Abstract

The provision of breastmilk for newborns is one of the efforts to prevent death and malnutrition in infants and toddlers. This study aimed to determine the relationship of the husband's knowledge and support with breastfeeding in Lubuklinggau City. This type of research was an analytical survey research with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used was random sampling to obtain a sample of 60 mothers. Data collection used primary data in the form of a questionnaire designed to test the mother's knowledge and husband's support. The data analysis technique was univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square statistical test. The results showed that from 60 mothers, there were 22 mothers (36.7%) who had good knowledge, 34 mothers (56.7%) who supported their husbands well, and 32 mothers (53.3%) who exclusively breastfed their babies. This study found a significant relationship between husband's knowledge and support with exclusive breastfeeding in Lubuklinggau City with a moderate category. This provides information that to increase the mother's role in breastfeeding, and it needs to be supported by adequate knowledge about the benefits of breastfeeding for babies and family support, especially the husband as the closest person to the mother. This study recommends the importance of promoting exclusive breastfeeding for infants from various media and increasing the activity of posyandu cadres in providing information about exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubugan kompetensi operator sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan (SIAK) dengan kinerja pelayanan pada dinas kependudukan dan pencatatan sipil Kota Cilegon.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian asosiatif dan komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Cilegon. Teknik pengambilan sample yang digunakan adalah sample jenuh dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 34 responden. Kompetensi operator sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan (X) dapat dikatakan kategori “Baik” indikator tertinggi yaitu nilai (19,83%) dan indikator terendah dari variabel ini yaitu minat (9,33%). Kinerja pelayanan (Y) dapat dikatakan kategori “Baik” indikator tertinggi yaitu kemudahan dan keadilan (20,24%) dan indikator terendah dari variabel ini yaitu profesionalisme petugas (19,63%). Kompetensi operator sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan (X) terhadap kinerja pelayanan (Y) diperoleh hasil bahwa kompetensi operator sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pelayanan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t yaitu Diketahui bahwa nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu (11,989 > 2,036) dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,00 (0,00 < 0,05) berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kompetensi operator sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan (X) terhadap kinerja pelayanan (Y). Hasil dari uji koefisien dertiminasi yang dilakukan pada kompetensi operator sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan (X) terhadap kinerja pelayanan (Y) diperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0,818. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa variabel kompetensi operator sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan (X) mempengaruhi sebesar 81,8% terhadap kinerja pelayanan (Y) sedangkan sisanya yaitu sebesar 19,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Bahasa Inggris pada tingkat dasar bertujuan agar peserta didik dapat mengembangkan kompetensi berkomunikasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing bangsa dalam masyarakat global. Kemampuan bahasa Inggris dapat dilihat dari kekayaan kosakata yang dimiliki. Mengingat pentingnya peranan kosakata dalam berbahasa maka pembelajaran kosakata menjadi perhatian penting dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Mempelajari kosakata Bahasa Inggris bukanlah hal yang mudah karena seringkali peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam perolehan kosakata baru itu. Salah satu upaya kreatif dalam pembelajaran agar menarik yaitu menggunakan media flashcard dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris dan menambah kosakata peserta didik. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah dengan tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a crucial skill that should be mastered by students in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) where access to updated scientific information often requires a proper understanding of English texts. This research aimed at investigating the difficulties faced by Fish Processing Technology students in comprehending English reading texts which are relevant to their field. This was quantitative descriptive research where the data were collected through questionnaires and worksheets involving 20 second semester students. The research results show that 100% of the students have a lack of attention. Their focus is easily distracted while reading a text, especially English texts. Next, 95% of the students have limited knowledge of generic structure. They cannot understand the text's meaning because they do not know how to translate it grammatically. After that, 85% of the students faced difficulties in extracting the text meaning because of their lack of vocabulary mastery. They get a lot of unfamiliar words in the texts. Then, 75% of the students find obstacles in understanding the meaning of the text because they have no background knowledge about the text topic. 55% of the students have no motivation in reading, especially English texts. 50% of the students have limited working memories. Therefore, the researcher concluded that there are seven difficulties faced by the students, named attention, knowledge of generic structure, vocabulary, sentence comprehension, background of knowledge, motivation and working memory

