Abstract

Kewirausahaan menjadi suatu hal yang penting bagi pembangunan. Negara maju memiliki jumlah wirausaha yang besar sehingga dapat menjadi tulang punggung dalam proses pembangunan suatu negara. Inovasi yang dilakukan terhadap model bisnis para pelaku usaha adalah suatu usaha yang harus terus dilakukan agar mereka dapat bertahan dan sukses dalam usahanya tersebut. Budaya wirausaha tentunya memberikan pengaruh terhadap kesuksesan seorang pebisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perilaku wirausaha dari petani muda yang sudah dianggap sukses. Petani muda lulusan Fakultas Pertanian menganggap bahwa petani yang berhasil adalah petani yang mampu menerapkan pengetahuan dan pengalamannya dalam bidang pertanian ke dalam dunia nyata. Petani sukses adalah mereka yang senantiasa bergerak mencari pasar dan selalu belajar hal baru setiap harinya. Mereka merasa rugi apabila dalam satu hari tidak menemukan hal yang baru untuk mereka pelajari.Petani sukses adalah petani yang memiliki perilaku sukses seperti Kemauan untuk mencari solusi dan kerja keras untuk mendapatkannya merupakan modal kuat bagi petani muda untuk bertahan dan berkembang dalam bisnis mereka. Kesuksesan dalam bidang pertanian harus diperoleh dengan bekerja dengan sungguh – sungguh (istiqomah), senantiasa memahami kebutuhan dan keinginan pasar, selalu memperkuat pengetahuan tentang manajemen usaha, memiliki semangat kewirausahaan yang konsisten, selalu mengikuti perkembangan teknologi informasi dan mampu beradaptasi dengan lingkungan yang dinamis.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship becomes an important thing for the development. Developed countries have a large number of entrepreneurs that can become the pillar in the development. Entrepreneurial culture certainly gives influence to the success of a businessman. This study aimed to analyze entrepreneurial behavior of young farmers who are considered successful. This sudy showed that young farmers who graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture consider that successful farmers were farmers who are able to apply their knowledge and experience in agriculture to the real world. Successful farmers were those who are constantly on the lookout for markets and always learning new things every day, they feel a loss if in one day they find nothing new to learn. Successful farmers were those who have successful behaviors such as will to find a solution and work hard to get that, it is a strong capital for young farmers to survive and grow in their business. Success in agriculture should be obtained by working diligently (istiqomah), always understanding the needs and wants of the market, always strengthening the knowledge of business management, having a consistent entrepreneurial spirit, always keeping up with the information technology and being able to adapt to the dynamic environment.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPertumbuhan modern ritel yang sangat cepat di Indonesia menimbulkan perdebatan mengenaibagaimana pertumbuhan yang cepat ini mempengaruhi sektor ritel tradisonal. Tujuan dari tulisan inimenitikberatkan kepada persepsi para peritel tradisional mengenai dampak dari pertumbuhan modernritel terhadap pendapatan peritel tradisional. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif.Data primer diperoleh berdasarkan wawancara mendalam dengan 45 peritel tradisional yang berlokasidi 3 pasar tradisional di Bandung. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Bertolak belakang denganpandangan pada umumnya, peritel tradisional (yang menjual sayur dan buah segar) percaya bahwakeberadaan ritel modern di sekitar lokasi penjualan mereka memiliki dampak yang kecil terhadappendapatan mereka. (2) Penurunan pendapatan peritel tradisional yang terlibat dalam studi inidisebabkan terutama karena adanya kompetisi dengan para pedagang kaki lima (PKL) danpermasalahan yang berkaitan dengan managemen internal dari pasar tradisional itu sendiri sepertimisalnya peningkatan harga sewa jongko dan keterbatasan infrastruktur pendukung lainnya. (3)Diferensiasi produk (dalam kualitas dan jenis produk) yang diperjualbelikan di pasar tradisional danpasar modern serta perbedaan segmen pasar diantara keduanya, membuat kedua jenis pasar ini salingmelengkapi satu sama lain.Kata kunci: persepsi peritel, dampak, pertumbuhan ritel modern, ritel tradisional, BandungABSTRACTRapid rise of modern retails in Indonesia raised a debate on how this rapid rise affects traditionalretail sectors. This study highlights traditional retailer’s perception on the impact of modern retailgrowth to their income. Descriptive analysis is used in this study. Primary data was gained from indepth interview with 45 traditional retailers in 3 traditional markets in Bandung. This study showsthat: (1) On the contrary with the conventional wisdom, traditional retailers (who sell FFV) believethat the existence of modern retails nearby their selling locations has little impact on their income. (2)Decreasing income of traditional retailers in our study is mostly caused by competition with illegalstreet vendors and internal traditional market management issues such as increasing rental price ofstalls and limited infrastructures. (3) Product differentiation (in quality and type of goods) that aresold in traditional and modern retails and market segmentation, make these two types of marketscomplement to each other.Keywords: retailer’s perception, impact, modern retail growth, traditional retail, Bandung.

