Abstract

Chinese Moslems are mostly ethnic Hui and Uyghur. Ethnic Hui Moslems live in cities in China such as Beijing, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Tianjin and Shanghai, while ethnic Uyghurs tend to stay concentrated in an area, especially in Xinjiang. The sect which is followed by Chinese Moslems are Sunny and Syiah Imamiyah, based on Hanafiyah and Syafi'ah jurisprudence, and following a number of tarekat, such as Qadiriyyah, Kubrawiyyah, Jahriyyah, and Khuffiyyah. Muslims tend to be more peaceful than ethnic Uyghurs, not even to the point of causing war. Even so, there are often feuds with Han ethnicity, Chinese Muslim civilization can be said to be quite advanced, especially related to education, transliteration and translation of the Qur'an into Chinese, calligraphy art; architecture, ornamentation, mosque construction; economy and commerce; and several scientific branches.

Abstract

Habib Anis al-Habsyi is one of the most respected scholars not only in the environment where he lives,  Pasar Kliwon, Surakarta, but also by Muslims outside the city of Surakarta and even Foreign Affairs. Therefore, even though he has died in 2006, still busy coming to him, exactly is to his grave located in a booth at the Riyadh mosque complex, Pasar Kliwon, Surakarta. On this basis, the research would like to examine what the motivation of the pilgrims to the Habib Anis Tomb. This research model is qualitative and using descriptive-interpretative approach. The theoretical framework that used is the theory of motivation, charisma, and barakah. The result of this research is that the pilgrim's motivation is the same as the pilgrims in other sacred tombs i.e looking for Blessings. But what distinguishes is the perception of Habib Anis's authority is not based on the karomahs that he has, but more on his personality and noble character. In short, the motivation of pilgrims to the tomb of Habib Anis is a unique series between charisma, kewalian, and barakah.

Abstract

This paper examines the level of readability of integrated thematic books of low grade Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level using two analysis tools, namely fry and raygor charts. Both of these instruments are used to provide a picture of reading thematic books for low class, which later can be used as a platform for future improvement of textbooks. The form of this research is the library research (Library Research) analysis tool using two analytical tools, namely fry and raygor charts.The results of this study are: 1), grade 1 thematic books according to the fry chart analysis of 8 existing theme books, none of the books match the grade 1 level, whereas according to the raygor chart there is only one book that is suitable, namely theme book 1 ; 2) grade 2 books according to the results of fry chart analysis there are 2 suitable themes, namely theme books 4 and 6, whereas according to the raygor chart there are only 1 appropriate theme books, namely theme book 6; and 3) grade 3 books according to fry charts, there is only 1 suitable theme book, namely theme book 3, while according to raygor chart there are 6 appropriate theme books, namely theme books 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. [Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang tingkat keterbacaan buku tematik terpadu kelas rendah tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah menggunakan dua alat analisis, yaitu grafik fry dan raygor. Kedua instrument ini digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran keyakan baca buku tematik untuk kelas rendah, yang nantinya bisa dijadikan salah satu pijakan untuk perbaikan buku teks ke depannya. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) alat analisisnya menggunakan dua alat analisis, yaitu grafik fry dan raygor. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1), buku tematik kelas 1 menurut analisis grafik fry dari 8 buku tema yang ada tidak ada satu pun buku yang sesuai dengan level kelas 1, sedangkan menurut grafik raygor hanya ada satu buku yang sesuai, yaitu buku tema 1; 2) buku kelas 2 menurut hasil analisis grafik fry terdapat 2 tema yang sesuai, yaitu buku tema 4 dan 6, sedangkan menurut grafik raygor hanya terdapat 1 buku tema yang sesuai, yaitu buku tema 6; dan 3) buku kelas 3 menurut grafik fry hanya terdapat 1 buku tema yang sesuai yakni buku tema 3, sedangkan menurut grafik raygor terdapat 6 buku tema yang sesuai, yaitu buku tema 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, dan 8]

