Abstract

Introduction: Nurses are an important part of patient care so they are often required to provide optimal service which sometimes causes fatigue. With different individual characteristics of each worker such as age and physical condition of workers and job characteristics such as length of service and duration of work, it is possible to experience fatigue at different levels of fatigue. Objective: To determine the relationship between age, work period, and work shifts with work fatigue in inpatient nurses at RSI Siti Hajar Sidoarjo and identify the relationship between age with work fatigue, work period with work fatigue, work shifts with work fatigue in inpatient nurses at RSI Siti Hajar Sidoarjo. Method: This type of research is quantitative with random sampling technique. Data collectin was carried out with IFRC (Industrial Fatigue Research Committee) questionnaire instrument on 125 inpatient nurses at RSI Siti Hajar Sidoarjo. The bivariate analysis process is carried out by testing the data with the SPSS program using the Spearman Rank Correlation test. Result: The majority of inpatient nurses who have the potential to work fatigue are ?35 years old, had worked for ?5 years, working on the morning shift, experienced low fatigue and the majority of nurses felt thirsty, wanted to lay down after work, often yawned, sleepy, and tired all over. Based on the hypothesis test, between age and fatigue was obtained sig. 0.002 < 0.05, between tenure and fatigue obtained sig. 0.001 < 0.05, and between work shifts and work fatigue obtained sig. 0.032 < 0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between age, length of service, work shifts with work fatigue in inpatient nurses at RSI Siti Hajar Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Engineering units are complex activities with diverse jobs such as maintanace, machine operation and machine supervision. These jobs have a high risk of occupational accidents, so they must comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) to reduce the risk of accidents and improve worker welfare. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Compliance can be influenced by internal factors and external factors. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the factors that cause Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) compliance. This research method uses quantitative research with a cross sectional research design with logistic regression analysis. Based on the output of statistical tests, the significance results of internal factors of age 0.015 <0.05, tenure 0.009 <0.05, knowledge 0.006 <0.05, attitude 0.016 <0.05, motivation 0.028 <0.05, ability 0.003 <0.05 and the significance results of external factors of work environment 0.12 <0.05. Internal factors (age, tenure, knowledge, attitude, motivation, ability) and external factors (work environment) influence and have a positive relationship with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Potensi bahaya dan pengendalian resiko K3 dilakukan dengan identifikasi potensi bahaya, penilaian risiko dan pengendalian risiko. Penilaian risiko K3 merupakan cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengelola risiko yang dihadapi fasilitas pelayanan Kesehatan terutama puskesmas. Pada lokasi penelitian ini, pekerja berpotensi terpapar berbagai faktor bahaya, meliputi fisik, kimia, biologi dan ergonomi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi risiko keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja fasilitas pelayanan Kesehatan di puskesmas kota malang dan memberikan rekomendasi pengendalian risiko bahaya tinggi (high risk). Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan data Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sebuah Puskesmas di Kota Malang pada bulan Juli – September 2022. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan skunder. Dimana data primer didapatkan dari hasil wawancara dan data sekunder dari dokumen puskesmas kota malang. Pengolahan data menggunakan tool formulir analisis resiko. Analisis data risiko ditentukan nilai kemungkinan (likelihood) dan keparahan (consequence). Langkah terakhir adalah menentukan nilai risiko dan peringkat risiko. Risiko yang menduduki peringkat tertinggi akan direkomendasikan untuk mendapatkan prioritas penanganan. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada lokasi lab, KIA/KB, dan ruang gizi terdapat 10 risiko bahaya yang terdiri dari 2 risiko bahaya tinggi (high risk), 4 risiko bahaya sedang (moderate risk), dan 4 risiko bahaya rendah (acceptable risk). Pengendalian risiko bahaya tinggi yang paling banyak dilakukan oleh puskesmas kota malang adalah pengendalian yang bertujuan untuk menurunkan nilai kemungkinan, yaitu pengendalian secara teknis dan administratif. Kesimpulan: faktor risiko keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan pada puskesmas kendalsari kota malang terdiri dari faktor bahaya fisik, kimia, biologi, dan ergonomi.

Abstract

AbstrakLatar Belakang: Kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan suatu peristiwa di jalan raya yang tidak diduga dan tidak disengaja. Dalam Global Status Report on Road Safety pada tahun 2015 lebih dari 1,25 juta korban tewas dalam kecelakaan lalu lintas dan 50 juta orang mengalami luka berat setiap tahunnya. Menurut data Kepolisian, di Indonesia, rata-rata 3 orang meninggal setiap jam akibat kecelakaan jalan. Kondisi kegawatdaruratan dapat terjadi secara tiba-tiba dan dimana saja termasuk di jalan raya. Ojek online merupakan profesi yang dituntut bekerja lebih banyak di jalan sehingga berpotensi menghadapi kondisi kegawatdaruratan. Tujuan: untuk mengembangkan peran serta prodi sarjana terapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja Poltekkes Kemenkes Malang dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dasar P3K berbasis penerapan keselamatan berkendara pada Komunitas Angkutan Online pekerja di Kota Malang. Metode Pelaksanaan: Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2022. Partisipan terdiri driver ojek online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan 3 tahapan yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap pembuatan laporan.Hasil: Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pemaparan materi dan praktek terkait penanganan pertama saat kecelakaan terjadi. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat merupakan pengemudi angkutan online yang berjumlah 23 orang dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 83% dan 17% sisanya berjenis kelamin perempuan. Kesimpulan: Pengemudi angkutan online dapat memahami secara umum tentang P3K, pengemudi angkutan online mampu mempraktekkan langkah-langkah pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan (P3K) dengan benar dan tepat, serta terjalinnya kerjasama antar komunitas pengemudi angkutan online dengan Poltekkes Kemenkes Malang. Kata kunci: pengabdian masyarakat: sosialisasi; pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan; pengemudi angkut online: malang. Abstract Background: A traffic accident is an unexpected and unintentional road event. According to police data, in Indonesia, an average of 3 people die every hour due to road accidents. Emergency conditions can occur suddenly and anywhere including on the highway. Online motorcycle taxi is a profession that is required to work more on the road so that it has the potential to face emergency conditions. Objective: to develop the role of the applied undergraduate program of occupational safety and health of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Malang in improving basic first aid skills based on the application of driving safety in the Online Transportation Community of workers in Malang City. Method of Implementation: Community service carried out in December 2022. Participants consist of online motorcycle taxi drivers. The research method used in this community service uses 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the report writing stage. Results: Activities are carried out with material presentation and practice related to the first handling when an accident occurs. Participants in community service activities are online transportation drivers totaling 23 people with 83% male gender and the remaining 17% are female. Conclusion: Online transportation drivers can understand in general about first aid, online transportation drivers are able to practice the steps of first aid in accidents (P3K) correctly and precisely, and the establishment of cooperation between the online transportation driver community and the Poltekkes Kemenkes Malang. Keywords: community service: socialization; first aid in accidents; online transport drivers: malang.