Abstract

Manggis merupakan salah satu buah unggulan Indonesia yang memiliki peluang ekspor yang cukup menjanjikan. Dari tahun ke tahun permintaan manggis meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan produksi. Di Indonesia, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya merupakan salah satu sentra produksi manggis terbesar. Desa Cikalong merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Sodonghilir dengan tingkat produksi manggis tertinggi. Seiring dengan peningkatan produksi manggis, hal ini juga didukung dengan peningkatan harga manggis sebesar 13% dari tahun sebelumnya. Namun, dibalik itu semua terdapat data yang bertolak belakang dimana angka kemiskinan tertinggi di Provinsi Jawa Barat yaitu di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya sebesar 15,60%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis pendapatan usahatani, struktur pendapatan dan kontribusi pendapatan manggis terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Desain penelitian adalah kuantitatif explanatory dengan menggunakan analisis chi-square, analisis pendapatan usahatani dan analisis kontribusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Propotional Random Sampling dan diperoleh 36 petani manggis responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kontribusi manggis terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga yaitu sebesar 18% dari pendapatan total rumah tangga petani, sebagai penyumbang kedua terbesar setelah pendapatan non-farm, dan nilai RC ratio manggis mencapai 5,4,dengan asumsi umur pohon berkisar antara 15-25 tahun. Hasil analisis menggunakan chi-square menjelaskan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara jumlah pohon dengan besarnya kontribusi manggis. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengembangan usahatani manggis di Desa Cikalong mengingat pasar ekspor yang luas, nilai RC ratio yang tinggi dan topografi desa yang sesuai.Kata Kunci : Kontribusi, petani mangis, rumah tangga petani.

Abstract

The price of chilies in West Java has still fluctuated over the last 12 months. Penyangga Aneka Cabai program is considered to be a solution for farmers to increase their income so that farmers have enough capital to carry out chili production and can play a role in maintaining price stability and chili supply. One of the villages used as an area for Penyangga Aneka Cabai is Sindulang Village in Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency with the main commodity being red chilies. This research aims to analyze the comparison of farmers' income and profits from red chili farming that participate in Penyangga Aneka Cabai program with those that do not participate in Penyangga Aneka Cabai program. This research uses a quantitative approach design, survey method and has a sample size of 67 red chili farmers with appropriate criteria. Data analysis techniques are carried out using descriptive analysis, farming analysis, R/C Ratio analysis, and Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney statistical test. The research results show that the average income of program farmers is IDR 35,330,175/ha/planting season which is greater than the income of non-program farmers of IDR 30,564,982/ha/planting season. Average R/C value Ratio program farmers is 2.64 which is also greater than non-program farmers, namely 2.03. This research proves that farming carried out by farmers who take part in Penyangga Aneka Cabai Program is more profitable. However, farming carried out by program and non-program farmers is feasible and efficient to operate because both have an R/C value of more than 1. Abstract

