Abstract

This study aimed to compare blowing bubbles blades to the respiratory frequency of children with asthma in the Edelweiss Room, DR. M. Yunus Bengkulu Year 2019. The research design used was quasi-experimental research. The univariate analysis results showed that the average respiratory rate before and after super bubble blow therapy was moderate (26.91). Before and after blowing the propeller, the intermediate respiratory frequency was medium (26.69) and light (24.81). The bivariate analysis results showed an effect of blowing bubbles on respiratory frequency in children with a value of p = 0.000. In conclusion, there is no difference in superbubbles blowing therapy's effectiveness by blowing bamboo propellers in children with asthma. Keywords: Respiratory Frequency, Blow Super Bubbles

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference between Intervention Effectiveness Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) and Slow Deep Breathing Exercise (SDBE) in TD patients with hypertension. This type of research is an experimental design with a randomized pre-test and post-test three-group design without a control group. The results showed that there was a decrease in systolic and diastolic BP after the intervention in all groups. There was no significant difference in effectiveness between the three groups after the intervention; the optimal time to decrease systolic BP in the PMR and SDBE groups occurred on day 3. On the other hand, the diastolic BP does not show time. Optimal BP reduction. The conclusion of the three relaxation techniques effectively reduces blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Adequate time to lower blood pressure occurs on the third day. Keywords: Hypertension, Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR), Slow Deep Breathing Exercise (SDBE), Blood Pressure

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of snake and ladder educational game therapy (APE) on reducing anxiety in hospitalized children. This study uses an experimental method with a one-group pre-post test design. The number of samples used in this study was 15 samples with an incidental sampling technique. The results showed that the average level of anxiety before playing snake and ladder therapy in treated children was 19.13 with the moderate anxiety category. The anxiety story after snake therapy in treated children was 14.20 with mild class. In conclusion, playing snake and ladder therapy reduces anxiety in hospitalized children. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of univariate analysis obtained that the average respondent was 64 years old, with the majority gender being female, namely seven respondents (53.3%). Most respondents have a family history of hypertension, as many as 12 (80%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after slow deep breathing intervention in hypertension sufferers in the Telaga Dewa Health Center Work Area, Bengkulu City. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental support and school children's smoking behavior. This research method uses descriptive correlational research with a cross-sectional approach. The study's results based on class and age showed that 22 students, with a percentage of 73.3%, had supportive parental social support, and 16 students, with a rate of 53.3%, had terrible smoking behavior. The P value of parents' social support with smoking behavior is 0.207. In conclusion, it shows no relationship between parental consent and school children's smoking behavior. Abstract
