Abstract

Mangkokan leaves contains flavonoids that are known as natural antioxidant source. The aim of this study is to find the effect of drying temperature variations towards free radical scavenging activity of mangkokan leaves. Mangkokan leaves macerated with 96% ethanol and dried at 40oC, 50oC, and 60oC. Then were macerated with ethanol 96%. Antioxidant activity tested by DPPH method and quercetin was used as positive control. Dry shrinkage with temperatures at 40oC, 50oC, and 60oC were: (9.25 ± 0.276)%; (8.76 ± 0.348)% and (7.97 ± 0.372)%, respectively. Water content at 40oC, 50oC and 60oC were: (5.13 ± 0.575)%; (4.53 ± 0.512)% and (4.04 ± 0.575)%, respectively. The antioxidant potency of 96% ethanolic mangkokan leaves by ES50 value at drying temperatures 40oC, 50oC, 60oC and quercetin were (1.75 ± 0.058); (2.39 ± 0,089); (5.38 ± 0,078) mg/ml and (9.16x10-4 ± 4.36x10-5) mg/ml. Ethanolic extract of mangkokan leaves which dried at 40oC has biggest radical DPPH scavenging activity but much weaker than quercetin.

Abstract

Technology in education is needed as a learning medium that is used as a communication link between students and teachers. One application that can be used is Canva. The aim of this service is to introduce the Canva application and provide training and assistance to students, teachers and education staff in using the Canva application so that the learning process is more interesting and better. Training/counseling activities are carried out using training and workshops using laptops and smartphones equipped with video tutorials that have been prepared on YouTube. Providing workshops and training was successful in using the Canva application for teachers, education staff and students at Kalamullah Qur'an and Multilingual School Pattani Thailand. Using the Canva application can make it easier to design learning media in the form of 2D animation. Keywords: Learning Media, Canva Application, 2D Animation

Abstract

Teknologi jaringan generasi kelima (5G) berkembang menjadi fenomena baru dalam dunia telekomunikasi saat ini. Pasca meningkatnya jumlah pengguna internet di Kota Pekanbaru, teknologi 5G harus segera diterapkan. Studi ini menggunakan studi literatur dan wawancara sebagai metode observasi. Metode SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang dikumpulkan. Rekomendasi yang dibuat oleh ITU (International Telecommunication Union) melalui program International Mobile Telecommunication (IMT)-2020 adalah standar untuk penerapan teknologi jaringan 5G. Jumlah stasiun base transceiver (BTS) berteknologi 4G yang dapat dilayani terus meningkat. Dengan 97% BTS 4G yang tersedia, Kota Pekanbaru memiliki peluang untuk menerapkan jaringan 5G. Infrastruktur yang kuat juga menjadi kekuatan.

Abstract

Rumbai Nature School is located on Jl Budi Sari, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. Rumbai Nature School is located in the same area as the Muhammadiyah University of Riau, namely in Pekanbaru City. The IOT technology-based medicinal plant planting program is one form of learning resource that can be used as a means for children to learn about various types of medicinal plants. Medicinal plants or what are known as biopharmaceuticals are types of plants that have medicinal functions and properties and are used to cure or prevent various diseases. The method used in this service is designed so that activities can be carried out properly in order to optimize the IOT technology-based medicinal plant greenhouse at Rumbai Nature School. This service program is dedicated to providing educational guidance to improve students' knowledge about plants that have medicinal properties, both in terms of complaints about medicinal plants and regarding the use of medicinal plants. The presence of this service activity increases the awareness of school residents about how to utilize medicinal plants and utilize IoT technology to see the development and growth of ideal medicinal plants. Therefore, training is needed to introduce the use of medicinal plants and IoT technology

Abstract

Cerita rakyat adalah sebagian kekayaan budaya dan sejarah yang dimiliki Bangsa Indonesia. Di Provinsi Riau juga banyak memiliki cerita rakyat, yang masih dapat kita dengar secara turun temurun dan sebagiannya belum terdokumentasi dengan baik, salah satunya adalah Legenda danau Raja di Pinggir sungai Indradiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah video animasi cerita rakyat legenda danau raja dengan teknik bilingual atau 2 bahasa sebagai salah satu bentuk pelestarian budaya untuk memperkenalkan budaya dan cerita rakyat di provinsi Riau khsususnya di Rengat Indragiri Hulu. Penelitian ini memiliki luaran sebuah Video Animasi dengan teknik Bilingual. Tahap validasi dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket yang diberikan kepada 3 ahli dan mumpuni dibidangnya masing-masing yaitu ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa. Video animasi Cerita Rakyat 2 Dimensi ini layak digunakan. Setelah 3 bulan video ini peneliti unggah di Platform Youtube, video ini telah ditonton lebih 2100 kali, dan memiliki 4 komentar yang sangat positif artinya video ini cukup dinikmati oleh pengguna Youtube.

