Abstract

Pelatihan merupakan sarana penguatan dan peningkatan kapasitas seseorang dalam melakukan aktivitas, khususnya kemampuan komunikasi. Demikian halnya Biro SDM Polda Metro Jaya melakukan pelatihan peningkatan kemampuan fungsi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) bekerjasama dengan FIKOM Univ. Prof. Dr. Moestopo (Beragama) melalui kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Kegiatan ini diikuti 121 peserta dari personil Biro SDM Polda Metro Jaya. Dalam pelatihan ini dijelaskan pengertian, proses, fungsi dan jenis komunikasi. Penggunaan media komunikasi juga menjadi materi yang disampaikan dalam kegiatan ini. Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk peningkatan kapasitas komunikasi dalam upaya meningkatkan citra Polri. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan terdiri dari ceramah, diskusi dan praktek melalui pengalaman peserta. Dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat didapatkan hasil bahwa komunikasi itu perlu dipelajari dan dirancang dengan baik. Komunikasi yang baik akan memperkuat citra SDM serta dapat meningkatkan citra organisasi. Melalui kegiatan ini juga diperoleh hasil bahwa Biro SDM Polda Metro Jaya perlu melakukan kegiata secara berkala sehingga mampu berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman dengan personil Polri lainnya.

Abstract

Optimalisasi pengelolaan media sosial dengan menggunakan SMO (Social Media Optimization) menjadi kunci dalam keberhasilan ekonomi digital. Kalangan entrepreneur mahasiswa yang saat ini banyak terjun dalam ekonomi digital telah aktif menggunakan SMO melalui penggunaan website dan instagram. Penggunaan SMO untuk meningkatkan traffic sehingga produk mereka dikenal publik dan laku di pasaran. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana optimalisasi penggunaan SMO pada ekonomi digital kalangan entrepreneur mahasiswa di Jakarta. Untuk metodologi, paradigma penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan konstruktivisme dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kalangan entrepreneur mahasiswa di Jakarta menggunakan SMO dengan baik, walaupun belum semua menggunakan karena kurang memahami dengan baik cara memanfaatkannya. Pada bagian lain, penggunaan SMO belum digunakan secara konsisten sehingga terjadi perbedaan pada hasil kegiatan ekonomi digital yang mereka jalankan. Adapun simpulan penelitian ini perlu literasi digital secara berkala pada kalangan entrepreneur mahasiswa yang sudah berjalan dan bagi mereka yang akan memulai usaha ekonomi digital. Perlunya SMO guna meningkatkan mutu produk penjualan dan branding (merk) di era ekonomi digital.

Abstract

The phenomenon of self-acceptance or self-love is increasingly relevant in today's society. The beauty standards formed in the community often lead individuals to feel less confident about themselves, which can negatively impact their self-image. In response to this issue, the concept of body positivity has emerged as a form of self-acceptance and a positive view of one's own body. These body positivity values are disseminated through various mass media, including films. The film "Imperfect" is one such medium that addresses themes related to body positivity.This study aims to analyze body positivity awareness through a reception study among students. The research employs Stuart Hall's reception analysis approach, utilizing primary data from direct interviews and secondary data from relevant literature studies. The findings of this research indicate that reception varies depending on the information and knowledge received by an individual. In the reception study of the film "Imperfect," most informants viewed body positivity as a positive self-view. The analysis using Stuart Hall's reception theory revealed that two informants held a dominant hegemonic position, one informant was in a negotiating position, and two informants were in an oppositional position.

Abstract

Pengelolaan inventaris dan penjualan yang efektif sangat penting untuk memastikan ketersediaan barang dan pengelolaan keuangan perusahaan. Namun, pencatatan manual sering menimbulkan masalah seperti ketidakefisienan dan ketidaktepatan stok data. Penelitian ini di buat untuk perancangan sistem informasi berbasis web menggunakan framework codeigniter di Formosa Ban untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, termasuk mempermudah proses penjualan, pencatatan inventaris, serta menghasilkan laporan yang lebih akurat dan efisien. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan metode SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) menggunakan pendekatan prototyping, yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan karyawan di Formosa Ban. Sistem ini dirancang dengan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter, bahasa pemrograman PHP, database MySQL, web server XAMPP dan aplikasi VSCode. Sistem yang di hasilkan adalah sistem informasi penjualan ban berbasis website.

