Abstract

Subjective well-being is an indicator of mental health that plays an essential role in college students because it significantly predicts academic achievement and dropout rates. This study aimed to determine the effect of perceptions on the quality of higher education services, social support, and self-regulation on college students' subjective well-being. The sample in this study was 325 college students from various universities in Indonesia. The data in this study were obtained through the College Student Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire, the Higher Education Performance Scale, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and the Self Regulation Questionnaire to measure variables in this study. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. This study showed that student perceptions of college service quality, social support, and self-regulation significantly influence college students' subjective well-being. Student perceptions of the college service quality were the main predictor of college students' subjective well-being. The implication of this research was that to improve the subjective well-being of college students, a comprehensive approach is needed that includes quality services from universities, social support, and good self-regulation skills in students.

Abstract

Abstrak : Pengaruh Pornografi Melalui Gadget Terhadap Perilaku Seksual Pada Siswa Smp. Pornografi dapat diartikan secara luas sebagai gambar atau video yang diproduksi secara profesional atau dibuat oleh penonton yang dimaksudkan untuk membangkitkan gairah seksual penonton. Pornografi tradisional bersumber pada tempat media tradisional seperti televisi, film, dan majalah. Menonton pornografi internet adalah melihat atau mengunduh gambar dan video secara online di mana alat kelamin terbuka, dan/atau orang-orang berhubungan seksual dengan tujuan untuk merangsang reaksi seksual pada penonton. untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pornografi melalui gadget terhadap perilaku seksual pada siswa smp. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik pendekatan cross sectional, pengolahan metode sampel dengan accidental sampling pada siswa SMPN 2 Bandar Lampung. Pengambilan data menggunakan google form hubungan paparan pornografi & google form Prilaku Seksual. Analisis bivariat dengan uji Normalitas. Sebanyak 217 responden dengan persentase 77% memiliki Perilaku seksual yang Tinggi. Kemudian sebanyak 65 responden dengan persentase 23% memiliki Perilaku seksual yang Rendah, dan sebanyak 137 responden dengan persentase 48,6% memiliki Perilaku Pornografi yang Tinggi. Kemudian sebanyak 113 responden dengan persentase 40,1% memiliki perilaku pornografi yang Sedang, dan 32 responden dengan persentase 11,3% memiliki perilaku pornografi yang Rendah. Hasil uji Normalitas didapatkan nilai signifikan 0,008<0,05. dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya hubungan paparan pornografi dengan Perilaku Seksual pada siswa SMP.

Abstract

Subjective well-being is an important mental health indicator to study in students because it significantly predicts academic achievement and college dropout rates. This research aims to determine the influence of perceptions of the quality of higher education services, social support, and self-regulation on students' subjective well-being. The sample in this study was 325 students from various universities in Indonesia. The data in this research was obtained through the Student Subjective Well-Being questionnaire, the Higher Education Performance scale, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and the Self-Regulation Questionnaire to measure the variables in this research. The collected data was then analyzed using linear multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that students' perceptions of the quality of higher education services, social support, and self-regulation significantly affect students' subjective well-being. Student perceptions of the quality of higher education services were established as the main predictor of students' subjective well-being. The results of this research imply that to improve students' subjective well-being, an approach is needed that includes quality services from the university, social support, and good self-regulation skills for students.

Abstract

Thecollege studentssubjective well-being indicates their contentment with several facets of campus life. This study aims to determine the role of growth mindset and academic stress on college students' subjective well-being. A total of 228 college students currently in their fourth to eighth semesters were involved in the study, selected using quota sampling. Data collection used the growth mindset instrument adapted from Chrisantiana and Sembiring, the perceived academic stress scale instrument developed by Bedewy and Gabriel, and the college student subjective well-being instrument developed by Renshaw, which has been adapted into Indonesian by Ariska et al.Results from multiple linear regressionanalysisindicatedthat growth mindsetandacademic stress together accounted for 46,1% ofthevarianceinsubjective well-being in college students.Academic stress was found to have a more significant impact on college students' subjective well-being compared to a growth mindset. The results of this study highlight the importance of reducing academic stress among college students to support their subjective well-being.Keywords:academic stress; college student subjective well-being;growth mindset

