Abstract

The Dipasiala tradition is a cultural practice that plays an important role in the Bugis community in Air Solok Batu Village, South Sumatra. However, the application of this custom often leads to divorce when it is done under duress. This study aims to analyse the problems that arise in relation to the Dipasiala custom, as well as to identify the position of the custom from the perspective of urf in the context of Islamic law. The method used is qualitative with in-depth interview techniques and participatory observation, which aims to explore the factors that influence the implementation of the custom, such as changes in social values, tensions between local traditions and Islamic legal principles, and challenges in maintaining cultural heritage in the midst of modernisation. The results of this study show that the theory of ‘urf as a theory in the study of Islamic law sees in terms of its validity that the dipasiala tradition carried out by the Bugis community in Air Solok Village has the potential to fall into the category of ’urf fasid, if the dipasiala tradition is carried out by coercion and the marriage ends in divorce. Then the implications of this research have a significant impact on academics and practitioners of Islamic law in formulating policies that are more sensitive to local cultural values, as well as for the community to maintain the sustainability of this tradition while still considering the principles of justice and harmony with Islamic law. This research also contributes to efforts to maintain the relevance of the Dipasiala tradition in maintaining the cultural identity of the Bugis community in South Sumatra in the era of globalisation.

Abstract

Mahasiswa calon guru sejarah perlu memiliki kompetensi pedagogis dan wawasan kontekstual yang kuat agar mampu mengembangkan pembelajaran sejarah yang bermakna dan relevan. Salah satu upaya strategis yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pendampingan lapangan berbasis wisata edukasi pada situs-situs sejarah lokal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa calon guru sejarah melalui keterlibatan langsung dalam praktik lapangan berbasis wisata edukasi di Sumatra Barat. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui skema pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis kolaborasi antara dosen dan mahasiswa dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Kegiatan meliputi persiapan materi pembelajaran sejarah lokal, pelaksanaan kunjungan edukatif ke situs sejarah, serta refleksi dan evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami konteks sejarah lokal, merancang pembelajaran kontekstual, dan mengembangkan media ajar berbasis pengalaman lapangan. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kemitraan dengan masyarakat serta menumbuhkan kepedulian terhadap pelestarian situs sejarah. Praktik lapangan berbasis wisata edukasi terbukti efektif sebagai media penguatan kompetensi calon guru sejarah. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya sinergi antara pendidikan tinggi dan pemanfaatan potensi lokal dalam pengembangan pendidikan sejarah.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Perjuangan Rakyat Musi Ulu Rawas Pada Masa Revolusi Fisik tahun 1945-1949. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian sejarah (historis) dengan langkah-langkah antara lain: Hauristik, Kritik Sumber, Interpretasi, dan Historiuografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perjuangan yang dillakukan oleh rakyat Musi Ulu Rawas pada masa Revolusi Fisik tahun 1945-1949 antara lain dengan menggunakan berbagai cara seperti melakukan penculikan kepada para tentara serdadu Jepang dan pencurian senjata milik Jepang, serangan yang dilakukan secara diam-diam atau secara langsung, serta dengan menggunakan taktik bumi hangus guna menghalau perjalanan pasukan Belanda yang ingin menguasai tanah Lubuklinggau sehingga pertempuran dan gencatan sejata pun tidak dapat untuk terelakkan lagi. Karena tidak sepadannya jumlah pasukan dan persediaan senjata yang dimiliki oleh para pasukan pejuang Musi Ulu Rawas terhadap pasukan musuh menyebabkan bayang sekali korban yang berjatuhan di pihak Indonesia. Hingga pada puncaknya diberikannya hak kedaulatan bangsa Indonesia oleh Belanda dari hasil keputusan KMB yang dilakukan di Belanda.Abstract: This study aims to describe the Struggle of the People of Musi Ulu Rawas During the Physical Revolution Period 1945-1949. The method used in this study is historical (historical) research with steps including: Hauristics, Source Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiuography. The results of this study indicate that the struggle carried out by the people of Musi Ulu Rawas during the Physical Revolution in 1945-1949 included using various methods such as kidnapping Japanese soldiers and stealing Japanese weapons, attacks carried out secretly or directly, as well as using scorched earth tactics to dispel the passage of Dutch troops who wanted to control Lubuklinggau land so that fighting and a ceasefire could no longer be avoided. Because the disproportionate number of troops and weapons stocks owned by the Musi Ulu Rawas fighters against the enemy troops led to the shadow of the casualties on the Indonesian side. Until at its peak, the Netherlands granted the sovereign rights of the Indonesian nation as a result of the KMB decision made in the Netherlands.

Abstract

Kyai is a key element in the growth and development of the pesantren community. The pesantren community under the leadership of Kyai is interesting to continue to be researched, one of which is in the aspect of symbolic interaction between kyai and santri which is unique in each pesantren. This research was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda (PPNH) Pondok Joyo Jember with a qualitative approach, focusing on the symbolic interaction between kyai and santri from a leadership perspective. The results showed that in his leadership, Kyai at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda (PPNH) strongly emphasized the cultivation of ethical religious values through symbolic interactions carried out with students. This is reflected in the form of interaction in all activities carried out by the Kyai with students who are very concerned with the side of religiosity and moral values. The pattern of interaction carried out with jismiyah, firkriyah, and ruhiyah so that it is able to form a meaning that manifests in the form of values and behavior of sincerity, simplicity, exemplary, assertiveness, and responsibility of students.

Abstract

This  research  is  descriptive  qualitative  in  nature  with  a  phenomenological approach in analyzing the  leadership of  village Kiai in efforts to mainstream religious moderation for the abangan in Songon, Pondok Joyo, Semboro Jember, East Java. The results  of this research  show that the  leadership  authority of village  Kiai in the  global era  has  not  been  shifted,  continues  to  exist,  and  is  the  main  reference  in  providing example,  da'wah,  education  and  consultation  in  building  the  foundation  for mainstreaming  religious  moderation.  In  implementing  his  leadership,  he  uses  a situational  approach  based  on  religious  ethics,  through  various  activities  that  are routine  and  conditional,  daily,  weekly,  monthly  and  yearly,  taking  into  account  the context  and  culture  of  the  Songon  community.  In  leading  various  religious  and  non- religious  activities,  he  always  instills  values,  develops  attitudes  and  thoughts  that  are moderate,  tolerant  and  peaceful  as  well  as  love  for  the  Indonesian  homeland  by referring  to  the  concepts  that  have  been  taught  or  embraced  by  the  NU  organization through educational, religious and cultural activities.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation in forming quality and competitive human resources. In the context of learning in schools, the success of the educational process can be measured through the achievement of student learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 5 Lubuklinggau City on the Dongson Culture material. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a pre-test post-test control group design with samples of the experimental class (XE8) and the control class (XE4). Data were collected through multiple choice tests and analyzed using the t-test after first being tested for normality and homogeneity. The results showed a significant effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on improving student learning outcomes (t-count = 80.09; t-table = 2.021; α = 0.05). The experimental class using the Snowball Throwing model experienced a more significant increase in learning outcomes than the control class using conventional methods. Therefore, the Snowball Throwing learning model is recommended as an alternative effective learning model to improve student learning outcomes in the History subject.
