Abstract

This study explores the interplay between leadership style and performance appraisal systems and their influence on work productivity within PT KJP, a material packaging company operating under high operational pressure. Utilizing a qualitative case study with a phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and internal document analysis. The findings reveal that a dual leadership style combining transformational and transactional elements is practiced contextually across managerial levels. While transformational leadership enhances employee engagement and motivation, transactional mechanisms are applied for short term efficiency. Furthermore, the study identifies significant gaps in the performance appraisal system, which is perceived by employees as formalistic and lacking developmental value. Transparent and participatory appraisal processes, supported by consistent leadership, were found to positively influence motivation and productivity. The study concludes that an integrated human resource strategy aligning leadership development with feedback-oriented performance evaluations is essential for optimizing productivity. Recommendations are offered for leadership training and redesigning appraisal systems tailored to the operational dynamics of the organization.

Abstract

Di Era Industri 4.0, Pentingnya dukungan sumber daya Manusia (SDM) dengan kualitas profesional akan menjadi kunci utama berkembangnya perusahaan. Setiap perusahaan sangat membutuhkan orang-orang yang bertalenta untuk mampu memberikan pelayanan yang maksimal. Dengan kata lain, perusahaan tidak hanya memberikan pelayanan memuaskan, tetapi juga mengedepankan nilai, sehingga tidak sekedar mengejar produktivitas tenaga kerja yang unggul, tetapi juga meningkatkan kinerja dalam proses pencapaian-nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Surya Wira Abadi Tribuana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan metode kualitatif yang pengumpulan datanya terdiri dari observasi, wawancara dan analisis dokumen milik perusahaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Surya Wira Abadi Tribuana dapat berpengaruh Positif terhadap kinerja karyawan jika di lihat pada karakteristik karyawan , konsep, motivasi, pengetahuan karyawan dan keterampilan karyawan. Ini membuktikan bahwa kinerja karyawan sangat di pengaruhi oleh kompetensi karyawan tersebut.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 membawa perubahan besar dalam pola kerja, terutama dengan meningkatnya penggunaan sistem kerja hybrid yang menyelaraskan kerja jarak jauh dan di kantor. Perubahan ini memengaruhi kehidupan kerja dan pribadi karyawan serta kesejahteraan psikologis mereka menjadi tidak seimbang. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian untuk mengkaji pengaruh work-life balance terhadap psychological well-being yang terjadi pada karyawan khususnya di Jakarta pasca pandemi Covid-19. Dengan mempertimbangkan metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penggunaan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei dan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner berbasis skala likert dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan hasil work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap psychological well-being dengan kontribusi sebesar 69,9%. Karyawan yang dapat menyepadankan kehidupan kerja dan juga kehidupan pribadinya mengarahkan pada kepuasan dan kesejahteraan psikologis dengan tingkat yang lebih tinggi. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan teruntuk organisasi dalam mendesain kebijakan kerja yang lebih mengangkat kesejahteraan karyawan, terutama dalam sistem kerja hybrid pasca pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi karyawan terhadap produktivitas kerja di PT PLN Icon Plus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Kompetensi yang mencakup pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap dianggap sebagai faktor kunci dalam mendorong kinerja organisasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, dengan partisipan yang terdiri dari manajer, supervisor, dan staf dari berbagai departemen yang dipilih secara purposif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Karyawan dengan kompetensi tinggi lebih efisien, mampu menyelesaikan tugas dengan baik, dan berkontribusi besar terhadap pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Faktor pendukung seperti pelatihan, pengembangan karir, serta lingkungan kerja yang mendukung juga memperkuat hubungan ini. Temuan tersebut sejalan dengan teori manajemen sumber daya manusia yang menekankan pentingnya investasi dalam pengembangan kompetensi. Implikasi praktisnya, manajemen PT PLN Icon Plus disarankan untuk merancang program pelatihan dan pengembangan yang efektif serta melakukan evaluasi berkala terhadap sistem manajemen kinerja. Penelitian ini juga memperkaya literatur akademik tentang hubungan kompetensi dan produktivitas, khususnya dalam konteks perusahaan jasa di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the role of transformational leadership in shaping and encouraging innovative work behavior of employees at PT Garuda Yamato Steel. In the context of the dynamics of the manufacturing industry that continues to grow and demands rapid adaptation to technological changes and global competition, transformational leaders play a strategic role in shaping a work climate that supports innovation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, through in-depth interviews with a number of key informants consisting of managers and employees from various departments. The findings show that the main dimensions of transformational leadership, namely idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration, contribute significantly to increasing the intensity and quality of innovative work behavior. Leaders who are able to inspire a shared vision, provide space for experimentation, and support individual capacity building, directly encourage the emergence of new ideas, creative work approaches, and courage in taking measured risks. In addition, this study found that the emotional connection between leaders and subordinates, built through trust and two-way communication, is an important foundation in shaping a work environment conducive to innovation. The context of organizational culture, hierarchical structure, and internal company dynamics also influence the effectiveness of transformational leadership style in triggering innovative behavior. The implications of this research point to the importance of developing transformational leadership competencies in organizations, especially at the managerial level, as part of a long-term strategy to maintain competitiveness through continuous innovation. This research also opens room for further exploration of the contextual influence of organizational culture on the effectiveness of leadership styles in the heavy industry sector.