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja dan usia terhadap psychological well-being pada anggota kepolisian daerah (POLDA) Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner psychological well-being dan stres kerja, serta data demografi berupa usia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota polisi Polda Lampung sebanyak 90 orang dari tiga bidang kerja yaitu Ditbinmas, Ditintelkam, dan Biro SDM. Penetapan subjek menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan jenis quota sampling. Dalam penelitian ini analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik, menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh stres kerja dan usia terhadap psychological well-being pada anggota kepolisian daerah (POLDA) Lampung, sebesar 38,3% varians psychological well-being dapat dijelaskan oleh stres kerja dan usia. Adapun sisanya 61,7% dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlu adanya pelatihan untuk meningkatkan penerimaan diri serta diperlukan pula adanya penyedian layanan psikologi untuk mengurangi stres kerja yang dialami oleh anggota kepolisian dan melakukan pelatihan menejemen stres yang baik. Kata Kunci: Psychological Well-Being, Stres Kerja, Usia, Polisi  AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of job stres and age on psychological well-being in members of the Lampung regional police (POLDA). This research is quantitative research. The data collection method uses psychological well-being and work stres questionnaires, as well as demographic data in the form of age. The subjects in this study were 90 police officers from three work areas, namely Ditbinmas, Ditintelkam, and HR Bureau. Determination of subjects using non- probability sampling technique with quota sampling type. In this study, data analysis used multiple regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of statistical tests, it shows that there is an effect of job stres and age on psychological well-being in members of the Lampung regional police (POLDA) of 0.383 which shows 38.3% of the variance in psychological well-being can be explained by job stres and age while the remaining 61.7% is influenced by other factors outside this study. The implication of this research is that there is a need for training to increase self-acceptance and the provision of psychological services to reduce work stres experienced by members of the police and provide good stres management training. Keywords: Psychological Well-Being, Job Stres, Age, Police

Abstract

Subjective well-being sangat penting dimiliki oleh mahasiswa, terutama mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran. Faktor yang mempengaruhi subjective well-being pada mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran adalah kesehatan dan gaya hidup. perilaku merokok merupakan salah satu gaya hidup yang dipercaya dapat menghilangkan stres pada mahasiswa terutama mahasiswa kedokteran.  Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya, perilaku merokok dapat menurunkan subjective well-being. untuk mengetahui perilaku merokok dengan subjective well-being pada mahasiswa sarjana pendidikan dokter dalam menghadapi pembelajaran tatap muka. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain survei analitik dan rancangan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 139 mahasiswa kedokteran di Bandar Lampung. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah data demografi mahasiswa dan Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) dan Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II (HPLP II). sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat perilaku merokok ringan (80,6%) dan subjective well-being (38,8%). Hasil analisis korelasi didapatkan p-value 0,000. terdapat korelasi perilaku merokok dengan subjective well-being pada mahasiswa sarjana pendidikan dokter dalam menghadapi pembelajaran tatap muka di Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-acceptance and social comparison on the tendency of body dissatisfaction in students who use TikTok social media. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a significant influence between self-acceptance and social comparison on the tendency of body dissatisfaction in students who use TikTok social media. The subjects in this study were female students who use TikTok social media aged 18 to 25 years, taken from six universities in Bandar Lampung with a total of 180 subjects. The research data were taken using the Body Dissatisfaction Scale (BDS), Berger Self Acceptance Scale (BSAS) and The Upward and Downward Apperance Comparison Scale (UDACS). The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant influence between self-acceptance and social comparison on the tendency of body dissatisfaction in students who use TikTok social media (p <0.05). The body dissatisfaction variable can be explained by the self-acceptance and social comparison variables by 14%. The self-acceptance variable makes a greater contribution than the social comparison variable to the tendency of body dissatisfaction in students who use TikTok social media

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial transitional phase with significant physical, emotional, social, and psychological changes. Studying happiness during this time is important, as adolescents' emotional well-being heavily depends on their social relationships, particularly friendships and gender influences. This topic is increasingly relevant due to rising social, academic, and digital pressures that can enhance or undermine happiness. Exploring adolescent happiness provides insights for improving mental health and laying a foundation for adult well-being. Happiness drives individuals to engage in positive behaviors. This study investigates how gender and friendship quality impact adolescent happiness and examines other related factors. Conducted with 200 participants aged 18 to 21 uses the Authentic Happiness Inventory (AHI) measure for friendship quality. The hypothesis is assessed via multiple regression analysis, revealing that the connection between gender and friendship quality accounts for 8.7% of variance in adolescent happiness, while 91.3% is linked to unexamined factors

Abstract

Children with ADHD do not perform planning, monitoring, and evaluating process during writing task, therefore their writing product usually has low spelling accuracy. In this study, intervention was designed to improve spelling skill of children with ADHD while doing writing task by developing metacognitive strategy through scaffolding technique. This study is a single subject research with qualitative analysis to compare subject’s performance before and after intervention. The result of this study shows that scaffolding technique is effective in developing metacognitive strategy and improving spelling skill in writing task.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of academic achievement and parental involvement on student subjective well-being (SSWB) among high school students in Bandar Lampung City. SSWB encompasses students' perceptions of the quality of life at school, including school connectedness, academic success, enjoyment of learning, and educational goals. This study used a quantitative approach, with 200 students from two private high schools as a sample selected through quota sampling. The instruments used included the SSWQ scale, a parental involvement scale, and report card data as an indicator of academic achievement. The results showed that academic achievement and parental involvement significantly influenced SSWB, both partially and simultaneously, with parental involvement having a greater influence (β = 0.464; effective contribution = 22.41%) than academic achievement (β = 0.296; effective contribution = 9.65%), with an R Square of 0.320. These findings confirm the importance of parents' roles and academic achievement in supporting students' subjective well-being at school.