The population of edible bird's nests in Indonesia accounts for 80-85% of the world's total, making Indonesia the leading producer of edible bird's nests. One of the companies that produces processed bird's nest drinks is Realfood. This company is the first pioneer of bird's nest drinks in Indonesia. With its flagship product, Fit With Realfood, the company's presence was well-received, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, over the past two years, Realfood has experienced a decline in sales. The purpose of this study is to understand the business concept of PT Realfood Karya Indonesia in marketing its products. The study employs a qualitative research design with a case study approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is conducted using descriptive analysis and the business model canvas tool. PT Realfood Karya Indonesia's business concept follows the unbundling business model approach. Product marketing is the primary focus of PT Realfood Karya Indonesia. Consequently, the resulting business model canvas highlights the company's efforts to generate revenue through product marketing

Abstract

Agro Edu Wisata Organik (AEWO) Mulyaharja is the only tourist village in Bogor City that falls into the category of an advanced tourist village. However, in recent years, the number of visitors to AEWO Mulyaharja has been decreasing annually, which is one of the indicators that the development of AEWO Mulyaharja has not been optimal. This research aims to determine the sustainability level of AEWO Mulyaharja and analyze the sensitive factors affecting the sustainability of AEWO Mulyaharja. The design of this research uses quantitative approaches, with the survey method employed for data collection. The analysis tools used the Multidimensional Scaling method in the RAP-Tourism technique. The analysis results show that overall, the sustainability levels of the economic and socio-cultural dimensions are quite sustainable, while the ecological and technological dimensions are categorized as highly sustainable. The sensitive attributes that most significantly influence the sustainability of AEWO Mulyaharja in a multidimensional manner are the presence of local attractions and traditions, the existence of historical sites or artifacts at the tourist location, and safety.

Abstract

Pertanian ubi jalar di Kabupaten Kuningan memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan petani. Namun, tantangan seperti fluktuasi produksi, kerusakan dan penyusutan lahan, serta dampak perubahan lingkungan dan praktik pertanian konvensional mengancam kelangsungan jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis status perburuan pertanian di ubi jalar. 2) Menjelaskan strategi pengembangan pertanian ubi jalar berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan pendekatan survei kepada 100 responden petani dan wawancara mendalam dengan 17 orang pakar terkait. Teknik analisis data meliputi Analisis Keberlanjutan Multiaspek (MSA) untuk menilai status permintaan dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor sensitif yang mempengaruhi setiap dimensi permintaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indeks keinginan pertanian ubi jalar di Kabupaten Kuningan berada pada kategori "Berkelanjutan" dengan nilai status keinginan (77,53). Nilai status keinginan pada masing-masing dimensi menunjukkan bahwa dimensi tata kelola dan tata kelola memiliki skor tertinggi (86,83%) pada kategori “Sangat Berkelanjutan”, sedangkan dimensi ekologi (78,19%), ekonomi (68,73%), dan sosial (76,38%) berada pada kategori “Berkelanjutan”. Analisis skenario mengidentifikasi skenario 1 (Sedang) sebagai pilihan optimal untuk dimensi tata kelola, ekonomi, dan sosial, dengan fokus pada perbaikan pada dua indikator pendorong pada masing-masing dimensi, sedangkan skenario 2 (Optimis) lebih tepat untuk dimensi ekologi, karena memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan status keinginan melalui perbaikan pada empat indikator pendorong. Pendekatan ini diproyeksikan mampu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan status usahatani ubi jalar di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The success of cooperative is the primary goal of every cooperative business entity. One factor that influences this is the active participation of members in the cooperative. The lack of member participation often becomes an issue, even though the success of cooperative greatly depends on the extent of member participation in supporting the activities and operations of the cooperative. This research aims to determine the level of success of the cooperative and the extent to which member participation influences the success uses a survey method involving 73 cooperative members selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the level of member participation falls within the high criteria with a percentage of 78,95%, and the success level of the KSJP cooperative is in the good category with percentage of 79,15%. The independent variables consist of member meetings, capital contributions, cooperative supervision, and service utilization cooperative, while the dependent variable is the success of the cooperative. The research results indicate that the success of the cooperative can be explained by the variables of member participation in meetings, member participation in capital contributions, member participation in supervision and cooperative services by 56,5%, while 43,5% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. Simultaneously, the variables of member meetings, capital contributions, cooperative supervisions, and service utilization significantly affect the success of KSJP, while partially, only service utilization significantly affects the success of the cooperative.
