error value of 0.675%. In the motor load test, the percentage of current harmonics becomes high at 16.6% and the THD-V percentage is 3.4% and the measurement error value is 3.48%. In testing the variation of the load combination of an induction motor and incandescent lamps, the percentage of THD-I is 5.8% and the percentage of THD-V is 3.2% with an error value of 3.57%. The greater the THD percentage value, the greater the reading error on the semi-digital kWh meter and the worse the resulting power factor value. Kata kunci: Non-linear load, kWh Meter, THD

Abstract

Rawa Makmur is located in Muara Bangka Hulu District, Bengkulu City, with an area of 150 hectares and a population of 1,468 people. This area in the form of a swamp has experienced a 30% change in the shape of the land in a period of 3 years and causes flooding during the rainy season. The existing drainage system is unable to accommodate and drain the river. This problem requires planning an environmentally friendly drainage system design (eco-drainage), one of which is using infiltration wells. This study aims to overcome stagnant water in Rawa Makmur Village by implementing an environmentally oriented drainage system (eco-drainage) using infiltration wells. The data used are primary data (measurement of canal dimensions) and secondary data in the form of rainfall data, topographic surveys, soil testing and other supporting data which are processed using hydrological analysis and hydraulic analysis. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, it was found that the intensity of rainfall with a return period of 10 years was 11.25 mm/hour and the planned flood discharge was 0.1039 m3/s. The calculation results are used to design environmentally sound drainage using infiltration wells. The results of the analysis obtained specifications for the depth of infiltration wells of 1.50 m, a diameter of 0.5 m, the distance between infiltration wells is 50 m. The planned eco-drainage can accommodate 0.2943 m3 and can delay water runoff for 3.5846 minutes before seeping into the ground.

Abstract

Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a pregnancy complication that is often overlooked as it is typically considered normal. If HG is not properly treated, nutrition will not be fulfilled which can negatively affect maternal and fetal health and even maternal and fetal death. The exact cause of HG is not identified, so there are no effective preventive methods. However early detection can help for prompt and appropriate treatment. Therefore, a monitoring system for pregnancy conditions was designed for HG early detection. This system employs the MPX5050 DP pressure sensor for measuring blood pressure, the MAX30100 for assessing maternal heart rate and oxygen saturation, the MAX4466 sensor for monitoring fetal heart rate, and an expert system using the certainty factor method to diagnose the probability of hyperemesis gravidarum. The expert system achieves an accuracy of 93.33%. In comparison to the aneroid sphygmomanometer, the designed sphygmomanometer reveals a mean difference of 3.5 mmHg for diastolic pressure, with a standard deviation below 8 mmHg for both systolic and diastolic pressures. The measurement of heart rate and oxygen saturation has a deviation of 1.8 % and 1.02 % respectively. These deviations align with the standards specified by the Ministry of Health for medical devices. For the fetal heart rate, the mean deviation is 3.4 bpm, and the measurement error is 2.38%. Thus, this system can be utilized to monitor pregnancy conditions, enabling the early detection of hyperemesis gravidarum

Abstract

Sampah merupakan isu lingkungan yang rumit karena hampir semua aktivitas sehari-hari menghasilkan sampah. Indonesia menempati posisi kedua dalam produksi sampah dunia dengan timbunan sampah mencapai 67,8 juta ton pada pertengahan 2020. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah melalui teknologi dan pengetahuan dasar dalam pengolahan sampah. Kelurahan Sawah Lebar Baru telah memiliki mesin pencacah dan pencair sampah plastik untuk mengolah sampah plastik menjadi paving blok atau produk lainnya. Namun, kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang perawatan mesin dapat menjadi permasalahan. Perawatan mesin memiliki peran sangat penting dalam pengolahan sampah plastik, karena merupakan faktor yang tidak bisa diabaikan. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memastikan bahwa mesin tetap beroperasi dengan optimal dengan menerapkan sistem perawatan mesin yang efektif. Kegiatan perawatan mesin harus dilakukan secara teratur untuk menjaga kualitas produksi sampah plastik dan meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan sampah. Pemberian pelatihan perawatan mesin pencacah dan pencair sampah plastik dapat menjadi langkah awal untuk mengoptimalkan pengolahan sampah plastik dengan sistem perawatan yang baik dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam memperbaiki mesin.
