Abstract

Abstrak Budaya Semarangan mengandung akulturasi beberapa budaya yang lebur menjadi satu. Akan tetapi proses akulturasi ini sepertinya belum menyentuh pada karya tari anak yang berkembang di Semarang. Pada dasarnya anak mempunyai dunia yang unik. Hal tersebut tercermin dalam segala tingkah polahnya yang tidak meninggalkan naluri dasarnya yaitu bermain. Keunikan ini tentunya menarik untuk diangkat menjadi sebuah karya tari, mengingat di Semarang juga belum ada penelitian untuk menciptakan karya tari anak dengan gaya Semarangan. Pengembangan gerak tari anak gaya Semarangan perlu dilakukan agar kedepannya Semarang bisa memiliki gaya khas tari anak yang dapat diwariskan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengungkap sejumlah data mengenai proses koreografi Kuncup Semarang (Proses Koreografi Tari Anak Sebagai Upaya Konservasi Budaya Semarangan). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik garap tari atau penelitian artistik tentang karya tari secara research by practic. Tahapan penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) observasi; (2) eksplorasi-improvisasi; (3) komposisi atau pembentukan; dan (4) presentasi atau pementasan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan karya tari “Kuncup Semarang” dengan format seni pertunjukkan dan jenis pertunjukan tari. Kuncup merupakan bunga yang belum mekar, dalam hal ini merujuk kepada anak-anak yang belum menginjak remaja ataupun dewasa. “Kuncup Semarang” merupakan gambaran keceriaan anak-anak Semarang ketika sedang bermain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu karya tari “Kuncup Semarang” merupakan sebuah karya tari anak yang mengandung perpaduan unsur budaya Jawa, Cina, dan Islam, baik melalui garapan gerak, musik, maupun rias dan busananya. Semarangan culture contains the acculturation of several cultures which are fused into one. However, this acculturation process seems not to have touched on children's dances that are developing in Semarang. Basically, children have a unique world. This is reflected in all his actions that do not leave his basic instinct, namely to play. This uniqueness is certainly interesting to be appointed as a dance, considering that in Semarang there has also been no research to create children's dances in the Semarangan style. The development of Semarangan style children's dance movements needs to be done so that in the future Semarang can have a distinctive style of children's dance that can be inherited. The research objective was to reveal a number of data regarding the choreography process of Kuncup Semarang (Children's Dance Choreography Process as a Cultural Conservation Effort of Semarangan). Research by practic. The research stages were as follows: (1) observation; (2) exploration-improvisation; (3) composition or formation; and (4) presentations or performances. This research produces a dance "Kuncup Semarang" with a performance art format and a type of dance performance. Kuncup are flowers that have not yet bloomed, in this case referring to children who have not yet reached adolescence or maturity. "Kuncup Semarang" is a picture of the joy of Semarang children while playing. The conclusion of this research is the dance "Kuncup Semarang" is a children's dance that contains a combination of elements of Javanese, Chinese and Islamic culture, both through the work of motion, music, as well as make-up and costume.

Abstract

Tari Erai-erai merupakan tarian yang tumbuh dan berkembang ditengah-tengah etnik Melayu Lematang dalam masyarakat di Kabupaten Lahat dan sekitarnya. Tarian ini terinspirasi dari ungkapan rasa syukur atas hasil panen yang melimpah. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis nilai estetis yang terkandung dalam tari erai-erai dan menganalisis nilai kearifan lokal tari erai-erai sebagai media pendidikan pada masyarakat Melayu Lematang di Kabupaten Lahat. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan etnokoreologi dan etnopedagogi. Desain penelitian studi kasus dengan fokus penelitian kepada nilai dan tempat penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah obsevasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Teknik keabsahan data memakai teknik triangulasi waktu yang didukung oleh konsep etik dan emik. Teknik keabsahan data didukung dengan komponen analisis interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa tari erai-erai mengandung nilai budaya terutama nilai estetis yang dilihat dari karya seni tersebut didukung oleh teori Djelantik mengenai aspek wujud, bobot dan penampilan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using a smart class virtual laboratory based on Science Manipulative Learning with the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile through PhET Simulation and OLABS on the science process skills of PGSD students. This research is an experimental study with a research design of a nonequivalent control group design and sampling technique by purposive sampling. The sample in the study was PGSD students in semester 2 of the SD Science Laboratory course in Group J and M totaling 50 people. Data collection techniques used tests and non-tests. Tests are used to measure science process skills through Pre-test and Post-test. Non-test is used to observe student activities during learning using a smart class virtual laboratory based on science manipulative learning through PhET Simulation with observation sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use the Normality Test of gain (Normalized-Gain), Homogeneity Test, Test the effect between variables using a Paired Sample T-test, and the effect between variables using an Independent T-test. The results and analysis can conclude that the application of Smart Class Virtual Laboratory Based on Science Manipulative Learning Dimensioned Pancasila Student Profile Through PhET Simulation and OLABS effectively improves science process skills. This is evidenced by the pretest and posttest N-Gain test values, which obtained a score of 0.64 with a moderate increase in the category.

