Abstract

This study aims to identify the most popular topics and words in conversations in cyberspace with the issue of E-Money. In addition, the research aims to find out how netizens feel about E-Money with the help of Machine Learning. This study uses a quantitative method with a sentiment analysis approach using the Machine Learning program, namely Orange Data Mining. The data used are tweets originating from Twitter that were crawled from April 5, 2023, to April 12, 2023. Researchers used the keywords E-Money," "Electronic Money," and "Electronic Money" to get a total of 800 tweets. The results showed that the words "Money," "Deposit," and "Tools" are the three words that appear most frequently in discussions of E-Money on Twitter, which is a registration procedure for using E-Money for the first time. In addition, E-Money is widely discussed in tweets in the form of Quizzes or giveaways, so in these tweets, E-money is used as a medium for transferring funds. Overall, the sentiment shown by netizens on Twitter is positive, with emotions dominated by feelings of joy and surprise towards E-Money. On the other hand, a tiny number still shows negatively, especially when experiencing technical problems when using E-Money, so concerns arise about the security of their money and personal data. Then the results of this study can be used by E-Money issuers as evaluation material to continue improving the security system so that E-Money users feel safe and satisfied and will continue to use E-Money for an extended period.

Abstract

Guru memegang peran krusial dalam proses pembelajaran. Penyampaian materi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penyampaian materi yang efektif dapat menggunakan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan media pembelajaran kincir air sederhana dalam menumbuhkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah berupa eksperimen dan setelah melakukan eksperimen diberikan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media kincir air sederhana efektif dalam menumbuhkan minat dan motivasi siswa SMP.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat yaitu melalui tanggungjawab sosial yang diberikan oleh perusahaan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah kontribusi program corporate social responsibility (CSR) perusahaan yaitu program kemitraan sebagai upaya peningkatan pendidikan (better education) dan peningkatan pendapatan (better income) terhadap UMKM. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini bagaimana kontribusi program kemitraan CSR PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, Jember terhadap keberdayaan UMKM. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kontribusi program kemitraan CSR PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, Jember dalam meningkatkan keberdayaan UMKM. Adapun jenis penelitian yaitu deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik penentuan informan, menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sumber data didapat dari informan kunci dan informan pendukung. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan menggunakan teknik pengolahan data yakni perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, dan triangualasi. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Analisis data yang digunakan analis model Mile dan Huberman, yaitu pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan tahap penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kontribusi program kemitraaan berpegaruh terhadap perkembangan usaha mitra binaan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kontribusi perusahaan harus sesuai denga prinsip-prinsip CSR da pemberdayaan masyarakat. Adapun saran yang dapat diberikan kepada PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, Jember yakni perencanaan pemberian pelatihan yang akan diberikan hendaknya dilakukan secara buttom-up sesuai dengan kebutuhan mitra binaan.

Abstract

Background: Islamic lifestyle digital applications (ILDA) are a sector in the rapidly increasing digital halal media and leisure industry. To ensure sustainable revenue for ILDA developers, freemium strategy needs to be implemented. However, there is a lack of research examining the factors that influence the adoption of freemium strategies in ILDA products. Objective: This research aimed to explore the factors within Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework that aid ILDA users to use freemium services. Specifically, the research focused on users trust (UT) and users satisfaction (US) as factors influencing the increase in behavioral intention (BI). Methods: Quantitative method was adopted in this context and purposive sampling method was used to obtain 400 data from respondents. The data were then analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) method. Results: The results showed that performance expectancy (PE) as well as effort expectancy (EE) positively and significantly influenced US. Similarly, facilitating conditions (FC) and social influence (SI) significantly affected UT. Both UT and US positively influenced users BI toward freemium services. Digital literacy (DL) had a positive moderating effect between PE and business expectations in US, but the effect was not statistically significant. Conclusion: The research described that all UTAUT variables, along with UT and US, influenced the intention to adopt freemium services in ILDA. Moreover, DL did not have any moderating effect on the framework considered in this context. These results signified that users tended to be satisfied and trust the benefits enjoyed, rather than being influenced by DL level.   Keywords: Behavioral Intention, Digital Literacy, Islamic Lifestyle Digital Application, Satisfaction, Trust, UTAUT

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara pergerakan semu matahari dan kearifan lokal Jawa dalam konteks sistem penagalan Pranata Mangsa. Motivasi utama penelitian adalah untuk mengintegrasikan ilmu astronomi dengan tradisi lokal yang telah diwariskan turun-temurun oleh masyarakat petani di Jawa. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur kualitatif yang menganalisis artikel ilmiah, buku, jurnal, serta wawancara dengan tokoh masyarakat yang ahli dalam Pranata Mangsa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penentuan waktu tanam dan panen dalam Pranata Mangsa memiliki korelasi yang kuat dengan fenomena astronomi seperti posisi matahari. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah integrasi antara pengetahuan astronomi dan kearifan lokal tidak hanya memperkaya ilmu pengetahuan tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan praktik pertanian tradisional dan pelestarian budaya.