Abstract

Industri perbankan syariah di Indonesia menunjukkan laju pertumbuhan yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan ekonomi nasional. Kemajuan tersebut sangat dipengaruhi oleh kontribusi dari Sumber Daya Manusia, khususnya karyawan lintas generasi, termasuk Generasi Milenial. Generasi Milenial dikenal memiliki kecenderungan tinggi untuk melakukan perpindahan pekerjaan (job hopping), yang dapat berdampak pada kestabilan tenaga kerja di industri perbankan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tren penurunan jumlah karyawan Milenial di perbankan syariah Indonesia pada periode 2019–2023. Tujuan jurnal ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh kepemimpinan dan pengembangan karir terhadap turnover intention dengan keterlibatan karyawan (employee engagement) sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis deskriptif. Tingkat keterlibatan karyawan Milenial terbukti berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh yang negative. Sementara itu, pengembangan karier terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keinginan berpindah kerja pada karyawan dari Generasi Milenialdi perbankan syariah di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of employer branding on employee retention among Technical Support staff at ION Network, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Indonesia. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and company document analysis. The study involved three key informants: a Technical Support employee, the Vice President of Technical Support, and an HRD specialist. The findings reveal that ION Network’s employer branding anchored in national project participation, practical technical training, and family focused benefits fosters emotional and professional engagement, thereby enhancing employee loyalty. Training initiatives and public recognition of high performing staff further strengthen job satisfaction. However, the study also highlights retention challenges, particularly the gap between the hierarchical structure and the high mobility expectations of young employees, as well as salary competition from rival firms. These challenges indicate the need for more adaptive branding strategies that align with generational preferences and market dynamics. The study concludes that employer branding at ION Network operates as both a recruitment and retention tool, effectively combining external corporate image with internal employee value. The implications underscore the importance of purpose driven work environments, continuous learning systems, and flexible career pathways in maintaining a stable and committed workforce in the ISP sector.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on partial business sectors. One of the businesses affected is the property business. That's why a SWOT analysis is needed in the property marketing industry to answer step optimization. This study aims to identify SWOT in the property marketing industry of PT Harmony Land Group in the Pandemic Era. The purpose of this study is to map and analyze Strengths (Strengths), Weaknesses (Weaknesses), Opportunities (Opportunities), Threats (Threats) in the industry management rights to the industry. We also know that the natural phenomenon of covid 19 is possible to create a tremendous impact on variable business sectors. There are businesses that go up, there are new businesses, there are businesses that are decreasing, and some businesses are closing. Through SWOT analysis in the property marketing industry, we are able to see the strength we will maintain, the weaknesses we will strengthen and minimize, the opportunities we must take and the threats we create solutions for. In this case, PT Harmony Land Group as one of the affected property companies was able to survive in the midst of the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic and was able to create strategic management into an execution in the field of property marketing so as to make the company sustainable to date and create new opportunities that have yetEmerged. Abstract

This study presents a systematic mapping of Change Management and Organizational Change research using bibliometric analysis. The specific objectives are to identify research development trends in this field and to visualize the keyword network for the period 2016–2025 using VOSviewer. Data were collected from Google Scholar via the Publish or Perish (PoP) software, with Mendeley utilized for reference management. The findings indicate that studies on organizational change management between 2016 and 2025 remain predominantly focused on internal organizational aspects, specifically structural transformation, leadership, intervention strategies, and employee resistance. The bibliometric visualization generated five main clusters centered on the core keyword "change management," which showed extensive connections to related terms such as reorganization, leadership, and employee.

Abstract

The global competition for top talent is intensifying. Employer branding, as a strategy to build a company's image as an attractive place to work, is becoming increasingly important in attracting and retaining quality employees. However, there are still few studies that examine how employer branding specifically drives employee engagement in Indonesia. This research aims to understand how employer branding drives employee engagement at PT Gardamas Surya Lestari, Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with a single case study. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the Company Leader, HRD Manager and Employees of PT Gardamas Surya Lestari. The results showed that employer branding of PT Gardamas Surya Lestari has a positive influence on employee engagement. This is achieved through three main mechanisms: First, building a strong corporate identity and values: PT Gardamas Surya Lestari has built a strong corporate identity and values, which are consistently communicated to employees through various channels. Second, creating a positive work culture: The work culture at PT Gardamas Surya Lestari supports employee engagement by providing employees with opportunities to learn and develop, and feel valued and respected. The third research result is by offering attractive programmes and benefits: PT Gardamas Surya Lestari offers attractive programmes and benefits for employees, including competitive salaries and benefits, career development opportunities, and a conducive work environment.