Abstract

Khawarij adalah salah satu dari tiga sekte awal Islam. Sekte ini mayoritas terdiri dari huffadz dan mempunyai karakter literalis, suka mengkafirkan, dan kekerasan, bahkan tidak segan-segan menghalalkan darah kepada kelompok di luar fahamnya. Antara Khawarij dan Neo-Khawarij mempunyai kesamaan karakter dan konsep politik, meskipun para pakar menyatakan bahwa antara mereka tidak ada kesinambungan secara geneologi. Titik kesamaan yang sangat kentara atau menonjol dari mereka adalah suka mengkafirkan, getol mengumandangkan jihad, melakukan kekerasan dalam menyelesaikan masalah atau kepada kelompok di luar pemahamannya, literer dalam memahami nash, menentang pemerintahan yang sah (pemberontak), menolak semua hal yang tidak terdapat secara lahirinyah dalam nash, dan bahkan menghalalkan darah sesama muslim yang bukan golongannya, dan lain sebagainya. Kelompok yang disinyalir para pakar masuk dalam kategori neo-khawarij antara lain Jamaah Islamiyah, al-Qaeda, Wahabi, Salafi, DII/TII, LDII, al-Muhajiroun, dan lain-lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dalam membantu peserta didik memahami mata pelajaran matematika, dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat penerapan model TPS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MI Darussalam 01 Kartasura pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019, dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas III menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas III di MI Darussalam 01 Kartasura dapat membangkitkan antusiasme siswa. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh adanya interaksi langsung yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam kelompok sehingga dapat memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada siswa untuk berusaha bertanya dan mencari jawaban. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan alternatif pilihan strategi pembelajaran bagi guru untuk meningkatkan minat siswa khususnya pada pembelajaran matematika

Abstract

This study investigated the reception or response of students participating in the 2018 IAIN Surakarta Academic and Student Guidance Program (PBAK) to the Shubbanul Wathan March Song (LMSW). These students come from various backgrounds of different religious organizations, and this study aims to analyze how they receive the dominant meaning in the LMSW text as well as the factors that influence their reception of the song. The approach used in this research is qualitative and descriptive; however, it also utilizes quantitative data. Reception analysis was used as the theoretical framework and analysis in this study. The research was conducted at IAIN Surakarta from May 3, 2019, to September 30, 2019, with the research subjects being students participating in PBAK IAIN Surakarta in 2018. The results of this study revealed the following. First, PBAK students accept the dominant meaning of the LMSW text, which includes aspects of nationalism, love for the country, and the spirit of state defense. However, they also placed the song in opposition to some of the meanings advocated by the PBAK committee. Students believe that the inclusion of LMSW as a compulsory song in PBAK is not an appropriate action because PBAK and IAIN Surakarta as state institutions are expected to remain neutral from the affiliation of certain religious organizations, while LMSW is known as a song belonging to Nahdlatul Ulama. Second, opposition to this meaning is influenced by the religious background of each student, with the main factor being their lack of understanding of the LMSW's position as the National Anthem. Their rejection is based on the assumption that LMSW is associated more with Nahdlatul Ulama than with national identity.

Abstract

Ibnu Rusyd adalah salah satu filosof muslim terkemuka yang memiliki banyak talenta. Namun, yang mendapat sorotan terbesar darinya hanyalah pemikiran filsafat dan fiqih-nya. Keahlian Ibnu Rusyd dalam kalam belum banyak yang mengungkap. Padahal, pemikiran dan kritik manhaj kalamnya sangat cemerlang. Inilah fokus kajian tulisan ini. Metode kalam yang digunakan dan dianut oleh mayoritas umat muslim pada masa Ibnu Rusyd –nampaknya hingga sekarang -, menurutnya banyak menggunakan metode rasional bid’ah. Bahkan metode tersebut malah memunculkan hasil yang jauh dari tujuan ilmu kala>m. Terkait ini, Ibnu Rusyd menghimbau para mutakallim untuk kembali ke apa yang tertera dalam nas, yakni metode yang ia sebut dengan metode rasional syari’ah