Abstract

Pergerakan lempeng tektonik memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kehidupan manusia. Salah satunya pada daerah-daerah yang berada di batas lempeng aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh pergerakan lempeng tektonik terhadap dampaknya pada produktivitas dan aktivitas manusia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan metode literatur guna mengidentifikasi dinamika pergerakan lempeng tektonik dan dampaknya. Tinjauan literatur berhubungan dengan konsep dasar teori lempeng tektonik, jenis pergerakan lempeng, serta dampaknya. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pergerakan lempeng tektonik dipengaruhi oleh gaya tarik slab (slab pull) dan dorongan ridge (ridge push), digerakkan oleh arus konveksi di dalam mantel bumi, serta oleh proses ridge push dan slab pull. Dengan mengidentifikasi teori lempeng tektonik, pergerakan lempeng tektonik bisa di pantau dengan teknologi GPS dan pemodelan numerik . Oleh sebab itu, penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai pergerakan lempeng tektonik perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pencegahan dari dampak pergerakan lempeng.

Abstract

Effective learning requires a deep understanding of the ontology, epistemology, and axiology underlying the learning model used. This article presents a review of the ontology, epistemology, and axiology underlying the Case Based Blended Learning with Mind Mapping (CBBL-MP) Model in the context of teaching students creative scientific ideas, collaboration, and social communication. In this review, we explore the ontological view of reality, epistemological view of knowledge, and axiological view of values and ethics relevant to the application of this learning model. The ontological exploration looks at assumptions about the learning universe, epistemology addresses the sources and validity of knowledge, and axiology highlights the values that are valued in the context of collaborative learning. With a deeper understanding of these foundations, it is expected that the use of the CBBL-MP Model can improve the quality of teaching and learning in developing students' scientific creative ideation, collaboration, and social communication skills.

Abstract

Student’s critical thinking skills in higher education level should be enhanced using diverse methods, one of which by developing learning media as assistance in conceiving the skills. This study was undertaken to determine the validity of the H5P learning media using ALLR (Activity Based-Lesson Learn-Reflection) model that could be embedded in a Moodle-based learning management system for Basic Science course to reinforce the pre-service science teachers’ critical thinking skills. This study used research and development (R&D) design using 4D development model. The developed learning media was an interactive learning media for Basic Science course that contained the ALLR learning model developed using the H5P platform embedded in Moodle-based SIDIA UNESA learning management system. The media was given to three experts whose expertise were science learning and learning media development. The validation was based on assessment criteria which included content, presentation, and language aspects. The results showd that all the assessment criteria for the learning media developed were declared very valid, except for interactivity sub-criteria which was valid. It can be concluded that H5P-based interactive media in LM with ALLR Learning Model is suitable for improving the critical thinking skills of pre-service science teachers in the Basic Science Course.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) strategy on the Consumer Purchase Intention (CPI) and Brand Loyalty (BL) of Muslim customers towards halal food products. The researchers utilised religiosity (RG) variable to investigate the moderating impact on factors associated with Muslim customers' marketing and purchasing intentions towards halal food. This research employs a quantitative approach, utilising the PLS-SEM evaluation model. The sample consisted of 200 individuals who identified as Muslim and were between the ages of 17 and 65. The study findings revealed that CRM had a positive and significant effect on both CPI and BL towards halal food products. In addition, the variable of BL significantly and positively affects the CPI of halal food. The researchers discovered varying outcomes for the RG variable. It was observed to have a positive moderating impact on the relationship between CRM and CPI, although this effect was not statistically significant. CRM Strategy is a strategic approach that yields favourable outcomes and advantages for consumers, companies, and receivers of donations. However, marketers must be attentive to the execution of CRM strategy. Several research have discovered that implementing this method leads to negative consequences, including increased scepticism and less warm glow effect among participating consumers. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui sosialisasi literasi keuangan di Desa Babakan dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, khususnya remaja dan orang dewasa, mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan yang bijak. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah rendahnya pemahaman tentang literasi keuangan sehingga banyak warga terjerat pinjaman ilegal dari bank emok dengan bunga tinggi. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan dalam bentuk seminar interaktif yang menghadirkan narasumber dari Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) dengan materi seputar perencanaan keuangan sederhana, bahaya pinjaman ilegal, dan pemanfaatan lembaga keuangan resmi. Mahasiswa KKN berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam mendampingi masyarakat selama kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terkait pengelolaan keuangan, ditandai dengan sikap lebih kritis terhadap praktik pinjaman ilegal, mulai terbentuknya kebiasaan mencatat pemasukan dan pengeluaran, serta meningkatnya minat untuk menggunakan layanan keuangan formal. Meskipun belum terlihat perubahan signifikan pada aspek ekonomi dalam jangka pendek, kegiatan ini berhasil membangun kesadaran kolektif dan motivasi masyarakat untuk mengelola keuangan secara lebih baik. Ke depan, tindak lanjut berupa kelompok belajar literasi keuangan desa dan pelatihan lanjutan menjadi peluang strategis untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat Babakan. Implikasi yang lebih luas dari program ini mencakup kontribusi terhadap transformasi ekonomi pedesaan melalui peningkatan ketahanan keuangan rumah tangga, pengurangan beban utang, dan pemberdayaan kelompok rentan, serta memberikan wawasan berharga bagi rekomendasi kebijakan implementasi program serupa di komunitas pedesaan lain di Indonesia.
