Abstract

Dengue fever (DHF) in Indonesia is increasing and spreading. This is due to weak early warning systems and risk factors for disease spread that are influenced by geospatial changes. This study employs a systematic review approach with meta-analysis to ascertain the impact of regional spatial data on dengue incidence. The results showed that rainfall tended to have a large effect on dengue incidence with an ES value of (0.44), temperature had a very small effect on dengue incidence with an ES value of (0.02), humidity had a moderate effect on dengue incidence with an ES value of (0.18), and wind speed tended to have a very large effect on dengue incidence with an ES value of (1.19). Temperature change had a significant influence on the incidence of DHF. Rainfall, temperature change, humidity and wind speed had an I-squared value (OR variation caused by heterogeneity) of 100% while wind speed was 0%. Rainfall, temperature change and humidity tended to have variable results so that they had a strong influence on the results of the meta-analysis, while wind speed tended to be homogeneous, allowing for high research bias.

Abstract

Myopia is a condition in which light strikes the retina, causing distant things to look blurry. There are over 285 million visually impaired persons worldwide, of whom 246 million are visually impaired and 39 million are blind. Therefore, a thorough investigation is required to assess the issue. Meta analysis is the study methodology employed. This study aimed to clarify the connection between the incidence of myopia the distance at which one stares and the amount of time spent on a smartphone. The review papers were selected from the collection's outcomes using Research Gate, Garuda Portal, and Google Scholar. The results of the review of research articles showed that there was a significant relationship between the distance of staring at a smartphone and the occurrence of myopia (p<0.00001) with a tendency for close distance staring at a smartphone to have a 0.29-fold risk of experiencing myopia compared to long distance staring at a smartphone. There was a significant relationship between the length of time using a smartphone and the occurrence of myopia (p<0.0001) with a tendency for a long time using a smartphone to have a 2.26-fold risk of experiencing myopia compared to not a long time using a smartphone.

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT Cervical cancer is the leading cause of death for women in Indonesia, with 36,964 new cases and 20,708 deaths by 2022. The coverage of early detection of IVA in Banjarmasin City is only 1% of the target of 108,792 examinations. At Sungai Mesa health center, out of 1,972 targeted women, only 145 (7.4%) utilized IVA services, this is far from the national target of 80%, indicating that there is still low utilization behavior of the cervical cancer early detection program with the IVA method. To explore and analyze the faktors associated with the utilization behavior of the cervical cancer early detection program using the acetic acid visual inspection (VIA) method in the Sungai Mesa Health Center working area. This study used an analytical observational method with a Cross Sectional design conducted in October-December 2024. The sampling technique of this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 106 samples. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using chi square and fisher exact tests and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression tests. The study showed that there was a significant relationship between family support (p-value = 0.018), health worker support (p-value = 0.007), ease of obtaining information (p-value = 0.006) with the behavior of utilizing the cervical cancer early detection program. There was no association between knowledge (p-value =0.566), accessibility of health resources (p-value =1.000), availability of health services (p-value =0.450) with the utilization behavior of cervical cancer early detection program. Health worker support is the most related faktor to utilization behavior with an Exp B value of 4.366. There is a relationship between family support, health worker support, ease of obtaining information while the variabels of knowledge, accessibility of health resources, availability of health services have no relationship with the utilization behavior of the cervical cancer early detection program for women of childbearing age by VIA method at Puskesmas Sungai Mesa. The factor most associated with the behavior of utilizing the cervical cancer early detection program with the VIA method is Health Officer Support. Keywords: Behavior, Utilization, Early Detection of Cervical Cancer, Visual Inspection of Acetic AcidABSTRAK Kanker serviks menjadi penyebab utama kematian wanita di Indonesia, dengan 36.964 kasus baru dan 20.708 kematian pada 2022.
