Abstract

The take or pay contract between PT. PLN (Persero) with Independent Power Producer (IPP), a power plant belongs to PT. PLN (Persero) is no longer operated optimally, for example, the Barru steam power plant. The steam power plant is a power plant that bears the primary load. The actual conditions in the Barru steam power plant field are charged a maximum of only 3-4 hours or only when the peak load is according to the dispatcher's request. This research examines comparing the economy dispatch method to maximize conditions in the Barru steam power plant, which dispatchers no longer order maximally. So that the Barru power plant operator can determine the distribution of the power allocation ordered by the dispatcher to the two power plant units of the Barru steam power plant, the method being compared is the lambda iteration method. The basis for calculating the two ways is to calculate in advance the characteristics of the fuel consumption of the power plant when operating in one day. The primary data is data on the results of electricity production issued by the generator and fuel consumption taken from the coal feeder flow. Based on the research results, it is known that the lambda iteration method can save production costs of Rp. 9.05 per KWH.

Abstract

The independence of nurse graduates in working is an important concept to pay attention to so that nurse graduates are ready to work after completing college. Nurse graduates at the Bengkulu Ministry of Health Polytechnic are absorbed as overseas workers or as workers in the capital or other provinces. However, there are still 33% working as honorary workers in their own place. The large number of DM cases in Rejang Lebong district that experience wound complications provides an opportunity for graduates and students to carry out competent chronic wound care so that they can work as diabetes chronic wound nurses. The aim of this community service is to improve chronic wound care skills, especially for graduates and students so they can apply their skills independently in the community. The method of activity carried out was wound care training which was held on September 5 2024. There were 25 training participants consisting of graduates and students. The results of this training were an increase in knowledge and skills in caring for chronic diabetes wounds before and after being given the training with an average increase in knowledge of 4.76. From the results of observations of wound care practices, all participants were able to carry out wound care practices in accordance with standard SOPs for caring for chronic diabetes wounds. Training participants received a wound care certificate from the PPNI organization. Training monitoring was carried out by supervision of the community service team when carrying out home care and as many as 44% of participants had carried out wound care in the community. Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The Office of the Regent of Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap), situated on Harapan Baru Street, Batu Lappa, Watang Pulu District, Sidrap Regency, South Sulawesi, consumes 200 kWh of electricity daily for lighting, resulting in substantial energy costs. Recognizing the potential for renewable energy, especially with a daily solar radiation potential of 5.8 kWh/m2, this study proposes the implementation of a hybrid solar power plant system. The system incorporates Photovoltaic (PV) as the primary energy source, with the Grid and Generator serving as backup sources through an AC Coupling configuration utilizing Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). The research employs a simulation approach using HOMER Pro software for system modeling, SketchUp software for solar panel layout, AutoCAD software for ATS circuit modeling, and theoretical calculations for financial analysis. The results indicate a solar power plant capacity of 39.6 kW, producing 75,701 kWh/year with an impressive 83.3% renewable penetration. From an economic standpoint, the project requires an investment of IDR 642,714,960, with a net present cost of IDR 1,573,177,823, and a cost of energy value of IDR 1,401.38/kWh. In terms of feasibility, the project demonstrates a net present value exceeding zero (IDR 216,680,041), a profitability index greater than one (1.33), an internal rate of return surpassing the credit interest rate (12.488%), and a payback period of 7 years and 7 months. These findings affirm the feasibility of the hybrid solar power plant planning project for the Sidrap Regent's Office, showcasing its economic viability and potential for sustainable energy solutions.
