Abstract

Abstract. This study examines the impact of political events, specifically presidential elections, and market volatility on abnormal returns in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with trading volume activity as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative approach, the research utilizes regression analysis on secondary data derived from financial reports of banking firms over a specified period. The findings reveal a statistically significant relationship between political events and market volatility in influencing abnormal returns. Additionally, trading volume activity is found to partially mediate this relationship. These results offer valuable insights for investors in assessing risk-return dynamics during politically sensitive periods and provide regulatory implications for maintaining market stability. The study contributes to the existing literature by integrating political economy and behavioral finance perspectives in the context of emerging markets. Abstrak. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Content Marketing and Customer Experience on Repurchase Interest in Ventela Brands by using quantitative research methods. The data collection technique used questionnaires that were distributed to management students of Nusa Cendana University. The samples in this study were taken using Purposive Sampling. This study was conducted on Ventela Brand users with a sample of 100 people. The data was analyzed with the help of SPSS software with multiple linear regression methods. The results of this study clearly show that content marketing and customer experience have a significant influence on repurchase interest. These results provide a clear direction: personal impressions through customer experience and content quality are more dominant in influencing repurchase intent than content virality. In other words, personal impression has been proven to be a determining factor in consumers' decision to buy again, not solely exposure to viral content. Content marketing strategies that are informative, educational, and consistent create added value that strengthens consumers' emotional connection to the brand. Consumers are not only exposed to content, but feel personally connected because it provides real benefits. These findings reinforce the approach of value-based content, rather than click-based content, in building loyalty. Meanwhile, customer experience has proven to play a central role in creating a deep impression. Positive experiences in both service interaction, product quality, and digital atmosphere lead to strong emotional engagement, which is the foundation for repurchase intent.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the influence of smoothness, security, and convenience on the decision to use QRIS by MSME actors in Kupang City. The focus of this research is in the context of the adoption of digital payment system technology in the MSME sector. Novelty – The novelty of this research lies in the focus of the MSME study area in Kupang City which has rarely received attention in the QRIS adoption study. This approach provides a more specific contextual understanding, as well as provides practical contributions for regulators and financial service providers. Method – Quantitative approximation was used in this study by collecting data through questionnaires to MSME actors using QRIS. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression to determine the influence of each variable on the decision to use QRIS Findings – The results of the study show that smoothness, security, and convenience have a positive and significant influence on the decision to use QRIS. Smoothness and security factors play an important role in forming trust and convenience in transactions, while ease increases the desire of MSMEs to adopt the technology. Limitations and Implications – This study is limited to the scope of MSMEs using QRIS in the Kupang City area, so generalizations to the wider population need to be cautious. The results of this study can be a reference for practitioners, financial service providers, and policymakers to improve QRIS implementation strategies through improving infrastructure, education, and digital literacy in the MSME sector.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on Return on Assets (ROA) of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2020–2023, with Firm Size as a mediating variable. The research is motivated by the decline in bank profitability during the COVID-19 pandemic due to increased credit risk and sluggish credit growth. Secondary data were collected from annual reports of eight major banks selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with bootstrapping to test the significance of relationships between variables. The results show that GCG has a significant positive effect on both Firm Size and ROA, highlighting the importance of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness in enhancing asset efficiency and profitability. However, Firm Size does not significantly affect ROA and therefore does not mediate the relationship between GCG and ROA. These findings indicate that while GCG contributes to firm growth, larger scale alone does not ensure higher profitability without effective asset and risk management. The study supports Signaling Theory, suggesting that strong governance practices send more valuable market signals than operational scale. This research contributes to understanding the determinants of bank profitability during periods of crisis and emphasizes the managerial importance of strengthening governance and asset management efficiency rather than focusing solely on expansion.