Abstract

Barongan Blora is a traditional folk dance in Central Java that has existed since 1830. The passage of time brings up new social conceptions that influence the implementation of Barongan performances, particularly those relating to gender. This research aims to look into the gender roles of Barongan dancers and how they interact with social and cultural components of society. Gender interpretation aims to understand the social construction of men’s and women’s roles in society. These roles include male and female dancers whose motions express diverse traits while maintaining the performance’s significant values. This study employs a qualitative research design with case studies on various Barongan groups in Blora, Indonesia. In May 2023, data was gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results suggest that cat motions dominate the Barongan dance steps, which are supported by strong, energetic, and nimble characters. On the other hand, each character’s movements are tailored to the roles and the dancers who portray them. Male dancers are cast as characters who appear strong and emphasize masculine attributes, such as Barongan, Gembong Amijoyo, Joko Lodro, Untup, and Nayantaka. Meanwhile, female dancers who play male characters, such as Barongan and Jathilan, must be agile, strong, and feminine. Gender distinctions in Barongan performance can be noticed in the movements created. Still, there are no substantial disparities in physical appearance between male and female dancers because both needed a physique corresponding to the characters being played. The Barongan performance also impacts society’s social and cultural features. Regarding social qualities, Barongan embodies the populist traits of the Blora people, which are based on humanist principles. In terms of culture, Barongan Blora has evolved to keep up with changing times, yet it remains and can be appreciated by all levels of society. Due to its uniqueness, Barongan’s preservation is still carried out in line with the times while maintaining cultural values and content in physical and non-physical forms.

Abstract

Elementary School Purwoyoso 04 is experiencing problems regarding the lack of use of digital-based learning media and less than optimal learning outcomes in art lesson content. The problem formulation in the research describes how to develop, test the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of LIRMASETAD Learning media. This research procedure uses ten stages of sugiono development. Development was done using Canva web design, which was then integrated into Linktree. This development research aims to determine the application of learning media and the feasibility and effectiveness of LIRMASETAD learning media. The research results show that LIRMASETAD Learning is suitable for understanding with a presentation feasibility percentage by media experts of 88% and the feasibility of teaching components by material experts of 90.6%. The effectiveness of the media is demonstrated through normality test results. Based on calculations, a sig value of 0.165 is obtained, assuming that if the sig value is >0.05, the data is normally distributed. Based on the results of the n-gain test, the cognitive n-gain score was 0.63, with an average difference of 33.2. So, the n-gain value on cognitive pretest and posttest learning outcomes in large group use trials is in the high category, with an effectiveness level of 63,557, which is quite effective. The increase in average shows that learning using LIRMASETAD media is effective as a learning medium. Suggestions for further research include applying media to more diverse material to be used in other learning processes.

Abstract

Tari Eklek diakui sebagai salah satu produk budaya unggulan Kabupaten Pacitan karena lahir dari local wisdom Pacitan. Akan tetapi upaya pewarisan dan konservasi tari Eklek ini nampaknya belum maksimal. Perlu adanya upaya pewarisan tari ini ke sekolah-sekolah formal. Guru-guru seni budaya sebagai ujung tombak pewarisan budaya tentunya memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah melatih guru seni budaya di Kabupaten Pacitan agar mampu menguasai teknik Tari Eklek sehingga dapat meneruskannya kepada generasi mendatang sebagai bagian dari upaya pelestarian budaya lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian dibagi menjadi 3 tahap, yaitu: (1) Ceramah dan demonstrasi untuk memperkenalkan Tari Eklek; (2) Pelatihan, untuk mendalami teknik tari; (3) Penarikan kesimpulan dan evaluasi untuk mengukur penguasaan materi oleh peserta. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru seni budaya dalam menarikan Tari Eklek, serta terjalinnya sinergi antara pengabdi, pemerintah daerah, dan lembaga pelestari resmi Tari Eklek untuk keberlanjutan program dalam skala yang lebih luas sebagai wujud konservasi budaya di Kabupaten Pacitan. Pelatihan ini diharapkan menjadi model bagi kegiatan konservasi budaya lainnya dan mendorong penerapan pengajaran Tari Eklek secara lebih luas di berbagai sekolah di wilayah Pacitan.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengalaman belajar dan bermain anak usia dini kisaran 5-6 tahun di KB/TK Darussalam P4A Semarang yang memiliki keterbatasan ruang. Melalui metode Pendidikan Masyarakat, kami merancang dan mengimplementasikan permainan edukatif "Plastic Rush" dan "Motoric Wall". Uji coba langsung menunjukkan respon positif dari anak-anak dan guru, menegaskan efektivitas permainan sebagai strategi pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan pelatihan dan penyuluhan praktis yang meningkatkan kualitas interaksi bermain dan belajar.