Abstract

The implementation of public services is an effort by the state to meet the basic needs and civil rights of every citizen to goods, services, and administrative services provided by public service providers. Likewise, the Indonesian National Police, especially the Banten Regional Police, communicates to provide public services. Through public services, the presence of state institutions can be felt by the community with various forms of communication adapted to the existence of the police itself. To provide input on how the Banten Regional Police communicates, it is necessary to make various efforts so that public services can be improved and improved. One of the methods that is trying to be done in response to findings in various studies that have been carried out related to public services in Indonesia is to carry out Community Service in the form of discussions and knowledge dissemination entitled "Communication of the Banten Regional Police through Public Service". The aim is to improve communication and improve services from various parties both at the Polda level to the Polsek level throughout the Banten region, this activity is carried out by holding a Training of Trainers (ToT) and exposure related to the importance of communication and participation of police members. Evaluation of the implementation of activities is carried out by means of lectures and discussions on materials related to communication and public services.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of promotion through social media, word of mouth and service quality on buying interest at Raja HP ​​Tenggarong simultaneously and partially. The number of respondents is 100 respondents. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously all independent variables (Promotion through social media, Word of Mouth and Service Quality) in this study have a significant effect on the dependent variable (Purchase Interest) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and F count > F table ( 50,528 > 2.70). Partially, Social Media Promotion Variables have no significant effect on buying interest. Word of Mouth and Service Quality variables have a significant positive effect on Purchase Intention. Based on the results of data analysis, the dominant variable influencing buying interest is service quality. Adjusted R Square of 0.600 equals 60%. This value indicates that 60% of buying interest is influenced by promotions through social media, Word Of Mouth, and Service Quality, while the remaining 40% is influenced by other factors. Abstract

Film merupakan media komunikasi massa yang efektif dalam menyampaikan suatu pesan kepada khalayak luas. Film menghadirkan visual bergerak serta didukung sehingga pesan yang disampaikan dapat berupa alur cerita yang menarik dan mudah diterima dengan baik oleh khalayak. Film Battle of Surabaya diadaptasi dari kisah perjuangan rakyat Surabaya serta para tokoh pahlawan nasional dalam mempertahankan kemerdekaan Indonesia pada pertempuran 10 November 1945 di Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran heroik Prof. Dr. Moestopo dalam film animasi Battle of Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce yang terdiri dari representamen, object, dan interpretant dengan paradigma kontruktivisme. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran heroik Prof. Dr. Moestopo dalam film Battle of Surabaya, keterlibatan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dalam peristiwa pertempuran Surabaya. Adapun dengan tiga unsur tanda semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce yakni representamen menggambarkan adegan peran heroik Prof. Dr. Moestopo pada film Battle of Surabaya, object mendeskripsikan adegan pada peran heroik Prof. Dr. Moestopo, dan interpretant menafsirkan suatu makna pada gambar dan deskripsi yang mengadegankan peran heroik Prof. Dr. Moestopo dalam film Battle of Surabaya.

Abstract

The rapid growth of internet technology and social media penetration in Indonesia increases the risk of cyberbullying among adolescents. Therefore, digital literacy-based interventions and positive bystander empowerment are needed to build a safe and empathetic digital culture. This study aims to design a digital literacy-based communication model for positive bystander interventions in preventing cyberbullying among adolescents in Jakarta, West Java, and North Sumatra, taking into account variations in digital exposure and sociocultural contexts. The research method used a naturalistic qualitative approach with a descriptive case study, collecting primary data through observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), as well as secondary data from documentation and literature. The FGD results indicate that digital literacy is key to shaping adolescents' proactive attitudes. In Medan, participants who had not previously received digital literacy training demonstrated high enthusiasm, awareness of social media, and courage to oppose cyberbullying in line with Batak cultural values. In Depok, participants acknowledged the importance of digital literacy, but limited parental and teacher supervision limited their involvement. In Jakarta, adolescents were more rationally mature, but apathy, urban behavior, and minimal community supervision limited the implementation of interventions. Overall, digital literacy improved adolescents' ability to assess information, understand ethical consequences, and act constructively in the face of cyberbullying. The research yielded an interactive communication model that positions adolescents as active participants, strengthens ethical skills and courage, and encourages engagement with peers, families, schools, and digital platforms to create a proactive cyberbullying prevention ecosystem. Future research is recommended to test the model's effectiveness on a larger scale and conduct longitudinal evaluations of online prosocial behavior.

Abstract

Maintaining a remote villa in a blank spot area presents challenges in ensuring optimal environmental conditions without the direct presence of the owner. This study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) system using the XBee S2C module with the Zigbee remote monitoring and control protocol. This system utilizes temperature, humidity, lighting, and water level sensors connected to electronic device controls such as lights, fans, and water pumps. Sensor Nodes are placed in the villa to collect data, while Coordinator Nodes are located in areas with internet access to upload data to the Thingspeak platform. Data is visualized through an interactive web interface that allows for remote control up to 1.03 km. The test results show a data transmission success rate of 100% with an average control response time of 6.5 and 9 seconds. This system offers the best solution for managing a villa in a blank spot area, making it easy for owners to monitor and control electronic equipment in real-time. This research contributes to developing WSN and IoT technologies, especially for applications in remote areas with website platform.
