Abstract

The novel is a description of the author's experiences, points of view and ideas which are set in a series of stories. The idea of ​​a novel is a representation of the picture of human life. Hayy bin Yaqdzan and Tarzan of The Apes are two novels that have a similar story. To find out the extent to which these two literary works are similar, a narrative structure analysis of the two novels is carried out. This study aims to compare the narrative structure of the novels Hayy bin Yaqdzan by Ibnu Thufail and Tarzan of The Apes by Edgar Rice Burrogh. This type of research uses literature study, novel as the material object of research. The narrative structure analysis uses the Badr-Stanton model by analyzing the themes, characterizations, plot and setting of the novel. Comparative analysis using content analysis of each novel narrative structure. The result is the narrative structure of Hayy bin Yaqzhan novel has similirities with Tarzan of The Apes within themes, characterization, plot and settting.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara (maharah kalam) adalah kemampuan ‘kedua’ dalam proses belajar berbahasa seseorang. Pada tingkat perguruan tinggi, keterampilan berbahasa asing secara aktif merupakan salah satu kompetensi pendukung kompetensi akademik. Penelitian ini berusaha menggambarkan strategi pembelajaran berbicara bahasa asing-Arab secara aktif melalui maharahkalam. Secara khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi small groups discussion pada pembelajaran maharah kalam (Bahasa Arab 3) di IAI Ibrahimy Banyuwangi. Strategi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab mahasiswa.Implementasi strategi ini akan dipaparkan dalam tujuan pembelajaran, materi, langkah-langkah, bahan ajar dan system evaluasi yang digunakan serta permasalahan-permasalahan yang munculdaripenerapanstrategiini.

Abstract

TOEFL (Test of Arabic as Foreign Language) is a test to measure the ability to speak Arabic. This test is used as a prerequisite in thesis writing at several universities. Language skills tested in TOAFL include Maharah istima ‘and Maharah qira’ah. Both Maharah includes elements mufradat, qawaid wa tarakib an nahwiyyah, fahm nash al masmu ‘, and fahm nash al maqru’. To facilitate the students attend and solve problems such TOAFL, UPT Language IAI Ibrahimy Banyuwangi held TOAFL Preparation Class (Fashl al I’dady) that the material in the form of the materials tested in the TOAFL.

Abstract

The development of the learning Arabic language cannot be separated from the development Arabic dictionary. As one of the tools to understand Arabic, Arabic dictionary has been compiled into many languages. As part of that must be owned by the Arab language learners, the development of the preparation of the Arabic dictionary does much review. In Indonesia, there are famous names as Arab-Indonesia dictionary. Search of the history of the compilation a dictionary of Arabic being the one thing that is very important to know the complexities of the world of lexicography both in the Arab world as well as in the non-Arab countries, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract This community service project focused on enhancing teachers' competencies through a workshop on lesson design and scientific article writing based on the Merdeka Curriculum. The objectives were to improve the teachers' ability to create differentiated learning designs and write structured scientific articles. The method used was a service-learning approach involving a series of workshops and follow-up mentoring. The results indicated a significant increase in participants' understanding and ability to implement the Merdeka Curriculum and produce scientific articles. The project contributed positively to the professional development of teachers, particularly in educational design and academic writing. Abstrak Proyek pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus pada peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui workshop tentang perancangan pembelajaran dan penulisan artikel ilmiah berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam membuat desain pembelajaran yang terfokus dan menulis artikel ilmiah yang terstruktur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan service-learning yang melibatkan serangkaian workshop dan pendampingan lanjutan. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan peserta untuk mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka serta menghasilkan artikel ilmiah. Proyek ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan profesional guru, khususnya dalam desain pendidikan dan penulisan artikel ilmiah. Kata kunci: Kompetensi Guru, Desain Pembelajaran, Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah, Kurikulum Merdeka, Pengembangan Profesional.

Abstract

The method of learning Arabic continues to change from time to time. Teachers as producers of learning methods must always choose the right learning methods for their students. Arabic is not a sacred language used as a means to convey God's language, but Arabic can also be delivered in a pleasant packaging. The Islamic Elementary School as a basic level in learning Arabic must help create the impression that Arabic is a language that is fun and important to learn. The 2013 curriculum in Arabic subjects has facilitated teachers to design innovative and student-centered learning. This makes it easier for teachers to choose the latest learning models to deliver the material, one example is cooperative learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning in Arabic subjects in The Islamic Elementary School. This learning model is used with the aim of improving student learning outcomes that have not yet reached the minimum completeness value.