Abstract

Development of Cultural Monopoly Learning in Intangibel Cultural Heritage Materials Elementary School. Objectives: The ineffective use of learning media and low student learning outcomes are one of the problems found at Kedungjenar Elementary School. This study was conducted with the aim of developing, testing the feasibility, and testing the effectiveness of game-based media, namely cultural monopoly with the material of intangible cultural heritage in the fifth grade.  Methods: he research method used in this research is R&D (Reasearch and Development) with research design by Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques using tests (pretest and posttest), with non-test techniques (observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation). Findings: The results showed that the media was feasible to use based on the percentage of assessments from media experts and material experts of 90,15% with a very feasible category. The analysis technique used normality test, t-test, and n-gain test. The results of the data normality test showed a sig value. > 0,05 so that the data is normally distributed. The t-test results obtained 19,270 with sig. <0,05 indicates that there is an increase in learning outcomes before and after using cultural monopoly media. While the results of the N-Gain test obtained an increase in learning outcomes of 0,6498 with moderate criteria. Conclusion: With an increase in the average, it can be concluded that the cultural monopoly learning media on intangible cultural heritage material is effectively used in fifth grade elementary school. Keywords: learning media, monopoly game, intangible culture.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i3.2024126

Abstract

Metode Euritmik Dalcroze merupakan metode pengajaran musik dengan menggunakan elemen gerak pada pengajarannya yang diciptakan oleh Emilie Jaques Dalcroze. TK Al-Battani menerapkan metode Euritmik Dalcroze agar peserta didik dapat merasakan elemen-elemen musik yang diajarkan melalui gerak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis proses pelaksanaan pendekatan Euritmik Dalcroze dalam proses pengembangan kemampuan gerak dasar anak usia dini, menganalisis hasil pelaksanaan pendekatan Euritmik Dalcroze dalam proses pengembangan kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor anak usia dini dan menganalisis hasil pelaksanaan pendekatan Euritmik Dalcroze dalam proses pengembangan kemampuan gerak dasar objek kontrol anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Guru TK Al-Battani melatih peserta didik untuk bernyanyi dan menari dan menambahkan gerakan sedikit demi sedikit kepada peserta didik ketika peserta didik sudah paham ritmis dan melodi lagu. TK Al-Battani melakukan permainan sederhana berupa kegiatan yang bisa meningkatkan keterampilan fisik motorik anak yaitu kegiatan lempar tangkap dan menendang bola sebagai kegiatan yang dapat melatih kemampuan gerak dasar objek kontrolnya.

Abstract

Dance learning in elementary schools is no less essential in learning activities. However, teachers still need to clarify many things regarding the purpose of learning dance in schools, where teachers still think that learning dance must teach students to become dancers. Therefore, this study aims to develop e-modules on recognizing the environment with dance for grade IV elementary school students. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE development model. The data collection techniques used in the study were observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, t-test, and N-Gain test. The results of the feasibility assessment of e-modules to recognize the environment with dance from material experts obtained a score of 92.26%. In comparison, the evaluation of media experts obtained a value of 89.02%. In addition, responses from users on product trials obtained a percentage of 98.18% from students and 100% from class teachers. The effectiveness of e-modules to recognize the environment with dance is evidenced in the t-test which obtained a significance value of 0.001 less than the significance level of 0.05, which means that there is a significant effect of using e-modules to recognize the environment with dance. In the N-Gain test, the result is 82.80, which can be concluded that the e-module of recognizing the environment with dance that has been developed is declared feasible and effective in learning dance.