Abstract

Provinsi Riau khususnya kota Pekanbaru merupakan salah satu kota padat penduduk dan merupakan pusat jantungnya riau. Padatnya penduduk di pekanbaru berdampak pada komunikasi dan teknologi yang sangat dibutuhkan saat ini. Salah satu komunikasi yang diperlukan berupa jaringan internet. Dipekanbaru telah memiliki jaringan 4G (LTE) dimana teknologi komunikasi jaringan generasi keempat ini dapat diukur kualitasnya dengan metode drive test. Metode drive test adalah metode yang digunakan untuk pengukuran kualitas jaringan di wilayah atau daerah tertentu dengan mengunakan transportasi. Perkembangan teknologi pada smartphone menjadikan drive test dapat dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi G-Net Track.  Pada penelitian ini dibuat data hasil drive test secara pergerakan sehingga data dapat diakses pada handphone langsung. Proses umum dari sistem ini adalah proses analisa port dari handphone dan GPS, yang kemudian data diambil dari handphone yang berisi data level daya dan parameter lainnya atau data dari GPS yang merupakan data posisi. Dari hasil pengukuran dan riset, dapat dilihat kualitas panggilan yang baik dengan nilai rata-rata parameter yaitu RSRP (-87 dBm), RxQual (-0.96), Drop Call Rate (1,51%), Block Call Rate (1,91%), CSSR (98,1%), dan SCR (96,50%).

Abstract

This study explores the development of Kodular-based learning media to enhance the quality of informatics education. The study addresses the need of more engaging learning media and better technology integration in teaching using a Research and Development (R&D) design and a modified 3D model out of the 4D development model, including defining, designing, and developing. The research involved 20 students from SMK Negeri 1 Bangkinang, employing all stages of the development model: need analysis, media development, validation, and trial to students. The defining stage revealed inappropriate teaching method uses, leading students to have less motivation in learning. Consequently, this research developed learning media, focusing on number systems material (decimal, binary, octal, hexadecimal), organized in a visually appealing and concise format. In the designing phase, the Kodular media was developed to be user-friendly, featuring quizzes, exercises, and interactive modules. Validation results showed high feasibility scores, with media experts rate on 88.57% and material experts rate on 95%. During the developing stage, a trial to students yielded a score of 4.81 out of 5, classifying the media as "Very Good". Students praised its clarity, ease of use, and ability to make learning enjoyable. This study highlights the potential of Kodular-based media to increase engagement and support student-centred learning in vocational education.

Abstract

Teknologi internet dan smartphone telah berkembang pesat, membuka peluang untuk mengintegrasikan mereka dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk kontrol perangkat elektronik. Artikel ini membahas perancangan prototipe kontrol LED menggunakan aplikasi smartphone. Prototipe memungkinkan pengguna mengontrol LED dari jarak jauh melalui aplikasi smartphone. Sistem terdiri dari perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Perangkat keras terdiri dari modul LED, mikrokontroler, dan modul Bluetooth. Perangkat lunak berupa aplikasi smartphone yang terhubung ke mikrokontroler melalui Bluetooth. Aplikasi memungkinkan pengguna memilih lampu ruangan yang hendak dinyalakan. Prototipe diuji dan terbukti berfungsi dengan baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi praktis dan mudah digunakan untuk mengontrol LED dari jarak jauh.

Abstract

Tempat sampah banyak ditemui dengan sistem manual, sehingga membuat orang merasa malas jika hendak membuang sampah karena harus terlebih dahulu membuka tutup tempat sampah. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka dibuatlah Tempat Sampah Pintar yang bisa membuka tutup secara otomatis menggunakan arduino nano sehingga tidak perlu membuka secara lansung tutup sampah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah alat yaitu sebuah tempat sampah yang unik dan menarik, dapat membuka dan menutup dengan otomatis jika ada gerakan yang dideteksi. Sehingga diharapkan agar alat tersebut mampu menarik perhatian supaya orang-orang dapat membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil analisis pengumpulan data, pengamatan secara langsung system cara kerja alat, wawancara dengan pihak-pihak yang terkait.