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to identify and classify spelling and vocabulary errors made by students in the process of learning English. This study utilizes an error analysis approach to investigate students’ written work, emphasizing spelling and vocabulary errors. Methodology: This study utilizes an error analysis approach to investigate students’ written work, emphasizing spelling and vocabulary errors. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to analyze students’ written assignments. Main Findings: The findings indicate that the most frequent writing errors involve prepositions and pronouns, each accounting for 0.04%, followed by article at 0.07%, and word choice at 0.09%. The most frequent writing error identified is related to spelling, accounting for 2.52%. The most common vocabulary-related writing error was punctuation, accounting for 6.78%, followed by subject-verb agreement at 0.45%. Errors in fragments and capitalization each made up 0.23%, while errors in the use of tenses (0.07%) and omissions (0.04%). Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in its focus on two micro-linguistic aspects (spelling and vocabulary) that are rarely explored in previous studies. Using an error analysis approach, it identifies and categorizes students’ errors, offering practical insights and contributions to improving the teaching of academic English writing at the tertiary education level.

Abstract

Kenaikkan angka stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sinar Baru Kecamatan Sungailiat Kabupaten Bangka dimana per-tahun 2023 sebesar 0,01% balita yang menderita stunting, maka dirasa perlu diberikan perhatian khusus dan diteliti lebih lanjut tentang Analisis Kasus Kejadian Stunting Pada Balita Usia 0-59 Bulan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sinar Baru Kecamatan Sungailiat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus Cara pengambilan subjek penelitian dengan menggunakan purposive sampling Pada penelitian ini terdapat dua macam informan, yaitu informan utama dan informan pendukung Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah: Ibu yang memiliki anak dengan status stunting berjumlah 3 Ibu Balita usia 0-59 Bulan. Informan pendukung dalam penelitian ini adalah Petugas Kesehatan Primer atau Penanggung Jawab Program Gizi di Puskesmas Sinar Baru yang berjumlah 1 Orang dan Ibu Kader wilayah Sinar Baru 2 Orang. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan wawancara mendalam Model analisis pada penelitian ini adalah analisis konten atau isi, dimana peneliti akan memulai analisis konten dengan menggunakan data kualitatif berupa uraian (text), membuat hipotesa, kemudian menginterpretasikan hasilnya dalam bentuk deskripsi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Ibu balita mengaku kurang mengetahui tentang stunting. sikap ibu balita setelah mengetahui anak balita stunting lebih condrong pasrah dan tidak terlalu peduli. Ibu balita yang mendapat dukungan dari keluarga, suami, serta orang terdekat, lebih fokus, semangat dalam mengambil tindakan selain itu dukungan kader dari posyandu sangat membantu. dukungan oleh kader dengan antar jemput ketika posyandu, pemberian makanan tambahan yang diadakan oleh puskesmas dan berbagai dukungan. Pemerintah memiliki peran penting dalam menanggulangi penurunan stunting serta memastikan ibu balita mendapatkan informasi yang benar dan dukungan yang dibutuhkan oleh ibu balita.

Abstract

English is a compulsory subject that must be taken by every student at Politeknik Palu. The material provided must fit the needs of students and be useful for them. So it is necessary to do a needs analysis so that students get the material they need to support their learning process at this time or in the future. This study was conducted to analyze the need for learning English based on ESP. The research was conducted using descriptive methods and qualitative approaches. The research sample is students who have taken English courses in the Agricultural Products Processing Technology Study Program. Sampling using a purposive random sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques in the form of numbers and percentages. The results showed that the needs of the Agricultural Products Processing Technology study program students for ESP English courses varied greatly, so it could be concluded that they needed English not only for their current needs but also for future work purposes.
